Yoritsuki is a software application whose theme is that of a Japanese inn.Guest room are richly imbued with Japanese atmosphere. The view changes completely with the turn of the four seasons.
As the seasons and daylight hours change, so do the background sounds and animations (birds, snow, fireflies and so on).
Choose your favorite shoji. Slide it as you like to alter the view.

The iPhone version of Yoritsuki has been optimized for the iPad. New features and sounds are included.
How is the iPad version different from the iPhone version?
- Graphics and operation procedures are optimized for iPad.
- The My Preset function saves the settings, including the layout of shoji and various items.
- Preset modes (the four seasons) set items all together according to season.
- A button resets an item with a single tap.
- Sunset mode and some sounds including the singing of Higurashi(evening cicadas) were added.

Perfect Safe Place For Me
Thank you so much for this wonderful app! been using since iphone 4 and theres nothing else quite like it. I've tried tons of meditation and white noise apps trying to tame my insomnia and anxiety but this is the one app that I keep going back to. there're just so many details that remind me of my childhood and make me feel safe and relaxed. bless you guys for such a heartwarming piece of work🖖🏻

I’ve loved this app for several years now (since its initial debut) and used it on several different iPads. I like that you can modify the scene & seasonal sounds. Great anxiety reducer and white noise sleep aide.

The iPad version of this app is a treasure. The larger screen makes a difference at appreciating the details of the artwork. I currently have an iPad 2, and the picture has only a minimal grain. Propping my iPad up on a stand while this app is on really makes me feel like I'm on a mini-vacation. While I have a some minimal quibbles (which can be seen in my other review) I would say that this is a must-have app for relaxation, trying to get to sleep, or even taking a hot bath.

This is an absolutely beautiful app! I am a lover of all things Japanese so my eyes were drawn to this app. I was definitely not disappointed! There is so much packed into this one little program. It is so beautiful. The wonderful sounds, seasons, landscapes, settings and little extra added bonuses... this app was an absolute pleasure to navigate. I'm relaxed and focused
I find myself always using this app during work because it shuts out all the unnecessary thoughts and lets me focus in my work. They have sounds for different seasons (the summer seriously takes me back to when i stayed in the Japanese countryside for 3 months)

Wonderful app!
I seriously LOVE this app. The graphics, sounds, everything about it is incredible!! It's very cute (Kawaii) & relaxing - you guys are amazing for making such a wonderful app! Thanks & please keep up the great work!! I only hope that any Apple updates don't affect this in the future - if so I hope that you update it (this app is too good to lose!)!

It's good, but needs an update after iOS 8
I've had this app for a long time, and used to be able to let it run all day in the background as I worked. I found the sounds quite soothing.
However since iOS 8 came out, the app no longer will keep running in the background. It runs for about a minute, then the sounds stop. No crashes, no other issues, the sounds just stop.
This is a great little relaxation app - please update it for iOS8!

Natural cure for insomnia
I seriously love this app. This app is the answer to my insomnia problems. It's just so soothing and calm and it puts me right to sleep. I love the sleep timer option so that I don't waste my battery life. The scenery is just so beautiful. Makes me feel like I'm actually there. My favorite has to be the rain. Just love it.

Soothing and fun
This is a wonderful little app. I have both the iPad and iPhone versions. Very customizable, and entertaining. One suggestion would be to make the sounds individually adjustable. Sounds like the cicadas, frogs, and the higurashi are LOUD and can pretty effectively drown out other sounds. Otherwise, this is a really fine app.

Love this app! But could use more...
Love this app--it was one of the first ones I bought when I got my iPad. However, I think it would be perfect if it had an alarm clock. It's so great to fall asleep to the tranquil sounds of this app--but waking up to them would be even better.
