This was my first experience Using the eVisit on MedSTAR and it was an amazing experience .way better than going to a doctors office. I will absolutely continue to use this . it’s a very comfortable experience from your own home, and it seems like it’s going to speed up the process when I actually go to the doctors office for testing. as well as better informing the doctors about the problem since the team already knows what needs to be done before I get there kudos to the new system good job. I definitely see this being the future of health care services. I would bet they could take the same approach and use it for car problems also. People test driving the car and getting a mechanic to listen to the sounds or pay attention to the vehicle behavior that would save lots of repair fees for people that are too poor to pay a dealership. Or to trusting and getting ripped off from shady mechanics.

My Opinion on MedStar eVisit
I was very impressed with the eVisit. The only complaint I really have is how if you have more than one child needing to be seen for the same symptoms, or even something else, you can’t do two kids per appointment. You have to do it separately which is kind of an inconvenience, especially when needed the same prescriptions or Dr notes for both. But overall the doctors were very friendly and helpful. They answered any questions I asked and covered any concerns I had. I would recommend this to my other family and/or friends. It is also very helpful for other people like me who have issues with transpiration. But from my two appointments I had for my two sons, I’d give 5 stars! Keep up the great work. Thank you all for your hard work, it is greatly appreciated!

Amazing
I have asthma and my doctor’s office closed their practice so I was left without my inhalers and couldn’t get an appointment with a new doctor for a month. I was in desperate need of my inhaler refills, MEDSTAR provides all of my medical treatments so I did a search and found MEDSTAR e visit I was able to connect with a nurse practitioner in minutes and my inhaler prescriptions were immediately sent to my pharmacy. I was in a panic because having asthma and not having my inhalers is a scary thing. I was so relieved to get my meds that I desperately needed and the provider was amazing. I’m so grateful to MEDSTAR E-visit I love MedStar they are always there when you need them.

Simple, fast, and friendly !
Going to the doctors office/urgent care with small children can be nearly impossible. Sometimes it’ll make us ignore our medical issues due to the inconvenience it would cause having to leave the house for an appointment. By the time I downloaded the virtual app, made my appointment/filled out the consent forms, I was seen by a provider within 30 mins! She was friendly, professional and straightforward to the point. I am impressed :)

Excellent service is provided but the app disconnects
Excellent service is provided but the app disconnects very easily resetting your wait time. Like my therapist uses an app that if I receive a text or call, I can respond, but if you navigate away from this app a moment, it often disconnects. Awful when you’ve had to wait an hour or more and can’t respond to people checking on you because this app ties up your entire phone. This is my complaint. Otherwise it is easy to use, you can even connect to your Apple Heath (optional) and Drs provide the best service they can remotely.

Can’t reach physician
This is sincerely a great idea, but the app is flawed. I saw a doctor and they stated they were going to call in two prescriptions for me; however I only received one. Because the doctor never completed and sent me a visit summary I can’t send her a message to ask about it. There is also no link for customer support even though the bottom of the FAQs state to contact customer support for other issues. Now I don’t have medicine, I can’t reach the provider, and I haven’t been able to contact customer support. It’s an excellent idea as I am way to sick to get to a doctors office, but there isn’t a way to correct errors.

Good experience with eVisit
I met with Ethan Hersko, PA. He was patient, kind, and thoroughly explained what the likely issues are, the best immediate course of action, as well as the long term recommended follow ups. He checked to make sure I understood and agreed with his treatment plan. The only 'issue' was some slight delays in internet connectivity, which Ethan acknowledged at the beginning and asked for my contact phone in case we lost our connection. Overall I'd recommend MedStar eVisit and specifically PA Ethan Hersko

Wonderful service!
I am grateful for this service because I was not in the position to pay the amount of money urgent care or ER centers charge for out of pocket care. I don’t have insurance and my symptoms were getting worse. For help with common illnesses that are non life threatening and are clear to see, I think this service is perfect and cost effective for people such as myself who want help but can’t afford high priced centers. And the process is easy and smooth. Thank you MED STAR!

Best option
So glad I utilized this option today! I know with everyone running to the urgent cares for COVID19 testing I would have been there forever. And also eliminated risk of coming in contact with others who are much more sick. Also my provider was very pleasant and I did not feel rushed. I would recommend this option to anyone with a minor ailment to utilize this feature !
