NPC For Hire is a story driven aid for GMs that allows you to generate, build, and manage NPCs paired with beautiful hand drawn portraits. GMs will be able to spin up a story that is not only compelling, but will immerse players in a fantasy world with ease.
NPC For Hire includes 58 beautiful human portraits that you can use in your campaigns for free. Additional portraits (including other races) can be purchased to diversify the NPCs that your players come in contact with.
Don't know where to start? Generate an NPC and use it as a launching point to craft a unique and memorable personality for your players.
Already have an NPC in mind? Head to the builder and whip them up and help your players see the NPC as you do.

So I think the concept of this is great and could definitely be expanded as apparently that is happening. The cost of $2.99 per five or ten pack of NPC’s is a little steep... I’d maybe pay $0.99 per pack of ten or $4.99 to unlock all. Half of the purchase-ablepcjs aren’t completed yet so they shouldn’t be for sale at the same price. Maybe tone down the costs to be more affordable vs value is my opinion Many of the
Downloading custom pictures doesn’t allow photo's currently so they have to be some weird image file of which I have none of at the moment. So please add the ability to upload photos from iPhone.

I LOVE this app 🤩
It’s an amazing app! The portraits really get my creativity flowing and the ability to have all my NPCs at my finger tips with a description is exactly the tool I’ve always wanted for DMing. The art is gorgeous and full of personality. The ability to upload custom pictures and save images of your NPC is awesome!! I think the 1 dollar price tag on the character packs is totally fair just keep the portraits coming because some of the packs don’t have many characters in them making them less worth it. But seriously, might be my favorite D&D app, perfect for DMs. I often come up with an idea for NPCs but forget to write it down, with this app I can do it on the fly. I’ve recommended it to all my fellow DMs and would totally recommend it to anyone reading this review!

This app is very useful!
This app has created NPC’s for me on the fly and made my campaigns feel more alive. I do wish there was a feature to create your own “jobs” for labeling. Also it would be nice to save photos you want to reuse within the app. Also a feature to filter what race you would like while randomly generating NPC’s, but that is all stuff that would be nice but the app as is definitely worth the download. Especially if you’re new to DM’ing.

Worth every penny
I am working on a new campaign and I can already tell this will be a crucial tool for me. There’s already so much here to use. If the dev keeps supporting this it will be one of the most useful rpg tools for ipad.
The only feature I would love to see added is the ability to use my own artwork or saved images to custom npc’s. This would ensure zero overlap in pictures. Still, you couldn’t buy this much quality artwork anywhere for $5, and with the added features its beyond a must have. Great work devs!

I love your app and it has proven very helpful in making my campaign, but today when I opened it I found I could not download the dwarf artwork without paying. I bought the app previous to this update, so I’m quite disappointed.
The app pre-update never allowed me to download the dark-elf pack before this either.
In conclusion your app is incredible but I’m hoping that there might be some way to get the artwork without spending any more money. Thank you for this incredible app!

I am hosting a DND campaign and this is such a helpful tool. You can purchase packs that follow a certain plot or idea, but even without purchasing any expansions ,which are only 0.99 each, you still get plenty of options. The auto-generated stories help me with making a new character on the spot. Super helpful and definitely recommend to anyone and everyone! Wonderfully Done.

Great app for DMs
This app is pretty impressive from what I have used it for, it allows you to use pre created NPCs for your campaigns. Even so, allowing you to create your very own NPCs as well.
Note: Races are locked into Character packs that have to be purchased. Which is not an issue, it helps support the app, and keeps it going for everyone to use.
No issues I can see from being able to save my groups including my custom NPCs. Wish I could do a little more with the app if customization for the NPCs.
Otherwise it can be very handy for a DM to keep track of NPCs for campaigns, and help aid adventures as well in their quest.

When I went to download, the app asked me to purchase the free content, but didn’t list a price. I had to ‘buy’ them all

Speaking towards satisfaction with the app after ~1 week and 1 play session... the group loved it. It gave some more personality to my NPCs. Would recommend the app to anyone, especially given the customer service from the devs. Thanks a bunch!

GREAT APP
This app is amazing. You have to pay a little money to expand on the pictures and people, but it is great for having random NPC’s for your campaign, or if you want to create your own campaign it is perfect for creating whole villages if you want. Love this!!

Nice selection and easy usage; purchased packs won’t download
I am enjoying creating NPCs for my upcoming game. However, I have purchased 3 packs and 2 will not download and are inaccessible in the character menu. There are no instructions on how to fix this and so I foresee myself trying for a refund. I would happily change my review if a fix is provided ASAP.
