WOW! Ultra Hack 4.4.1 + Redeem Codes

This app was the only thing allowing me to comfortably operate my WOW cable. The menu on the television screen responds like something a D student in coding set up and WOW can't be bothered to fix it. Whatever was done to this app in the last update has almost made it useless. It's still easier to use than WOW's on-screen menu so I have to give it 2 stars.

I’ve had Comcast/xfinity, superior service except customer service and their joke “deals”, especially the far overpricing. Bye. Att came next before they went fiber though, fair pricing/ok customer service BUT xfinity in the area messed up the service. Bye. And here we are, paying xcomcastinfinity prices for far less options, completely useless internet / cable. Today will be 4th demand for service call in 3 weeks.....one was terrific he walked to the “ultra” box of crap, sat down and played with our dog while telling me to go buy this and that at Walmart cause that’s the best he could offer.....second came and said I can’t help customer service erased all data.....third came out said yea it’s such an old modem we no longer carry them and they are the worst way to go ....BUT YOU ARE LOCKED IN FOR ANOTHER YEAR THEN WE CAN CHANGE IT OR GO BUY 100’s of dollars of equipment at Walmart...,..pray for the next to arrive as he/she can kiss it if they think they are leaving before completely changing the entire system out. Oh and read your fine print if you pay for 1g service....the highest it clearly states it will NEVER go above 800mbps.....also check your bills as we get charged twice for our equipment which took months for them to understand I wasn’t an idiot and back pay and fix or see ya. I’d go with joe blow internet and cable ran out of a gas station before recommending this company

The most recent update is not enough of a visual changes to make it worthwhile, and in the end the functionality of it is still absolutely poor. You can tell by the logo, which has also been updated, that this company doesn't focus on visual design. But normally companies that don't focus on the visuals at least focus on functionality, these guys don't seem to do either very well.

I are used to be able to sort the guide by genre, like sports, movies, etc. Now I have to do a search to be able to sort by genre, which takes me completely out of the guide. How pointless is that!

"Wow" is right, I don't know how else to react to how behind the times this company is.

The sync option does not display valid media gateways. There seems to be no way to send a network request to obtain the valid media gateways available. Therefore the sync feature is completely nonfunctional.

The search function window will often, for no apparent reason, delete characters already typed, as though a flush has been performed. This then requires retyping the characters that were flushed.

After reading other reviews, I expected this app to disappoint. However, it’s been working really well. I can control all three of my cable boxes from my phone. I also like the ability to look at the guide via the app vs. my TV remote. Totally recommend this app if you have the Ultra package.

My internet intermittently goes out for 5 mins. My kid was in virtual for a while and it would always go out while he was in class. My wife is a teacher, same thing. I have called and get basically no help. They sent a guy out to my house, he was rude and basically told me my internet shouldn’t be doing that “its new equipment” he said. I felt he was implying I had something to do with their service going out. I really do not like this company.

This app rarely recognizes my user and pw. Even when I have confirmed it is the correct user and pw. For some reason I get re-directed to another log in / register page. Only then, sometimes I can log in. IF I am able to log in then I am not able to submit payment. The app is slow, not intuitive at all and non-responsive when pressing on menu. I have iPhone6s and this app is horrible.

The app stopped working. I was on hold for 20 minutes. When someone finally answered his accent was really hard to understand. He gave me some suggestions which did not work. He put me on hold Nd disconnected me! I called back and again had to wait twenty plus minutes. This new CSR put me on hold and then disconnected me. WORST customer service EVER!

Update is nice...looks better but was supposed to fix streaming. I can't stream anything that I've recorded! So what was fixed with this update?? Why are you behind every other cable provider? At $150/mo for cable & internet, I shouldn't have this problem. Think I'm gonna switch to Spectrum to save some money & have an app I can actually use the features on 😔

I’m a WOW Ultra costumer that wants so badly to like this, but the app is terrible (especially through the Firestick) on the TV, which is the way WOW! told me to connect to it. Chanels often missing. Have to reset it constantly. Error messages, literally every single time I turn on the TV. Been a WOW customer for 8 years but this may be the beginning of the end.
