In other words, the teaching now doesn't' emphasize how when you are really sleepy, you will sleep even if you feel anxious. Rather, it emphasizes that when you go from thinking of being awake at night as a friend rather than a foe, as something acceptable rather than unacceptable, amazing things happen!

This app is a life changer
Insomnia has been one of the hardest things I have ever had to deal with. it was hard, frustrating, scary, and at times I felt hopeless. I read "say good night to insomnia" and started that program. It was good but felt a little robotic, with a lot to think about and manage. I began to obsess over sleep and the to-do list, which was the opposite of getting back to great sleep. Then I heard about "Set it and Forget it" with the Bedtyme app. I felt like this was a lot more helpful on my journey back to great sleep. $329 might seem like alot, but it is worth every penny. The Bedtyme team, I feel, deserves much more money for how they have changed my life. The app is so helpful and structured in such a simple way. For so many days, I felt like giving up and going back to a pill, and this app, with the chats, helped keep me going. If you are scared or on the fence, trust me and go all in with this app. Jump in with both feet, and don't ever look back! There were a few times I was just about to give up and shortly thereafter made big steps forward. If you learn the truth/education about sleep and follow the app and advice, you will, in time, learn to let go of this sleep fear. It will take time, patience, and humility, but it will work. And it will help with other areas of your emotional and mental life/toughness.

You must try it
I’ve had this crazy obsession with sleep for ten years, after my mother passed. I became fanatical about it and my sleep worsened over time. I tried everything and became on and off obsessed with medications and marijuana, particularly awful Benzos and other alternative remedies such as Accupunture, hypnosis, naturopaths, talk therapy, brain wave therapy, spending THOUSANDS of dollars on things that did not help (some harmed). This sounds crazy, but when you can’t sleep, you’ll do anything to obtain it, even if you know it is absurd. Well, I am here to say that this is the ONLY thing that has worked for me and I wish I had known about this program a decade ago. It’s so simple and easy to follow. I feel so much more positive about the direction I’m headed. Life is better everyday and it’s only been a little over three weeks! All I can say is try it and most of all, don’t waste time. Do the program properly, and you’ll start sleeping better in no time. I knew about sleep restriction, but it sounded so harsh until Daniel made it more easy to follow. And he is there to answer any questions you may have along the way. It is not easy, which is why it took me so long. It is extremely challenging but well worth the effort you’ll put in. I still have a bit to go, but I am so happy with my results so far. I feel that this can help so many others too. Thank you Daniel!

Life changing
I was dealing with terrible insomnia, just weeks of no sleep at all, or just a couple of hours of sleep at most each night. I had migraines because of it, and had a very demanding phase at work too and just had to power through it, miserably. I spoke to a sleep specialist and they suggested melatonin daily for 3-5 months, making sure I exercise before noon (impossible for me) and several steps for sleep hygiene. And I had read about sleep efficiency and sleep opportunity and every night I would stare at the clock watching the sleep opportunity pass me by and my efficiency = 0%.

Then came this app. Their modules are so disarming and light and and easy to do everyday — they instantly took out the weight of insomnia off my shoulders and I started sleeping deeply and well from day 1. I loved that I could also ask questions to my coach Daniel, throughout — absolutely love the 1:1 aspect. His responses are so thoughtful and he is so knowledgeable on so many different topics on sleep.

I am tracking nothing, I don’t look at the clock, I don’t obsess over every detail of sleep hygiene and I fall asleep pretty much as soon as I hit the bed. It’s been wonderful and a far cry from my former self. No sleep anxiety anymore, or comparing myself to other people who sleep 8 hours a night.

I started having problems sleeping once my youngest child turned one. We have two kids and both of them struggled with sleeping through the night for a period of about 6 months. During that time I was up so much at night.
Once they started sleeping again, I stopped sleeping. I put so much pressure on myself to sleep, that I never slept. I became so fearful of being awake at night. It impacted my mood, my workouts, and my family. I was miserable.
The BedTyme app and Coach Daniel saved me during this time. I honestly prayed for help to sleep again and then immediately found this app through Instagram of all things. Daniel’s coaching of just stop trying and befriend wakefulness seemed insane at first and terrifying. But with following his guidance, I started sleeping almost immediately.
Anytime I would have a hiccup and have fears of not sleeping again, I would message him and he’s give me some profound analogy that brought to a place of calm again. His teaching truly transcend sleep and made a lot more of my life more peaceful. I’ve let go of a lot of things through learning about insomnia. I’m truly grateful for Daniel and the BedTyme app.

There is hope!
This app is the perfect remedy for sleepless nights. It is easy and fast to use with the information and advice you really need. It is clear the creators have done their research and that the methods and approach used in this app are evidence based. It is probably more effective, cheaper, and more time-efficient than going to see a therapist. I was pleasantly surprised and touched by the personalized support I received from my sleep coach. He always knew exactly what I needed to hear and was encouraging and positively focused about my future. This app first gave me hope that I could get better and wouldn’t always be dealing with insomnia. Before I got this app, I was spending my days exhausted and filled with anxiety about sleep and my nights frustrated and wide awake. Now, I have a whole new mindset about sleep, am sleeping every night, and feel so much better about life! You can do it too! I feel so grateful to the creators of this app and my sleep coach. Must have app for insomniacs!
I’ve been struggling with insomnia for at least 15 years, maybe even 30. Last week I was finally at a breaking point and I started searching for everything. Melatonin, CBD edibles, apps, someone to hypnotize me every night, whatever. I am SO GLAD I stumbled across this app!!!! I was intrigued by the description but what really sold me were the reviews.
I figured I’d try it out for a few days & decide whether it was paying for yet another attempt to solve this frustrating problem.
WELL WORTH the cost!! Within a few days I was sleeping better than I had in years. Coach Daniel is so knowledgeable and very responsive. The customer support also far exceeds expectations.
I cannot recommend this app enough. Sure I’m only a week plus into it, but it has literally changed my life. Can I add that I’m so much happier these days? Great app
I’ve had insomnia for over 13 years, during most of which I’ve used a benzodiazepine at night. When I attempted to quit this medication, my insomnia worsened significantly. After listening to several Sleep Coach School podcasts, I decided to give this app a try. It’s been about 5 weeks and my outlook on sleep/insomnia has totally changed. I wouldn’t say I’m 100 % cured - the program even acknowledges that we’ll have ups and downs, or “setbacks” - but I can feel the fear of wakefulness diminishing every day and I know I’m on the right path to sleeping well. For example, I fall asleep really easily now, and even if I don’t stay asleep all night, it’s so encouraging to see that change. And most importantly, I’m much less bothered when I wake up randomly at night. When I don’t get worked up about it, I either fall back asleep or rest peacefully and I can still have a good day. I feel ready to quit my medication now that I know I can sleep. This app has restored my confidence in my body’s ability to sleep.

Worth every little red penny
I never had a problem sleeping until my daughter started sleeping through the night. My psychology changed after months of anticipating her waking I guess. When she started sleeping, I found myself laying in bed wide awake for hours, night after night, lonely, sad, and ruminating. Well, someone mentioned this app in a new moms support group when I was asking desperately about safe sleeping pills to take while breastfeeding. What a life changing little moment! The daily lessons are perfect to read in the morning, short and to the point, but the real benefit is the one on one coaching. I was able to share every weird thought and feeling that pops up with insomnia with my coach who not only was able to provide answers, but could totally empathize with my process. Never once needed a sleeping pill, tea, light shielding glasses or any of that stuff, and now I shudder to think where I would be without this app! I am one grateful, well rested mama now who can get on with life! 😂💗

My answer to 30+ years of struggle with sleep
Wow, do I wish I had found this app years ago!! I am someone who has struggled with sleep my whole life, literally for as long as I can remember. Like so many, I went down every path and tried every possible solution to try and “fix” what I thought was a physical or medical problem. When I first found Daniel’s work and started to understand that the real problem was my thoughts and anxiety around not sleeping, my mind was blown! I started to sleep better almost immediately and my entire relationship to sleep has changed. I don’t think of myself of a “bad sleeper” anymore, and I’m not one! If you’re someone who struggles with sleep in any capacity, stop what you’ve been doing and give this program a shot. Lifesaver
Before trying this app, I’ve been suffering from insomnia for a couple of months. Nothing I was doing was helping. I spent hundreds of dollars on homeopathic approaches, hypnotists, and many, many various medicines/supplements. A couple of people mentioned that CBT-I is very helpful but unfortunately I couldn’t find one at a reasonable price. One day, I accidentally stumbled upon this app and my life was changed forever. Daniel’s CBT approach got rid of my anxiety as I realized I was going about sleep the wrong way!! After a couple of weeks, I went from having multiple nights of night sleep to practically no nights of no sleep. I am really grateful for Daniel’s help and having the new knowledge towards destroying my insomnia forever!!! I highly highly highly recommend this app to everyone!!
