Can't study without it!
I have been using this app for 2 years now and I can't study without it. As a college student with severe ADHD, I have found it very difficult to be able to concentrate on massive amounts of homework if I hear any outside noises or distractions. This app allows me to blast a sound through my headphones and comfortably block everything out to be able to concentrate. My favorite feature that I have not found other apps usually make available, is the ability to exit out of the app and do other things on your phone while still being able to hear the sounds. I have tried MULTIPLE noise maker/ white noise apps and this is the best one by far!! For the longest time I only used the free sounds but I recently decided to purchase the nature sounds and it was worth the 99 cents! I can still hear soothing nature sounds, but the white noise behind them still allows me to block other distractions out! This is simple and easy to use. I look forward to more updates in the future.

Best App! - stop searching for better White Noise app
Let me say that I’ve looked at half a dozen apps and this one is simply the best
Background - runs even when you leave the program and it runs in the background
Timer - great new feature and is useful so you don’t overuse it at night and wake your partner who might not like it as much running all night
Easy of Use - even if another program takes over sound and you leave it, you can go back into the program and click on the sound you were listening to twice to run it again
What more do you need?! Have been using this app for more than two years and haven’t found one better. I’ve stopped looking because why bother when this one is so great?

Lovely, useful, and well worth $$
Other than the usual reasons, this app keeps my Dogs from hearing little nocturnal critters outside, so don't bark :) which is part of why I have a hard time sleeping. In the morning, my clear brain and sleep app are in agreement that my sleep has improved greatly in only two days. Also in agreement with "Banana monkey apple," this is an excellent study tool, and is not as invasive as music can be when an ADHD/Aspie needs to not only focus, but to simply sit still to complete the tasks they have started. Thank you, Skunk Brothers, because in an inexpensive app of good quality, you are helping others improve their lives in ways you will never even know: ARAOK (anonymous random acts of kindness).

Best app period!!!
I have cancer and have been in the hospital for weeks at a time. This white noise app has allowed me to sleep thru the night by blocking all the noise from the halls and other patients, even when they do their hourly rounding. I woke once to a mob in the room looking for the leak!!! I also use this app on my nightstand at home as I am a light sleeper and all of the little house noises are blocked out. This app in my book should be in the top 10 of all apps. Every nurse that has treated me thru the night have asked me for the app details so they could get it also. Keep up the GREAT WORK!!!!

Best white noise app
I travel for 4 to 6 months a year and use this app to provide ambient noise to help get to sleep and stay asleep. Whenever I read a review of a hotel or vacation rental where the reviewer complains that the property was too noisy for a good night's sleep I want to recommend this app. Noisy neighbors? Roosters crowing outside my window? Chambermaids talking in the next room when I'm trying to sleep late? No problem--I just adjust the intensity and volume of this magical little app! No intrusive ads, clean design--thank you!

Who knew I'm a red noise gal?
I am a huge fan! I sleep through the night thanks to this app and my sleep phones headset. I love that there are different settings to white noise as well as I can't hear any looping like some of the others I've tried. I'm a light sleeper and it went from using only when I need it to using it instead of a fan. My husband likes it because he doesn't have to hear white noise because he likes silence. The headphones make it in happy stereo and blocks out snoring!

Best white noise app- hands down.
I sleep with white noise on earbuds every night to drown out spouse’s snoring. I’ve tried tons of apps and they all cost $ or have lots of ads and most of the sounds (besides the 1 or 2 basics) cost money. This one has no ads and nothing is locked. This one plays in the background, doesn’t stop and start. I love it. I can’t imagine any way to improve it. It’s exactly right as it is.

I've favored this app for several generations with some gaps in between; every time I set up a new device I check out what new white noise apps are available, and always end up going with this one. My first time I didn't appreciate the simplicity - but boy am I glad I tried it out. This continues to be my favorite, whether I'm going to sleep or blocking out distractions in waking life. Five thumbs up.

Great white noise app for calming a baby
All the sounds in the app sound similar and sound more like snow on an old-style TV when a station went off the air-perfect to help calm a screaming baby. All parents should get this ap! Plus you can leave it playing while being in another ap-this feature sets this white noise ap apart from the others.

Since my first 1st Gen iPad around 2012. (Also on my first iPhone)
I’ve always had trouble sleeping and this simple app has been a godsend for me.
Only one wish to the developer: I sure wish I could mix the sounds (i.e. thunder with rain). Otherwise it’s perfect just how it is.
