Miss Buda,
Love it! But...
I like this kind of games! Although it could take too long and going back and forth to find clues... it would save a lot of time if I could save the clues I find during the game instead of having to take pictures of the screen with my other phone.

Just add some screenshot feature!! :)
ConsiderThis777,
Even following clues given, app controls do not respond correctly
The clues are very involved and the steps needed to complete the clues require one to have to write them down, as there are so many specific steps one is required to complete. For example, one has to place a lever on the ship’s throttle, and then turn the lever in various directions; followed by specific turns on the ship’s steering wheel. They have to be completed in a specific order or it doesn’t work. When I placed my finger to direct either the steering wheel or the lever, it would erratically respond by going in the opposite direction of where I was directing it. Then you are suppose to start all over again which I gave up on out of complete frustration since it would just malfunction again. The lever and steering wheel are placed too close to each other, which further complicated one being able to have the app respond as directed.
Keybordz,
Immersive, challenging, a few annoyances
The vibe of this game is reminiscent of Meridian 157, perhaps not quite as sinister, although I realize this one came much earlier than those. The juxtaposition of artifacts from various historical eras is a compelling plot device.

It is a sprawling experience which unfolds gradually and pleasantly for the most part as puzzles are solved and more parts of the island are unlocked. As others have pointed out, having a camera and/or map feature would improve the user experience. My biggest gripe is with the inventory management as empty blocks are left when objects are used for the final time, meaning you have to scroll through a lot of dead space as more items are accumulated.

Was hoping for a little more payoff at the end, all of the possible choices seem to lead to the same sendoff.

Very impressive for what appears to be a very small development team...I'll be checking out the rest of their titles.
InuyoukaiMei,
Best Point and Click App
I've played a lot of these types of games and this is seriously the best one I've played. The story is not too distracting from the fun of the game, the clues are wild but do connect and make sense. The hint feature is optional and when used basically makes a puzzle piece into easier pieces. I loved this game from start to finish. I didn't find myself rushing through or utterly stumped, great pacing. You should get this game if point and click is your thing. Most other apps are going to pale in comparison after this.
Kroz Hog,
Quality entry in the genre
Of the three Aircamp games, this is my favorite. The puzzles are plentiful, and range in difficulty from simple to pretty dang hard. I love how the puzzles are, for the most part, blended into the story and the environments, which makes them unique and more interesting to solve. The story is a little kooky, but I actually thought that was part of the game’s charm.

The game looks and sounds great, the map is extensive, and the puzzles frequently require pulling multiple clues and objects together to solve. Well worth playing.
JLL-ipad,
Just okay
This game could be much better with a few tweaks to the game play and interface. A simple map with key locations would really help with navigation. It is not always easy to get back to previous locations visited on island.
Most games of this type limit accessible locations and objects. You have to use a few objects in inventory (solve puzzles) to progress to more locations and more objects. This game has many locations and many objects that can be picked up. It is a confusing mess to sort out. It might be more managable with better interface for the inventory.
quimble,
Good game, but glitchy
I've really enjoyed this series of games (Secret of Chimera Labs, Telescope Hill) - there are nice, immersive environments that you can explore, and I generally like the variation in puzzle complexity.

The downside is that the games crash frequently, which is very frustrating (although at least you don't lose any progress when this happens).

I've also found that with this game, there are some glitches with the carried objects: part way through game play, the ladder disappeared, even though I still need it to solve some of the other puzzles. Another object (one of the round stones) continues to appear in the inventory list, despite already having been used up and no longer selectable (it just sits in the inventory list).

And as others have mentioned, it would be really nice to have some kind of journal (like in Chimera Labs) - I've been taking a LOT of screenshots to keep track of all the clues.

Challenging, Lots of Fun
As many other reviewers have stated, this game has a lot of potential and contains a lot of fun puzzles. I really enjoyed exploring the environment and solving the challenging puzzles, but navigating around the island became tiresome. Otherwise, the graphics are beautiful and the storyline is intriguing. I definitely recommend this game to fans of point-and-click puzzlers!
PhoebeD723,
Nice and long!
Great pace. You gradually get more and more of the island to explore. You will need a pen and paper, which makes for fun notes later (conspiracy theory? No, video game). The hint feature gives just the right amount of information. Try to avoid using it, though, or your game will go by too quickly!
The Crenz,
A real challenge
If you’ve never played this type of game before, this is not the one to start with because it is more challenging than most. But that’s a good thing for those of us with experience, because you won’t be completing it quickly.
