Bring back the pre-update version!!!
Before this latest update the app and my gear worked flawlessly. Now I have lost most, if not all control of 24 Freedom Par Hex4’s and on multiple occasions, because the uplighting package we promised is now busted, refunded clients their money- and feel like an idiot. No response from Chauvet tech support either. I hope to God that before someone downloads the update they by some good fortune read these reviews and it stops them from updating. Thanks for nothing, Chauvet.

Flawless prior to update
You shouldn’t need to pay for additional gear to make something work that had been working flawlessly. This app update is not intuitive whatsoever. With the new update that isn’t compatible with the FlareCON1, how are we to control our fixtures? Chauvet rolled out the new update over the holidays and they are leaving mobile DJs and gigers stranded with their gear. No information how to program. Nothing online. A non intuitive bandaid update on an otherwise straightforward app.

PLEASE GET TBE OLD VERSION BACK
I got 120 up lights and I been using the old version and it saves me 30 minutes of turning on the up lights because since the app updated I had every time to turn on my up lights manually and I work for events and it takes me 45 minutes to turn on the lights manually. The old version would take me 10-15 minutes to be done with the up lights. Please get back the old version.

Unusable
Before the update my setup was working just fine. Now with this update I can't get it to do anything. I've quadruple checked my Flarecon Air 2 and fixture settings and everything is setup as needed, but for whatever reason with this update I can't get the app to do anything with my lights anymore. There's no mention in the manual on how to resolve this in the app and now my entire wireless rig isn't functional.

Awful update
Chauvet, you just screwed every gigging DJ in town. The app is not user friendly, does not connect to flarecon, and now leaves me at gigs with zero control of my lights. Zero warning zero troubleshooting zero solutions. Absolutely awful!!! And you won’t get held accountable because you already have all our money!! You already know with the amount of gigs I’ve been screwed over now, I’m taking my business elsewhere.

3.0 is awful!
This completely new version was dropped with zero warning and more importantly zero customer guidance on how to use the new version. I am at a gig right now with zero clue how to use this software. As mentioned on the other review; does this work with the Flarecon Air 1 box? I have searched all over the internet and there is absolutely no information to figure out this hot mess. Thanks Chauvet!

We had a good run you and I, I’ve been a Mobile Dj since 2005, I would rather run 16 DMX cables, 16 IEC cords, and a ADJ DMX controller, than mess with this app again. It will make you look like a fool. The older app had no delay, this new app has a major delay going on and that’s if you get them to connect. it’s very hard to sell uplighting when they don’t work correctly.

New App is Garbage
For years I have been gigging use my uplights and changing lights with the app. Now I can’t even connect. Please go back to the old app. Some of us mobile Dj’s are missing out on Dollars. The new App is Garbage. You all could have us the option to upgrade to the new app or leave our old app running PLEASE CHANGE IT BACK

What happened?
This app used to work perfectly at all gigs. Never had an issue. Out of no where it’s not longer connecting. We have showed up at gigs expecting lights and lost out on $$ because it won’t connect. Why is this no longer working??????
