Hi, I recently downloaded XB and will confess, I’m REALLY ENJOYING the game, surprising myself due the usual deletion of SSOOO many of the games I’ve downloaded I also Appreciate the Advertisers working with the Developers/Gamers i.e. The Right People allowing free play I’d like to ask you/Apple/The Right People to adjust/rewrite the guidelines specifically the incessant play/repeated selection of the ‘X’ only to be directed to the App Store
This jester repeats seemingly endlessly (this is one of the Frustrations resulting in Deleted apps) Sadly XBapp is being considered I REALLY REALLY ENJOY the app, my correspondence is evidence - - I DON’T DO THIS!!!

Great Game, Frustrating Lack of Audio Control on Adverts

The game is very enjoyable and helps me decompress after a long day. My only gripe, and the reason for 3 instead of 5 stars is the ads. I understand that the developers have to make money somehow - so I understand their place and necessity in the app ecosystem. However, the audio/sound is so very annoying and disruptive. My phone is always set to vibrate and all of the sounds are off in the game. This does not stop the audio from playing from the ads. It is intermittent when this happens, it might be related to specific ads. Also, it always, ALWAYS mutes any music or podcast I have going to play the audio from the ad. And an option to silence the ad is not consistently available. This drives me absolutely bonkers. Sometimes my own audio will kick back on when the ad is over, other times I have to manually select play. I have some auditory sensitivity so it can be very unnerving in a lot of ways. Some type fix or controls for this would be very welcome. I apologize if there is a setting I missed that would control this but i cannot locate it.

Lacking Variety of Useful Shapes and Too Many Annoying Ads

Game could be better if there were more useful shapes offered. Some angles shapes in a specific size are not offered in their mirrored opposite shape of the same size. For example I may get a shape “[“ and then need the shape “]” and it never shows up. Again, that’s just an example. More importantly, I realize ads are necessary to an extent but this is overkill. EVERY single time I’m playing, an ad pops up RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY GAME - and this happens more than once. It’s extremely frustrating and annoying especially when I’m in the middle of a move, getting ready to drop my blocks in place. I have tried being patient but I just can’t with this game so I’ll be deleting it. Thankfully I found a very similar one with better graphics and an ad plays only at the END of my game once I’ve finished it.

Great game but I’m having a problem….

Hey guys!
LOVE Block X. Great game. Relaxing, easy to play. It’s been on my phone for many months. It’s one of the few that I haven’t deleted after 10 minutes. But I’m experiencing a glitch.
No matter what my game screen looks like when I sign out after playing, even if I have completely deleted all squares, it always reverts back to the same screen when I return. (A very full board.) The score that I reached during my last play is correct but the board isn’t. This has been happening just for the last couple days.
I tried reloading the game and restarting my phone, but the problem persists.
Could you please help me with this? Thanks! Keep up the good work!

Too many ads on free version

First, let me say that I really like this game. It’s fun and easy to do, and I realize that seeing ads is the trade-off for using the free version. However, I’ve noticed the longer my session goes, the more ads I receive. It’s gotten so bad that my game is often interrupted by ads about every two to three moves. I don’t mind watching the occasional ad, but think it’s ridiculous to have so many during a game. I’ve thought about deleting the app a couple of times.

If the number of ads are reduced, I would give this a higher rating.

It would also be nice to have a “back” or “undo” button. I play on an iPad, and every so often the blocks end up in a different place than where I intended, which is another source of frustration.

Fun Game

I enjoy playing this game a lot, especially the sudoku format.
The game would be improved significantly if instead of shutting down the game when the last block arrangement will not fit, why not do like other games and keep three configurations up at all times. Use one and another appears. This would prolong the game a bit and make it much more interesting.
Update: the developers contacted me and noted they would implement my suggestion and should be in the next update! That will immensely improve the game!

Good but

I’m fine with the ads but just don’t put them in the middle of games. I’m not asking for ads to be removed entirely, you can still keep ads after games, but ads DURING games are absolutely ridiculous! Why interrupt games? I get it, a game might last something like 20 minutes if you’re good enough, but still.

Game runs slow

Have been playing for several months and very much enjoy it and with no problems. However about two weeks ago after a few minutes of normal play it would make my iPhone X start to run hot and the game would slow down and almost freeze at times. This is the only app or game that this happens with. If I wait a couple hours I can repeat this same sequence of play for about 5-7 minutes before it slows to a crawl. Any ideas on how to fix this issue? Thanks.

Loved it until recent update

I really liked this game until the recent update adding too many additional shapes that are too hard to get to fit u less you have more coins to use the option to change the position of the shape. It would be better if with this update the game gave the open for a “hard” level to use the new shapes.
Downloading a new game that is more fun to play.. losing every game unless I use coins isn’t fun..

Thanks for replying to my review. If you set a hard or easy choice or maybe allow us to change the direction of the shapes since you added new ones I would like that. That’s just a suggestion

Fun but ads are impossible

I really love playing this game. But I have two major issues that’s causing me to get rid of it. First, I don’t mind the ads, however, there are several of them that the x to press to close it is so small and so far in the corner that you can’t close it out. I try to press the x and it takes me to the App Store to download the ad. I can’t get back to my game. Secondly, I would pay to get rid of the ads but I feel it’s outrageous to have to pay a weekly, monthly or yearly fee to do so. All of the games I’ve downloaded offers a one time price. I think this is highway robbery. You can buy a game for less than getting rid of the ads on this one.
