Great game but really really really frustrating
This is the best golf game on the App Store no question. However… the tournaments that require tickets to enter can be infuriating. For a few reasons. For instance, sometimes even if I birdie 5 of 6 holes in a tournament I can still lose because an AI eagles and hole in ones the last two holes (which has happened numerous times) out of nowhere. I love that this game is challenging but sometimes it’s a bit ridiculous. My only other issue and the reason I’m even writing a review is because I grinded and played a great round to just pull off a 1st place at sunset valley which is a tough course and costs 15 tickets to play. Following my win I clicked “OPEN CHEST” only for me to receive ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I’m not sure if this is a glitch or what but I am fuming over it. To sum everything up this is a great game and I’ve recommended it to all my friends and I will definitely continue to play. I just hope the issues I mentioned are addressed. P.S, I’ve never written a review before but this game deserves one and 5 stars because you’ve finally given me a good golf game to play on my phone. And I thank you for that :)

Great game but…
I absolutely love this game. I do not typically enjoy mobile games but I particularly enjoy this game. Love all the courses and the dynamics and function the game provides but however I find the game to be a little too challenging when it comes to the AI. I’m all for a game the provides a fair but fun bit of obstacle but it’s mildly frustrating how unpredictable the AI can score on tournaments. It has happened multiple times where I think I’m comfortably in the lead and all of sudden the 2 different AI’s eagle or hole in one to beat me. I wish the AI was not as hard or it would be a little easier to acquire chests for better clubs and upgrade your clubs. It’s hard to get tickets when the AI’s play like prime tiger on the last hole. Other than that I really love the game and will continue to play it despite the frustration

Ticketed Tourneys Broken
RP points system broken. Scored four birdies with a match win, which based on scoring should have netted +220 RP (200 for win + 5 for each birdie). Only received +190.
LOVE this game and have been playing non-stop. Bots need to be more predictable (I.e. more challenging in tougher tournaments). They are all over the place. Sometimes they shoot 1 under, sometimes they shoot 5 under. No rhyme or reason, kind of like real golf, but VERY frustrating when you have to win so many tournaments to get enough tickets to play the “ticketed tournaments” with chests. Once you get enough to enter, you could win by shooting 2 under, or with that same score could end up getting crushed by the randomized AI. Time, effort, and skill should reward chests, not randomization. Also, you should get chests for winning ranked matches online. It takes FOREVER, to unlock new clubs and upgrade even the basic ones. Need more opportunities outside weekly events and single player tourneys to unlock new clubs.

Editing a previous review. This is a fun golf game with interesting physics, and it looks great. But it has serious inconsistencies that make it unplayable after the first couple of hours.
Even if you play a course for a whole day, you will never get better at it. The wind is unpredictable and you cannot drive against it; sometimes the wind speed and direction actually pushes the ball how it should, and other times the same exact wind will do almost nothing. The same goes for putting - there is no way to improve other than guesswork on your next trajectory and putting speed.
You should be able to fast-forward during shots, or at least pause and quit. I have no idea why the pause button disappears as a ball is in the air because you know when it's a bad shot, and nobody wants to stand around waiting for it to stop to restart. There's a lot of restarting in this game since the courses become borderline impossible to win as you get better.
The game is rigged against you. It looks pretty and plays well, but it's still a money-maker. They want you to give up and pay for tickets so you can upgrade your clubs (because you will grind forever to earn them for free). This is no better than those lazy pay-to-play apps with a bit of soft art and sound design.
It's not worth the frustration. Until they address some issues and balance the game to curb the difficulty wall you will hit, I quit.

It's not worth the frustration. Until they address some issues and balance the game to curb the difficulty wall you will hit, I quit.

Best golf game no question
This game is truly amazing and I can’t wait to see how much better the game could get over time. There’s a whole lot of amazing things in the game and it is really such a enjoyable experience to play. I have a few recommendations and other things I’d like to mention. I’d like to see more clubs being added. Tbh the rarity of the clubs dosent even matter cuz the gold ones are literally the same, stats wise, as the other clubs. Also the different putter options are pointless cuz they don’t have any perk. One more thing is the swipe meter. When I swing with some of my irons when I go into a full backswing and I swipe my finger really hard the results will still sometimes be really low shot speeds and my ball ends up in the water/ bunker. Overall

MORE CONTENT PLEASE!!!
Firstly, this is the best golf game on the App Store right now without question. However, after spending nearly 100 hours playing the game IT NEEDS MORE CONTENT!!!!
Please please please add some more courses!! I am aware this takes a very long time to do so don’t rush or anything but the game definitely has grown a bit stale playing the same few holes over and over. I’d also love to see something to grind for added to the game, like maybe cosmetics or a campaign/season mode. I am the max rank in online play, and frequently finish in the top 5 of the weekly league. After doing all of this it seems I’ve run out of reasons to keep playing the game as I have 5 stared all of the courses and everything. We need more achievements or things to unlock to keep us playing!

Unsettling
I don’t know how to feel about this game, i love the concept and idea and i’ve spent countless hour on the game! My problem comes to the game not really being that accurate! there are many factors don’t get me wrong such as the wind, the club choice, the club shot. BUT numerous times i have hit a perfect shot and it falls 30-40 yards short! i do not understand how this is possible and would seriously like to know! i spent money on the game too just to support the creators and inevitably the game is still flawed! the chests take way to long to get also, unless you spend and unreasonably long amount of time you can never get the best clubs! like i said i really want to like this game but they do not give you accurate readings at all, sometimes even the greens will have invisible movement. Lastly the way the ball bounces makes no sense! if it hits a hill it should not be able to just keep rolling at full speed!

Golf Dreams Review
This game is overall really fun, however, Every time I win an open tournament, I get 0 tickets. I can’t get into an invitational to even try to get a chest. In fact I haven’t been able to open a single chest for the 3 months that I have been playing this game. It’s really annoying. I don’t know if this is happening to anyone else but it’s to me. If this is an actual glitch and I’m not just doing something wrong, please fix this as soon as possible. It’s ruining the incentive to earn a reward I would probably have top level stuff from chests if I actually received them. All in all, this game is awesome but please fix this 0 ticket bug. Thank you.

Great game besides a few inconsistencies
Everything about this game is nice and simple and I have nothing bad to say about it besides a few things that are inconsistent that can really mess up your experience.
The wind speed and swing speed are two things I’ve noticed that never seem to have a consistent effect despite showing different numbers, which can really aggravate you if you are used to hitting the ball one way against 7 mph wind then all of a sudden that same 7 mph acts like 14.
I really hope the developers can work with these inconsistencies as it seems I’m not the only one experiencing them. It would also be nice to add a power meter to help gauge distance when chipping/putting/etc. With all of that said I still think it’s a great game to pass the time.

Garbage
I don’t know who is rating this game so high but it’s complete nonsense. The ball will bounce directly sideways into a hazard. The green reading couldn’t be more inaccurate. It’s just a guessing game anytime you have to hit a shot less than 100%. The wind sometimes moves your ball and sometimes it doesn’t. Unlocking clubs is impossible because you have to play multiple rounds just to earn tickets and even after you have to finish first just to get a few cards to possibly upgrade clubs. And upgrading clubs then sets your bag all out of sorts in that some shorter irons will then go further just because they’re upgraded before others. My 3 iron goes further than my driver. Playing against people online they either shoot -8 or +12, no in between. So many things to fix in this game. If you’re rating it 5 stars you are clueless.
