I’ve been playing this game for quite a while now, and right now, I’m on my way to maximizing my last “paid” hero, Cinder. I think the game has gone so far now from what it was before, and that it is much better now.

Customer support is also very prompt and very helpful in responding to your inquiries. Sometimes it gets boring, because I can’t do anything else in the game (five starred all maps, maximum upgrade for all towers, plus 1.3M in coins, 700+ gems), but so far, I just push to collect more, so when the next update comes up where I can spend all these resources, I can spend all of it to upgrade. During special events, since I only get general stash as I have all the rewards already (heroes and tower mods), I play mostly to see what tower mods I can get some more.

Please continue to do well in this game. Thank you for making it enjoyable for me, and others.

You will spend more time watching 45-second ads than playing the game, assuming you don't shell out houndreds of dollars to buy crystals to skip the ads. In order to progress, outside of the game levels you will have to upgrade your towers, so they cost fewer resources while playing levels, etc. There's a countdown timer for how long it will be before those upgrades will be ready, and those countdowns end up being DAYS (literally). You can chop chunks off of the countdowns by watching ads ("watch an ad to remove 3 hours from the countdown"), and you'll have to watch 30+ ads per upgrade pretty quickly. For most of the time you have this app open, you will be starting ads, then waiting 45 seconds so you can close the ad, and then starting another. The game plays shorter ones at the very start just so you get used to it, but they quickly switch to the longer ones. The game itself is fun, but you can't overlook the fact that you will spend more time watching ads than playing levels. The graphics are a lot better than many other tower defense games in the app store, which is nice, but you should seriously consider whether it will be worth it to you to even download the game, because you will sincerely spend less time playing than watching ads. I recommend you don't even download this. Don't even try it out for the first few levels. Just skip this game.

The game is essentially a cash grab and abandoned. Though as many people report of being too Grindy and such, there is a loophole. All you need is to have a Facebook account in the game to save your data, then you’re all set. In order to do this, you need to delete the game and redownload it, and once your do, make sure to play through the tutorial and first 3 levels of the game so you can get everything you need before the game allows you to have access to the “Facebook” connect button. By doing this you can “combine game data” and get more gems and all the support perks.

Now as to why you shouldn’t play this game. It’s not worth playing since the game is abandoned and nothing new has come to the game in ages. There are only 50 levels and that’s it with the frequent automated events here and there (im assuming the events are automated). The game does soak up a crap ton of time to grind unless you use the loophole I mentioned above and to unlock any of the heroes besides the ones you can get from events, they cost money to buy since they’re from the shop. The story becomes practically nonexistent after halfway or so through and in the end the game is just a cash grab and fails to have its potential seen. (They also created Castle Creeps and I assume it’s the exact same cash grab so no point in downloading that either). Anyhow back to Genshin Impact I go now lol.

This is what happens when crack dealers decide to develop apps. It's a compelling, addictive game that's fun and exciting at first. Once you're hooked, you find yourself burning through tesla blasts and reinforcements. But that's ok....you can earn more by grinding a little. But it's not enough to keep up. You can spend hours earning enough to pay for that next upgrade and even that doesn't help clear that level. Then you find yourself itching for your dailies just to get an air strike or a few gems to recharge your tesla. You get impatient and spend a couple of bucks just to make it through (you're Soooo close! How could you not?)

Next thing you know, you're advertising your kidneys on eBay to afford that hero that will change everything!! You'll get to the end if you just have a few more gems and just one more upgraded tower.

Ridiculously unbalanced at the higher levels. You shouldn't need to grind or buy to complete the game, but there's simply no viable straight-through path. You absolutely have to grind or buy upgrades to get through it. Avoid unless you like pay-to-play.

I downloaded this game a few years ago, made a couple in-app purchases, beat all 50 levels, got 5 stars on each level, and played the occasional events. I really enjoyed the game and the story line but when I got to level 50... that was the end! The story line stops abruptly and doesn’t finish. The game looks like it continues but there are definitely NO more levels. I eventually deleted the game and figured I would download it again later to see if there were any updates. Well here we are in 2020 and there are still no more levels! Super frustrating. I played all the levels again and hoped there would be something at the end, but... it still only has 50 levels. It seems the developers are happy with the in-app purchases still coming in on new downloads and don’t want to put more effort into the game. PLEASE ADD MORE LEVELS!

So in sum up, download the game because it is fun but expect to be disappointed at level 50 when the storyline and levels come to an abrupt unfinished end.

I’ll give this game 5 stars if the devs add more levels and finish the story.

So lately I’ve been noticing that some times on veteran and normal levels when I’m down to one heart I just automatically die and the weird thing is is it’s only if I have 1 heart also I’ve noticed on the harder levels I mostly get 1 Star/Heart cause my tower aren’t strong enough to kill them ,like behemoths are very powerful I’ve never killed one with out the Tesla tower like the mini gun is an enhancement tower and still it does 20 damage a level one laser tower does ALOT more than that so I’m requesting you buff the damage of all towers and add force field upgrade so towers are resistant to jolts and icers and any tower debuff and disabler thank you for your time.

Now I have played quite a bit of this game and I have enjoyed it. Though everyone is complaining about your game and you have taken no notice on the situation. So, I will summarize the current problems. First, everyone reaches the point where the game is impossible. I have reached this point and I am pulling my hair out. The level where you first encounter mirages is so hard. Also it is awful how you MUST use real money to buy heroes. You honestly HAVE to spend money just to beat this. It is impossible if you don’t spend cash money. Please balance and fix your game. I rated 3 as the game is very fun and has a nice story. Please reply to me. PS Stop copying and pasting your developer responses! Give us your real response! If you say you take feedback from people very seriously, why haven’t you dealt with all the complaints about how the game is so pay to play?

This is an excellent game and I love playing it. However after a certain point you won't be able to advance literally without spending money to upgrade. Some levels are unfairly extremely hard to play. You can't clear them without spending cash and upgrading. And not just the hard mode. I am talking the easy mode. Forget winning some of the levels in veteran mode where you are just limited to only certain type of towers. Some of which are completely useless. I think the best game is one in which you can pay for extra help clearing a level but should not be unfairly hard that you can't clear it without spending money. This game falls into the latter category.

So overall for gameplay I am giving this 3 star. However for the difficult of play gives me the reason to only give this game 3 stars.

I paid for the game up front, and a few days later i am forced to grind and grind on repeat and boring levels just to make small progress. Obviously the game is set up so even those who pay, will have to pay over and over again to keep playing with any success. This comment is coming from a guy used to grinding through free app games. Its a money sicking misery waiting to happen with this game.

Worse yet, there is no customer support. I deleted my facebook account recently and started a new one. But the game keeps demanding my deleted account and wont let me log in with my new one, so i miss all the free daily perks. I wrote customer service many times only to be ignored completely. Without these free perks via facebook the game is unplayable and would cost $100s of dollars to finish.

I would give this zero stars if possible. Absolute moneygrubbing trash.

I'm not sure what happened exactly but when I attempted to buy one of the characters she was on my team for just one round and I thought that the transaction worked sept the next time I tried a level she was I optional but I like the idea of having a team mate once in a while sept it didn't really make sense this time. Another thing is I would have super liked it if we could progress further and go back to other levels when we've actually had the chance to upgrade the towers. This method is almost like there is no other way to get to the next level without buying a character. Thanks for the cool game
