Very helpful
I have had the app for about 3 weeks and I love it. I have been increasingly use his. I can't think of any other app I have done with except maybe Facebook when I went throught a invalidation phase. I have been in DBT and I know it well. But the videos in this app are awesome and like how they break the skills into digestible pieces. Diary card is very well designed and love the timeline view of entries where I can see everything I've done in one screen. I just shared the app with my therapist and she is excited too. I am able to share my diary card entries via the app (only what I want to share with her) and she sees it on the clinician app in real time. I would pay the subscription fee for this feature alone. I do have a Product / IT background and I know how hard it is to build that. Great job developers - thank you doing this for the DBT community and I hope a lot of them benefit from this.

Most effective app ever but...
I have tried a multitude of apps to help me find hope and healing, and was always disappointed. I have also been disappointed with every mode of therapy in my lifetime except for DBT, so I decided to try out this app just in case it was was helpful (like my DBT courses) After learning the ins and outs of this app, I was relieved to discover that the apps creators know their stuff about DBT!! I love this app-it is BY FAR the most informative, thorough, and interactive tool out there for anyone who is serious about wanting to recover from BPD, anxiety, depression, PTSD, etc. I have been sharing this app as much as I can with my online support communities and platforms.
My one complaint is the price to access the premium version. I find it disconcerting that some of the inaccessible material is access to information when one is in an emergency/crisis. Also, there’s no option to “share” except to a “therapist” which limits growth for the app itself. I have seen many apps with tiered access such as providing users with “pro” access (less expensive option with some unlocked features) as another option or being able to unlock certain features as needed (like 1.99 to unlock each lesson) or being rewarded more access for sharing the app, etc. I KNOW that this app has the potential to save and improve lives. I rarely EVER write reviews, but for this app, I made an exception!

Love this app
I have used DBT Coach for several months now & have really enjoyed this app & it really has helped me & helped to keep me more in track. There are a lot of things available for free in the app. It’s not an app that lies about being free to use. Most apps say free or in-app purchases but in-app purchases can mean anything. They do have to charge for premium features - given what it takes to build an app like this. A session of DBT therapist is $180 / hr. I will gladly spend this money on the app and have access to it for 18 months. I do see a therapist regularly and share my data with the therapist and both of us recognize how much this app has helped in my progress. I usually don't write reviews, but given how responsive their customer support was (when I had a sharing issue), I had to give them a shout out. I make a prediction here that this app may become THE BEST MENTAL HEALTH APP

Saved my life
I’ve gone to DBTS programs before and they were so disorganized and didn’t really help me understand WHY DBT works for my behaviors. I didn’t see how it could help me. But then I took a chance on this app. The video about how DBT works changed my life completely. I finally understood what DBT and why it works. The lessons are quick and digestible and so incredibly applicable. The exercises enable me to practice my skills IMMEDIATELY which is so much better than having to refer to the original paper handouts that easily get lost. The journal entry is so helpful to keep track of practicing my skills and being able to share it with my therapist has been exceptionally helpful. I absolutely love this app and would definitely be using it when I become a therapist in the future. Thank you so much Swasth!

Saved my life!
This app was there when I wasn’t yet diagnosed with panic attacks and BPD. I was so worried I was dying And the doctors couldn’t yet tell me what exactly was going on. I learned to do DBT reading online and also through the app. The app is like having a DBT counselor on your phone available 24 seven. The meditations are amazing and they bring me to a sense of calm. Identifying mine traps and working through those has been an amazing tool that I use every day. Positive visualization has helped tremendously. When I’m at work or at home I can always rely on the app to help me through my panic attacks. I huge thank you to all those who are involved in creating DBT Coach and making sure it runs smoothly. The updates have been awesome to watch as well.

Great app however a couple changes will improve significantly
This is app is great for walking through the skills.
This is the only DBT app I have used where I had been walked through a skill.
I wish there was a way to edit the entries or start a skill and come back to it. The first skill I used was Values to Action. The app asked me to fill out the same things I would have done in AM group which would be done first thing in the morning to have a set practice for the day; values, goals, steps. The remaining questions were things like, did I achieve my goals, what steps did I take? Etc. I skipped through those to complete the entry as I had not even begun the day to be able to answer those questions.

This app would be perfect if there was a way to go back and complete the entry at the end of the day so I could actually be able to complete the entry properly.

Excellent, packed with tons of fun and useful features
This is by far the best DBT app I have tried. I love the exercises and lessons and I use them to practice skills and also as a distraction/reminder when I need to calm down. I love that you can journal at the end of the diary card, and the sliding scale for tracking urges/actions. There are a few typos here and there, and I would like if it was a little more affordable. However, overall the app is packed with so many really helpful and useful features that it’s worth the cost for me at this point in my recovery and I plan to keep it going. It’s the most similar to the official DBT workbook that I have found and I HIGHLY recommend it. Thank you so much for making this great app.

Changed my life
Firstly thanks to DBT for having saved my life. Now this app helps me to build a life worth living. I use the diary card morning and night without fail. The summary screen is great to see how I am progressing and the correlations help me on what helped in the past. I keep refreshing my skills by watching the videos on my way to work in train. I just saw that they introduced community / peer groups. I am very excited about this since I can discuss DBT skills with peers rather than a open forum like FB. I used to do the worksheets on paper by photocopy the workbook. Doing the exercises every week really helps me to put DBT skills to use on an ongoing basis. This is by far the best app I have ever used. 5+ stars for sure ...

Everything I need
I downloaded several DBT apps and after trying them all decided this was the one best suited for me. I love that it gives you a baseline PHQ-9 and Anxiety inventory. I also like that it asks you about skills used and provides in depth explanations of the skills for newbies like myself, or for those who need to be reminded about the purpose of each skill and how to use it. The ability to personalize your activities, journal your day, and add photos, video and music to your daily journal is also a major bonus. I’ve already purchased the full version and am excited to have an amazing tool to help me along my DBT journey.

Love it but would like to see a few things added
I love using this app - compared to the last one I was using, it’s got a way better interface and I love how it can be interactive if you want. One thing I would love to see is to be able to program email addresses (in my case individual and DBT group therapists) so that sending the week’s diary card is fast and easy. The last “DBT” app I was using - hated the interface but it was so easy to send a clean, clear summary of my daily diary cards for that week. In DBT coach, typing all their email addresses each time is time consuming and annoying. Hope to see some new sleek integrations with sharing the diary card summary!
