Love this game!!!!
I love this game !!! And love the fact that he is actually giving away a wonderful trip to hopefully this single mama and her best friend! But just for playing the game! I myself am going to stick to playing the game even if I don’t win! Only because it is actually fun! I can match and have fun with my ocd 🤣. And not to mention the whole design of the game and the fact that I can design in the game! I mean how cool! Not trying to sound like a tv commercial here! I am NOT a paid actor or anything , I am a down to earth woman and when I am trying to unwind from a long day of four kids and one with cerebral palsy and autism it’s a lot! So this game just does it for me! And to you moms with your hands full but likes to cook likes to design , or who likes to match and be ocd and just escape reality! Here’s the game for you guys and dads this goes for you too! This game definitely is not sexist or anything like that! It’s caters to all types ! Another reason to just check out the game! Im tell you guys it’s one you won’t delete off your phone! You though candy crush was stuff im telling you, that you will love this game 10x more!

My life will never be the same
I got this game a couple months ago because I love Gordon Ramsay. Since then, it has completely taken over my life. I spend most of my free time playing Chef Blast and dream of it when I sleep. I am unable to do any task without playing Chef Blast simultaneously. This has costed me my personal relationships, since I often play while people are talking to me. I send my best friend mean messages daily to pressure her into sending me a life and feel real jealousy when said friend gets unlimited lives. I put an app limit for 22 minutes a day to try to fix my situation, but it actually has just added an inconvenience of having to press “Ignore limit for today” every day. I am writing this to seek support for my friend and I and to warn others of how different their lives will look once they download Chef Blast. I could not recommend a game more.

Frustrating!!
Hi! I normally don’t really leave reviews but I’ve never been more frustrated with a game in my entire life! I’ll breeze through 20 levels no problem without having to use any of my special items however I’ll get stuck on 1 level that only gives me 16 moves and I can never beat it because the blocks aren’t in my favor! It’s extremely frustrating because I’ve used ALL of my specialty items and it still comes down to the fact that I run out of moves! This game is very unforgiving if the blocks are not aligned the way you need, especially if the level requires you to have to open doors using a specific color but you only have 8 spots to do that and majority of the space is begin occupied by the colors you DON’T NEED. This definitely normally wouldn’t be a problem but the fact that I’ve breezed through over 40 of my specialty items that I never used and I STILL can’t beat the level cuz I’ve run out of moves is very VERY frustrating! It is a really fun game but it has major flaws.

Unplayable but a lot of potential
Straight to the point, the game is unplayable. It can be super fun at times but lets take a look at an example, sometimes you’ll get a level with 30 moves+ when you don’t need the 30 moves, then gives you 17 or 20 moves on levels that are nearly impossible. 20 moves seems like a lot, but the random generator is unfair, you need to be super lucky in where the blocks land and what color they are, most of the time I’m popping blocks that I don’t need too but have to because their the only blocks I can pop. And the requirements on some of these levels are insane, I have to get certain amount of berries and onions at the same time, I basically need to get super luck and get a bunch of rockets facing down in a specific place which is impossible with the random block generator!! If the game wasn’t luck based, easily a 5 star game. Right now, I would rate it 3.5 not 4. Thanks for your time.

Cooking Game
So I just got this game on my phone I figured it would be fun and I’m the type of person who watches a lot of cooking shows including Gordon’s shows. But now… seeing him animated and hearing his voice come out of an animated character I want to laugh at the animated Gordon. I can’t take animated Gordon seriously. I’m sorry but I can’t. Seeing him animated is funny at least to me. But I would highly recommend this game. So far it really seems fun.
The only thing I would change is the option to move the blocks because it would make certain levels easier in my opinion. Your probably saying “can’t you move the blocks in the game?” Yes and no. You can only move them a certain way but I think it would be a good idea to be able to have the ability to move the blocks back and forth and swap with other blocks you know stuff like that.
The only thing I would change is the option to move the blocks because it would make certain levels easier in my opinion. Your probably saying “can’t you move the blocks in the game?” Yes and no. My Opinion WOW REAL RECIPES AS REWARDS!!!
First of all Id like to say, this game is worth it!!! The fact that you get real recipes that Gordon has made! with very detailed instructions. So fun to play when I am bored, the game isn’t very challenging, but I am only on level 12, and downloaded it about 5-10 minutes ago, though I won’t complain, I enjoy getting the recipes faster! I always wanted to cook recipes Gordon has made! And this is a good start to help me so that! I don't care what anyone says this is a wonderful game that I personally enjoy! I never left a Apple review in my whole life until now. I love this game I hope it continues to upgrade with more recipes in the future and maybe holiday/seasonal recipes too! :) thanks for this wonderful game Gordon! I can now challenge my cooking skills the way I want to with your delicious recipes!

I really love this game and the way you guys add and incorporate new foods and cooking utensils. Not to mention REAL RECIPES!! I love that!! My only critique would be that you guys are slow to keep up with the levels. While playing stages you don’t have the ability to upgrade your kitchen or win bonus prizes every ten levels. And sometimes that last for weeks. Also the way the game combines all the special combos into one big blow out (if they’re next to each other) is a little unfair because I don’t get to choose how I want to use it. Sometimes I need the arrow with the chili and not the bomb or sometimes I just need the bomb and the arrow without the chili etc. (just a few examples) that happens a lot. You guys made it so certain specialities trump others no matter what, but the need for a particular combination varies with each level. Other than that I enjoy, it’s my go to game for sure.

Expecting bigger tournament payout!
So… my team won and got first place in a tournament, and all we were given was a messily couple of coins. Not to sound ungrateful or anything, but I was expecting a bigger payout with 20 extra lives, 20 extra hammers, peelers, knifes, whisks, rockets, bombs, and jalapeños! My team and I went all out using all of that stuff to get top position, and I was expecting to be awarded graciously for it. PLUS, EVERYTIME I closed my eyelids for whatever reason, all I saw were blocks. I couldn’t even have a decent dream or thought because there they were those darn blocks, and me trying to form jalapeños out of them when I wasn’t even playing the game. Then I would send text messages and think that I was using up moves. No, I wasn’t using any drugs. The game and reality just got a little blurred. I wasted good sleep and thoughts all for a few coins won at the tournament. How can anyone compete at the tournament anymore, if the levels are harder? The only people that have a real shot are people who are barley starting off. Good luck, but I’m done with it.

Keeps taking me back to levels I already completed
I love this game, but I have a constant problem where I’ll beat 30-40 levels and the next time I load the app it takes me back to where I was the last time I played. I’m connected to wifi and have the save game feature on, but it happens every time. For example, last night I started at level 113 in the Culinary Genius league, and stopped at level 125. This morning I opened the app and it was back at level 113! I played for a while, using power-ups and coins and extra lives, and stopped at level 149. I just opened the game again and I’m back at 113! It’s unbelievably frustrating!!
Update: I played from 113 again to level 153 last night and then left the game. I opened it again today and I’m back at 127!!! This is absolutely ridiculous! Im wasting coins, extra lives, and sometimes money on this!

Deleting this app until it has some serious work done
This game is so frustrating for no reason, I have seen quite a couple other 1 stars I think are deserved,reviews saying the same thing, it’s a great idea that you can unlock recipes and I really like that aspect… but this game is such a frustrating disappointment as not only do they never give you enough moves.. (BUT THE SINGLE Blocks!!) the levels are physically impossible to complete because of the horrible selection of the cubes you are given. They give no moves to play because they are randomly unplayable colored blocks, and you can’t get any peppers or bombs cause the blocks are all separate and they are no way to get powerups unless you play like 20 levels to get 150 coins that don’t even help with 2 levels, I really like the aspect of the recipes but I will be deleting this game because it’s unplayable and unable to advance further… really takes the fun out of this game so I will be removing it.. which is sad because it has potential…
