Really it wasn’t that bad.

Great plot and setting loved how you were always put on the edge but a good ending would have been nice maybe a good jump scare a chainsaw noise the horse man attacking him anything would have been ok but y’all left it as an empty ending if you know what I mean. And just to be a little historically critical they didn’t have answering machines back then it was too early for them to exist unless we expect that the horse man is from present day and is the one that put it there. But otherwise great job!!! You should set it up for a VR headset people would love it it would be like your actually there on the island and the scares would be a lot better played out!

Simply Brilliant Concept

I can’t say enough great comments about this app. Truly amazing concept of still life photos in “black & white”, with an immersive storyline, as you collect clues along the way. VR, with frightening sound effects & music, which adds to the uncertainty of the situation. It definitely has the “creepy effect”, I thoroughly enjoyed the app. & experience!
I hope the developer of this app. brings more similar ones to the app. store in the future. I would buy every one.
Great suggestion, future stories similar in nature, & “fear factor”, where you could buy individual chapters to complete the story. That would just be the best! This app. is surely worth a 5 star rating! Kuddos to the developer!!!

Want more

This was amazing to play! I loved the house and all the stuff! The only problem is I want to know more. It only gives little details like the horse and how they all died in newspapers at the end. I really wish there was more information. Also, not recommend for young children as I was playing on my mom's phone and the thing at the end scared me and I watch Ghost Adventures, My Haunted House, and more like that.😁

It was fun, but time consuming and a little confusing

Tell me, if you saw dead human parts on a path would you still walk said path? Even if there was no where else to go, I would have tried patching up my boat with sticks and when on about my day. The most confusing part is the end, it looked nothing like the house at first and it ended so abruptly. If I had nothing to do I’d go through the storyline again and look for answers. The storyline isn’t all that, but the worst part though was it was hardly scary. I’m by myself at home, 12 am and I’m not the slightest bit scared. I didn’t post this then because after the game I went to sleep. I recommend you play the game yourself and make personal changes.

It’s a good start

I love the creepiness but the story wasn’t fleshed out as well as I would have hoped. At the end I got excited because I thought that we would get to play it from the killer’s point of view, but instead it ended abruptly. I would have liked to see why he is the way he is, more family history, and definitely more SALEM. That’s what drew me to this game in the first place. I was going to rate this honestly as 3-4 stars, but I do see a lot of potential and even tho it was short, I appreciated the experience.

Great game

This game was really fun to play and I can defiantly say I haven’t played something like this before, and I honestly enjoyed it. Of course I would have really wanted to play from the killers point of view in the end, but I guess you can’t always get the things you want in life. But even though I was a bit disappointed with not being able to play the killer, the ending was just so sweet and it melted my heart! So all in all this was a great game and I enjoyed playing it.

Disappointing

I don’t normally play games, but this looked interesting. I found that I really enjoyed it for a while, as it did provide a few sections that induced goosebumps. However, I was extremely frustrated and disappointed when the game ended (with a rather lousy ending) within 20-30 minutes of paying $.99 to complete it. I know it’s only $.99, but I would have felt less gypped had I paid outright for the game, rather than expecting it to go on for at least a few more chapters after I paid to complete it.

Def creepy

I hope you do make more games, I thought it was a pretty free game and I’m sure you could do great things in the future! It was creepy & I even jumped from the piano & the knock. I think explaining more by showing more details would be good, like the pictures up close, or whatever the dolls were about, etc. maybe I didn’t totally get it (tho I got the end) thanks & good luck

Kinda neat, but then it becomes unplayable

After you escape from the Wardwell house for the first time, the main character decides to go back to his boat. Normally, what would happen is that eventually you'll be BACK at the house, and Chapter 3 will begin. However, the dialogue to progress the screen never appears for me, thus trapping me in the woods, presumably forever.

I know that the last update was three years ago, but can you patch this bug, please?

Want more

It was really good but I want so much more. I am super confused about the parts because it wasn’t very detailed only some little details but otherwise not. I would recommend this game but not for ages 9+ maybe 12+ because I am 12 and it was fun just maybe 9 year olds would get scared be I know I did. But it was a wonderful game and a great experience just want more
