Board certified doctors with an average of 10-15 years in practice are available 24/7 without an appointment!

Dr Nelson was great talking with me about the UTI I have,they should voice the fact that if you are a male and have a UTI,they can not do anything for you,because it’s unusual for males and they don’t have a urine sample,which this is out of his control,it should be the ones who set up the o lines Dr visits to let you know this up front,this way you don’t lose $59 which it says you can cancel and not be taken out of you account,but mine was taking the minute I hit submit,The Dr was very good and very knowledgeable of what I need to do next,and i explained that we have done this for the last 2 yrs,they go away after antibiotics but always come back 6months or so later,it’s always the same thing,ecoli,and they don’t know what is causing it to come back,but I have about came to the conclusion that it’s something that I will have to live with off and on for the rest of my life,I have been to urologists,had scopes done,everything I was told to do,so anyway Dr Nelson was a great Dr,just couldn’t help me because on the rules and me being a male with a UTI,only down fall I see is on the people who have you waiting to see the dr,they should let you know what they can’t treat before your money is taken,God Bless

Finally good options for minor doctor needs
This is great. It is a good option when simple illnesses pop up that really don’t need more than a discussion and a quick prescription to fix. I didn’t have to go to a room full of contagious people and sit for a long time. This use of the video doctor took less than a 10 minute wait while I continued to work. I didn’t have to leave my office to get cured. Good service. Good treatment. The doctor was as good or better than any I have seen in person and took time to provide all explanations needed for my treatment.

Terrible for mental health.
I’ve been debating making myself a mental health appointment for awhile now. CareFirst kept sending me emails recommending the video visit app, so I finally decided to go for it. After working up the nerve, I scheduled I visit. I was informed ahead of time it would cost $85, even though when I called BCBS they said I had a 20% copay. Ok…I’d made it this far, and I’m no quitter. So I put my payment info in and waited. 5 minutes after my appointment time a chat opened, saying they were support staff there to help with any questions prior to my appointment. They promptly left the chat, so I couldn’t even respond. 15 minutes after my appointment time another chat popped up. This one regretted to inform me that the therapist had declined my appointment request and I would not be charged. I made that appointment a week in advance and was told if I didn’t give 24 hours notice of cancelling I would be charged $40. Considering the amount of anxiety to even blindly make this appointment, then the 15 minutes of waiting, and that I wasted quite a bit of time on my day off ( I could have done other things if I hadn’t had the appointment), they should be compensating me for the cancellation at this point. What a terrible way to care for patients.

If you have CareFirst insurance and don’t live in Maryland prepare to have tons of surprise out of pocket expenses. First of all nobody knows what Carefirst is. Anything you’re told in the app or over the phone by carefirst staff means nothing or as carefirst puts it ‘is only an estimate and does not guarantee coverage’. Carefirst staff will try to assist you but at the end of the day if they give you wrong information and nothing happens to them while you get stuck paying hundreds of dollars in surprise expenses. You could record the entire conversation where you got wrong information from CareFirst and you still have to float the bill because they already told you their words and tools mean nothing. Don’t take my word for it. Watch your claims over the years and find out for yourself. I’m glad to see this app has gotten better over the years. My experience with Carefirst coverage has not. Oh one more thing, don’t be surprised when you get bills from appointments you had 10 months ago. Hopefully for your sake you didn’t have a bunch of those same appointments and the bills are racked up.

Video Visit was just great!!
I have tired of waiting for appointments with WALK-In clinics. Why do I need an appointment if it’s a walk-in clinic! 😃 Anyway, I saw Authrine Whyte, a family doctor, and she was awesome!
She was pleasant, and smiled while interacting with me. She actually listened and didn’t try to cut me short like plenty of doctors do. She gave me good advice, took time to look at my chart, and was quite knowledgeable about causes and gave me strategies to use. I will use Video Visit again should I need something from a doctor.

Some improvements needed but good
The one improvement really needed is to clarify pricing much earlier on. It expects you to wait till the very end of making the appointment to tell you how much you will pay with your plan if at all.
It’s nice that they can prescribe, I had a few symptoms and the least troublesome was a cough I was hardly coughing and dr sent me a prescription for cough pills.
It would be great to know what services they provide, would they prescribe blood testing ? Can I get a vaccine prescription?
Which services would they not be willing to do on phone ? I look forward to trying out their nutritionists

Just who I needed
Toni is such a blessing to me. In one session she helped me more than I could of ever imagined. She gave me the strength to work through my problems and emotions. I love that she is faith based, me being a christian and knowing God is on this journey with me gives me hope that I can and will eventually be ok. Great app but the only thing I don’t like is how they have the waiting room set up you have to wait and watch your phone to see when the provider will join versus getting a call or text beforehand that the provider is ready( that’s how the other app worked) . I also wish there was an option for video or voice I don't always want to be on camera . Other than that I’ve had good experiences the few times I have called and I do appreciate having this feature available to me.

I AM SERIOUSLY LIVID!!! I waited for a Dr. from 7:21pm until 4:34am. I NEVER saw the dr despite after 6hrs of waiting saying “you are the next patient”. My phone locked after 20% and I don’t know if that kicked me out or if just having not finally “seen” the doctor after so long kicked me out. Either way after ten hours, again TEN HOURS to see an online video chat doctor I still saw NO ONE and was asked to go back into waiting behind at least 8 other people. I am a mom of 3 boys, one of which is 8weeks old and nurses (breastfeeds). I don’t have TEN HOURS to sit on my phone after a long day, nursing, and now still having to get up with my other 2 boys in just a few hours with little to no sleep. I AM NOT HAPPY!!!

This is awful. I waited three hours, and then when I was only 3 people left it said dr was no longer available, and it kicks you out instead of transferring to another doctor, so you have to wait hours again. I tried again another day, waited over two hours, saw a doctor for 3 minutes, and they never sent the prescription he said he was going to send (and it’s listed in my visit chart- he just never sent it to pharmacy. And There is no way to message the doctor you saw for emergency care, so I need to wait 2-3 hours again to see a different doctor to possibly be kicked out after waiting or them to also be incompetent.
