The new (current) version is insulting.
You “used” to be able to select (up to) 3 bullet types and physically see a line graph comparing the (up to) 3 rounds. Whelp, not anymore!
So much for using this app and providing visual comparisons while debating ballistics with your friends- way to go backwards with technology.

If it worked longer before crashing I might like it
Another unfinished app from people who don’t know what they’re doing and couldn’t care less. I like the idea of this app but it’s not even finished. 5.56 mm ammo is listed five times with no differentiating info. You have to click each one in turn and see if it’s the one you want. The software publisher knows nothing about the ammo business; 5.56 mm 62 gr is listed as Valor but the 55 gr ammo in same series is not. I guess nobody cared enough to check for accuracy.
Looks like you can change the range intervals to see the zero points for the distance you shoot at, or what the target range distance is. The app crashed, however, before I could finish looking at the information. And to think software quality is only going to get worse. I like Winchester USA Valor ammo but I hope the ammo team stays with what it knows—and locks the doors when the software clowns try to share their so-called “expertise.”
On a positive note, I do appreciate the privacy policy that at least appears to respect customers somewhat.

Not as good as it once was
This app used to let you compare 3 bullets. Now it only lets you select 2 bullets to compare. However, it only shows the results for one bullet (sometimes). Sometimes it shows no info at all. It’s a shame. Whoever updated this app made it really glitchy and unusable.

Worthless
Congratulations! One of your dweebs took a reasonably useful app and screwed it up such that it is useless. If you decide to make any sort of change in any of your cartridge selections, it erases all of your previous entries so you must start over from scratch. My God, have we devolved, or is it just congenital stupidity?

Wait to take something useful in making useless
Used to be very simple to use and very convenient. Now it is annoying and complicated, worthless. Notice all the positive reviews are from years ago, i.e. when the older version was actually useful.

Does not even work!
At one time this was the best ballistic app. Now all it does is say “oops something went wrong” and give you links to Winchester’s web sight. Which is worthless! Winchester, please do not take any advise from your app development team when producing or perfecting any of your ammo!

Zero distance
When you set your zero distance under 35 yards the charts assume you're using the near zero but beyond that they assume you're using the far zero. I don't know anyone who zeros using the far zero (bullet travels in an arc that intersects sight line twice)

Worthless
The older version was great and it was user friendly too. I’ve spent 30 minutes with this new version and it’s worthless. Put the older version back up!!!

ASSUMPTIONS
There is no way to enter a velocity into this calculator. If your firearm magically produces the mystery velocity they ASSUME you’re getting with their ammunition, then this is the app for you. They almost had a good app, but they simplified it to the point that it’s inaccurate unless you have their test rifle.
