Handy Dictionary App
In general, this dictionary is quite good. The developers have made excellent changes to the interface over the years, and the meanings provided are usually quite accurate.
My one complaint is that I could often achieve the same results by looking a word up on William Whitaker's Words, so
having an additional app on my phone sometimes seems unnecessary. Perhaps a broader list of meanings would help.

Uses Google Translate
Uses Google translate... Google translate has a Latin word for air plain, rocket ship, Television and many other modern words. It is also always wrong. If you use this as a speaking tool you will sound like a moron and if you use this for a class you will fail. This app isn't worth the storage it takes up on my phone and my phone has 125 GB. The developers are idiots.

The dictionary has most words but more could be added. The synonyms are useful. The translator needs work. It is wrong most of the time.

It dousn't have every word but if just need to check a few words here and there it will be ok. It usually cannot handle phrases so don't expect it to do the work for you. Also if you complain keep in mind you only spent a few dollars. If you want a great dictionary buy a book.

It is something like dictionary
Nowadays anybody and his brother gets into the business of being lexicographer. This is a result of such an effort! Alas the outcome is far from being adequate, or passable. It is not a dictionary, it is not even an idioms dictionary, it is something I have struggled to define it but failed.
The only good thing about it, it is cheap, akin to $1.99 gadget if it does not deliver what it promises you throw it away, and no big loss!
But, I believe time is also should be part of this equation. You buy it, install it, try to work it eventually it is a big disappointment

Disappointed in audio and cost
For those of you that say this is great for the price, I disagree. I can go online and get much better quality, content with audio for free, but was hoping for something more portable. Downloaded app to find that the audio was an additional $2. Then, after downloading a massive file, I was shocked to learn that "Susan" only speaks English. So, those that would like to hear the Latin word, like me, you're out of luck. Very disappointing.

OK app, don't buy voice upgrade
The app works fairly well, but some of the features are not good at all. Do not spend $1.99 for the pronunciation upgrade because it only provides English pronunciation on the translation screen even when you switch languages as directed by the app. Please fix and I'll rate 5 stars!

A supurb series of foreign- language dictionaries
BitKnights has put out a wonderful series of language dictionaries at a wonderful price. I use a number of them on a regular basis and could not be more pleased. Highly recommended!
