Film Trailers within the App
Just joined the Angelika membership and love how the app has the list of showings for my theater so I can know what’s showing when. That’s great. Would love to see on the Film Info tab a link to see the the trailer for that film. That would be huge and awesome and think that would give me the info I need to make a quick decision on whether to see the movie. Currently I rarely commit to seeing a movie without seeing the trailer. Thank you for your app and considerations for this improvement request.

Signing up messes your up
I went to buy the tickets and at the end of the payment it asks if we want to download the app and become a member. I decided why not. Doing so moved the tickets that I was buying from my location to New York. So when we went into the movie, we couldn’t watch it. The other shows were sold out so my son and I had no alternative. Another father with his kids had the exact same thing happen. They also now have no movie to watch. So beware and make sure to check that they didn’t move your tickets. I should have checked, but the app shouldn’t have reset my location after I already put in my Cc details. I am giving the app 3 stars. Not the movie theater.

We’ve missed you, Angelika!
My family has sorely missed heading to the cinema together to catch the latest independent movie. It was sooooo good to be back last weekend watching Minari together.

App Crashes
The app is touted a convenience so you can order food ahead and skip the line. You’re also supposed to get 10% off if you’re a member and order through the app.
Unfortunately, I have NEVER been able to order food through the app and I have tried for over a year. No matter what, the app crashes as soon as I select “continue to payment.”
This is a HUGE problem (especially given that the app is promoted especially for making the food ordering easier). It’s also been going on for a year or more. I’ve emailed corporate about this to no avail.

Airbnb host shares Angelika as one of the biggest treasures for San Diego moviegoers!
Angelika is a gem, a treasure and delight. My favorite time to go to the movies is before noon when tickets are $8.50 and free coffee. My Airbnb visitors love and appreciate my sharing Angelika with them. My firsts Angelika was in NYC and was I excited to learn San Diego was given this gift of A movie going experience! A movie goers treasure!
Angelika - App Issues,
App needs improvement
To say it’s “buggy” is an understatement.
List of issues:
1 - Allowing you to follow the path to purchase a movie then just blinks out of the App. Happens frequently
2-Does not allow you to make a purchase from multiple payment sources - though it specifically notes that you can.
3- Because of #2 you end up with multiple gift cards with no amount suffient to “buy” a movie ticket.
4- Out of shear frustration I went into the theatre to purchase tickets - they can not apply a gift card to my in-person purchase.
5- Because of 4 and 1 above by the time I actually was able to purchase tickets I had lost the seats I really wanted to have.
I’m at the point it might be better for my time to go to Cinopalis in Del Mar 🤨

Crashes on load since Covid 2020
Here we are 3 years later and this app still just crashes on launch loading what is in theaters unless you tap to your account to stop the crash . Trying to order food with the app also crashes. Takes me an avg of 3 attempts to place an order. This app is basically unusable. Better off using the website with a browser. I wish I could give this app less than 1 star

This app gives you about 5 minutes to complete your transaction and it has at least four or five errors while you’re trying to purchase so you inevitably have to restart the process. TERRIBLE

Can’t use multiple gift cards
I have gift cards with leftover balance, but when paying, I can’t use it. I can’t use on the app because it doesn’t allow me to use multiple payments. I can’t use at the theater because they need the full GC numbers, but app only showed last few digits.

Extremely clumsy
First time use of app. Instead of a screen to enter multiple items, had to go through multiple screens. Hard to find what I had to do to continue.
Tried to buy a ticket. When paying, all the methods of payment were grayed out. Couldn’t select credit card. Had to back all the way out, go into my account info, then add credit card. And start all over.
