The Naval Historian,
Quite nice, slight historical inaccuracy
First I will this is VERY fun. The campaigns are hard and it takes me a while, but it’s fun. I’ve had this game for a year or so and it’s five stars. There are in inaccuracies. For example, the battle of the pyramids. You say there were 40 thousand Mamelukes. There were, but only 21 thousands participated. Most of the campaigns are inaccurate in there number of troops on each side. Also, the map is not quite accurate. I love the napoleonic wars and study them constantly. I do think the Old Guard should be less, and it would be fun if you added the Middle and Young Guard. Also, nations do multiply there troops very fast. Last thing. North Africa wouldn’t of three or four nations it would of been the Barbary States. They were there own county’s. This includes the the nations of Tunis, Tripoli, and others. The Ottomans were not french allies after 1798. Also, in 1812 you put troops in Russia for the invasion. You should put more troops there. And, in 1798 put troops in Egypt for the French campaign. And my biggest complaint is that the army’s don’t follow the tactics of the time. They make infantry squares or make cavalry charges. If you make them do that then 10 stars. Thank you for a great game.

Suggestion: New Special Unit
You have added the Campaign of the American Revolution. Nice. But, we can take it a step further. A new special unit known as the American Militia. It has the exact same weapons, offensive/defensive damages, and everything else of Dominion Militia in Canada, but different units will either have brown or blue uniforms. Also, American Militia has high morale under an AMERICAN General and low morale under a BRITISH/CANADIAN General. Their morale will not change under any other General, but their damage will increase a little bit under a FRENCH General. The American Militia will be more useful than normal Militia in offensives, as their one of their special attacks (or whatever you call it) is charge. Charge is when they run into the enemy at top speed, and giving the enemy low morale, and if successful, EXTREMELY low health. That combined with a French General is overpowered against AI. Also, for fairness, the American Militia will not be used in Multiplayer unless someone spawns in a Dominion Militia from Canada (which for now is impossible).
NolanKlem,
These games changed my life
I was 9 years old when I played my first European war game (The third installment) and I loved it, and had never played anything like it before. In the 5 years since then I have played every one of your military strategy games. I begun to notice how intriguing the missions were (Tannenburg campaign, Jutland, austerlitz, etc) and I suddenly became interested in history. These games are so perfectly crafted with the right amount of difficulty and strategic test. Now I can be classified as a history nerd (good thing) and my classmates always ask my help with understanding politics during WW1 and The Cold War when our teacher gives them too little information. (I even realized that she got the starting date of WW1 off by three days 😂) The point is, if I had never discovered these games I probably would never have this passion for history and wouldn’t be the person I am today. So thank you!
nohtimir,
Annoyingly difficult, and disappointed.
I’m quite disappointed and unsatisfied that I payed one dollar for this. Even in the first levels of the campaign, or conquest, it is literally impossible to play the game, every singe unit is immediately more powerful than you, none of this is based on skill or strategic movement. If any of you want the same setting with this (I don’t know why the devs picked this theme again) go to European War 4, it’s a lot more addictive and free to play, allowing you to easily grind materials without having to put up much fuss.

And to the developers
I request you stop making these garbage P2W games, we want your original and best content, not the same reused setup with some sprinkles on it. I’ll gladly pay money for one of your games but if you want me to keep playing, or, even your entire fan base, I suggest you do something which doesn’t make me have to pay iap to enjoy it. I understand you need to make revenue somehow, but you must balance between player enjoyment, satisfaction, etc etc and the price you set for it.
SweatBandMafia,
European war changes
The game is pretty good I like playing it buh and one and two star country stop massing producing units that I can’t deal with Nd cavs and artillery with general units are spawning in regular cities like Philip and Murat and mortier and some time the games feel impossible to win u can’t have Naples and sardiniana and Denmark spam units like Britain and France do Nd why is Austria so dirt Nd why was a non infranty units spawning in cities buh overall they game is good it jus needs changes

To the creators of this game I beg u tone down the actually strength of the cpu cuz it’s impossible to play Nd forget about winning when I play as France I get smack my Prussia only if I’m Russia I get smacked by the ottomans it’s like if I play as Prussia France beats me in 20 rounds but when I play as France I lose in 45 rounds and plz tone down the spamming of units cuz Italy or Sardinia shouldn’t be able to spam and look like the have the finances of Britain Russia or France and make Denmark less power making them look like Germany in ww2 like fix ur game!! Btw Mexico was at war with American in 1812 or 1815🥱😂
Plz and thx
Robin Williams the 5th,
More Generals in the Future possibly?
I have been playing the game for a few months now, and I have had a lot of fun in its play style. I like how the Game rewards people about how they play with Generals and other rewards for the system. While the game has plenty of Generals as well as several parts including stuff in 1870 and up in some scenarios for Generals. I was wondering if it would be possible in the future to see more Civil War and Crimean War Generals Such as George Henry Thomas, Lewis Armistead, Philip Sheridan, James Longstreet, William T Sherman, John Bell Hood, and Winfield Scott Hancock? Again I understand if it’s not possible to add anymore to the list. The game all round is good, and has an excellent system of player rewards. Other than that request I have nothing else of note for you all. Thanks for making such a wonderful game, and keep on making more.
Critic 141,
I’ve been a long time fan, this game is great, but...
I have played ET games for a long time now, EW4 is by far my favorite. I have a few suggestions for EW6 that I’d like to be considered,
1) Enemy countries spam too many units, it makes taking cities incredibly difficult when they multiply like rabbits.
2) Improve the guide. Tell us how combat mechanics work so we can understand the game better.
3) Make armies regenerate over time like EW4
4) these are some personal suggestions:
- EW4 had a Europe map that looked mostly correct and undistorted, it would be great if EW6 didn’t have such distorted map, but its probably too late to make such a huge change, which is alright.
- Suvorov is regarded as the equal of Napoleon or even better by Clausewitz, Moreau, Macdonald, and Nelson. It would be awesome if the game reflected this and gave Suvorov better stats, he is worse than Wellington which does not make much sense... Suvorov deserves to have a total battle ability and infantry ability equal to Napoleons combined battle and artillery ability. EW4 got Suvorov right, It’d be nice to see EW6 continue this respect for history.
- I know you can’t survive without income, but make it easier to grind for medals, I can’t keep buying them all the time and I don’t have 4 hours a day to grind for 100 medals in that span of time.

Thanks ET for the great game and all the fun I had near the end of my childhood, continue to make great games!
DeathTank872,
One of ET’s Best
This game was well worth the long wait since it’s announcement.

The map feels more alive with its visual effects, yet still maintains that old-school feel. Combat is a good challenge as what seems like a simple campaign mission can turn into a satisfyingly lengthy war of attrition that can only be won by persistance and usage of actual strategy.

Conquests are more fleshed out, thanks to a diplomacy system that allows one to either bribe enemy states into entering the conflict at a later turn or persuade friendly states to join the war earlier. Like the campaigns, fighting can quickly boil down to a war of attrition, requiring persistance and good use of resources to win.

Challenges offer additional campaign missions covering more conflicts from the era (French Revolutionary Wars, German Unification Wars, etc.) alongside special missions that grant discounts for Generals. It is here that “tasks” return, offering medals and gold in exchange for sending your Generals on off-screen missions.

Overall, ET have certainly made another masterpiece. After the mess that was European War 5, ET managed to make a big comeback with WC4 and especially EW6.

I look forward to future ET games, especially if we see a return to the World War I era. Heck, even a game set in the Modern Day (1980s-2010s) would be absolutely awesome!
SodaMan477,
Some Pros Some Cons
I’ll start off by saying I LOVE the European war series I feel with every game easy inc improves with graphics or some other aspect I personally like EW4 the most but, this is a great game. I will show a couple pros and cons.

PROS
. Graphics: this game is beautiful and a very nice when it comes to its commander portraits

. New features: Diplomacy in this game is a nice touch, and very useful if you want to help your allies

CONS

. Difficulty: I feel this game is way to difficult, your enemies seem to have unlimited resources and generals that seem to have a huge damage modifier and I doesn’t matter which country you play as, this is especially apparent in conquest.

. Medals: Now I have no problem paying to get medals in easy inc games as I often spend to get generals in EW4, but there you get a decent amount of medals based on your effort but because of my previously mentioned problem getting 3 stars let alone beating the mission is borderline impossible and you don’t get a lot of medals if you barely scrape by with 1 star which puts you at an even bigger disadvantage in the future.

Overall, I think this is a decent game, personally I don’t think it’s easy inc’s best but it still deserves a try and if easy inc could at least lower the difficulty, I feel EW6 could be a revolutionary strategy game, but if you are willing to put up with it’s insane difficulty it’s a great game!
Kk+killer,
Great game
I've been reading a lot of the critical reviews with people saying that the enemy alliance are always more powerful than you and that it is impossible to win in conquest but I have won conquest as like 12 different nations some of these nations more than twice and I have put 0 money into the game and only have been playing for a year for an hour or two every day. The trick to winning in conquest is being patient(since you have to grind in campaign sometimes, having good strategy, doing as much campaign missions as you can so you can earn medals and coins for updating and getting generals and items, and updating your troops and also doing challenges a lot . I Recommend this game. It is super fun since you get to use some cool generals and use strategy.
