HuntFish OH is an official application of the Ohio Division of Wildlife. HuntFish OH is a mobile path for Ohio’s hunters, anglers and shooters to licensing, game check, and communication with the Ohio Division of Wildlife through mobile devices.
Features include:
· Customer Account- create an account or sync with current account in Ohio’s Wildlife License System
· Purchases- convenient access to purchase hunting and fishing licenses, permits, stamps, and the Wild Ohio magazine.
· Display licenses and permits- display current and past licenses and permits on the phone
· Game check- submit game check from the phone even without a connection, and obtain confirmation code once the phone reestablishes service
· Maps- interactive maps with directions and information on Ohio’s public lands, boat ramps, lakes, shooting ranges, and license agents
· Resources- contact information, including directions and phone numbers, the latest hunting and fishing digests, and other popular resources for outdoor enthusiasts
· Weather- display current weather conditions and sunrise/sunset tables before heading out on the water or in the field.
The application requires internet access through Wi-Fi or cellular wireless connection to access some of the features.

Great idea but needs a few improvements
This is the best idea for ODNR in a long time! Very nice that you can check deer in and buy tags right on the app. I would love to see a few updates like a running tally of how many deer and turkeys I have killed in my lifetime. This should be a prominent button on the home screen. It is very hard to find the place to see my check-in history and the data only goes back to 2008, but I love the idea. My two young sons, (11 and 16) were all excited to be able to see their “stats” of deer and turkey kills.
Also how about a feature where you can share photos of game harvested?

App is good but..
To be able to have multi people’s info on same app would be great. My daughters 11 and yes I’m the terrible parent that won’t give their kiddo a phone and makes them get outside and enjoy nature. So to be able to keep her info in the same app would be great!

Great looking app
This looks clean and modern. I would highly recommend every Ohio hunter and fisherman to have this on their phone. A few recommendations I have are that the boater information and the campground information sections are a bit clunky as it appears they are simply hitting a webpage within the app. It is hard to navigate and hit the done button. I am using an iPhone 11 Pro and have the latest iOS installed. This appears to be a gold standard otherwise and brings the conservation effort into the modern age.

Great App with lots of Potential
I use it frequently to double check rules, season dates, game check, etc. It’s a simple user friendly app, but as other reviewers have commented there is plenty of room this app can develop into. Kudos to ODNR for getting the app going.

Needs work!
Map is unusable.
To S3, when I said the map is unusable, I wasn’t saying that it wasn’t functioning. I guess I should have used the word “useless”. The map layers for the properties completely obscure the roads and other features of the base map. That make the map useless to anyone trying to find their way around on a wildlife area once they get there. Having a dot that shows you where a shooting range is on an area and not being able seeing the roads to take you there is not helpful.

Needs so much work!
I wish I would have known what I was buying because $3 is even overpriced. There is nothing on this app you can’t do by going on a regular browser. When you are looking at the map that supposed to pinpoint you it has been off over a mile for me. The map option overall is horrible. I keep my license with me so no point to that part of the app, and all the regulations can be found online. Is there a way to get a refund?

Brings the Ohio Division if Wildlife into the modern world; engaging with a whole new generation of hunters. Great to see and looking forward to the coming updates!
On a simple note...I like knowing I always have my licenses and tags “with me” as long as I have my phone and my app.

Great modernization for Ohio outdoorsman
I like everything I do to be digital. I just found out about this app, how handy! It’s great being able to purchase, view and use all your licenses on one handy app. Nice!

Extremely handy
I use this app now all the time. I love the information it presents. The artwork is magnificient. I have not hunt for a long time but since this app appeared I have been going more out there. Its great fun.

Glad to have this application to help Ohioans enjoy our great outdoors. My licenses are all easily accessible, maps to help navigate/ make sure you stay within boundaries and resources to check the latest regulations.
