I really appreciate Magoosh for respecting my time. I’m in my 40’s, single mom, 2 kids, etc. so I needed a get-to-the-point GMAT study app that I can easily pop on for a few minutes here and there. Magoosh also doesn’t use a bunch of jargon-y terms unless understanding them is needed for the test and then the jargon is translated into layman’s terms. This is what we do in medicine all the time but for some reason I hear business people using jargon as if it’s to their advantage to speak a different language which is confusing for those of us without a business background.

47 Year Old Taking the GMAT
I am currently studying for the exam. Initially, I chose a top-rated review program that is very expensive. I wish I had run across Magoosh initially. The Magoosh course seems to be offering more of what I need for the GMAT as a professional person (not currently in the business arena)who graduated from high school in 1990. Mainly, math is taught quite different compared to 30 years ago. The individual videos for each math topic have been most beneficial for me. Thank you, Magoosh.

Great but...
Great content, I like it better than Manhattan Prep which just drowns you with details and practice, but the app is lacking features that the web version has that are vital to studying. When you click practice problems it does not give you the option to filter by topic or category it’s just all math questions or all verbal questions in random order. That makes it impossible to practice specific topics on your mobile device. I know the database is there so it shouldn’t be difficult to add that feature that just seems like a huge miss that every other app has addressed already.
Also you must be connected to the internet which is not an issue for me most of the time but can be a huge issue for some.

Excellent app- esp for on the go
Absolutely love the app. I can watch videos on the go, read blog posts etc. And practice questions on the go (with some helpful stats that come from those) as well. Well designed app and great content. Definitely worth the full version and I would even say it’s better than the other popular programs, especially for learning content.

Thank you, Magoosh!! I’m a 33 year old mom and was nervous to take the GMAT after being out of school so long. I crammed for 2 weeks straight using this app and felt like the voice of the math-man was my new best friend. I can’t believe the quality of this free content. I just got my scores back and made a 760. Couldn’t have done it without Magoosh!!

Great company & awesome product
One suggestion I’d have for the iPhone app is to send us back to the question where you first clicked to read say a blog link. Doing so now makes user exit to app home page instead of back to question review, where you initially clicked url.

Great App
I really enjoy the videos. This app makes confusing topics easy to understand, which greatly helps my study time and I feel more confident when the practice questions come up. I will definitely recommend this app to anyone and everyone preparing for he GMAT.

Would be perfect with a few tweaks
The ability to download the videos for offline use would be great so I could study when I don’t have an internet connection. Also some of the info doesn’t display “below the video” on the app as it does on the computer. Developers should work to make the app have the full functionality as the website.

Magoosh is Superb!
Hard to believe that the APP is free despite of its exceptionally well-made contents. The instruction videos are broken down to small sessions by different topics, from 2-20 minutes. One can just go to the topics of their focus or go with the sequence.
I have been using the app for some time. Each day after work I learn something on the APP and then practice a little bit.
I feel confident that after some more learning, I can do a few practice exams, and I will get a pretty high score on GMAT.
