After hours of trying to get my two new cameras hooked up, I finally realized I had bought the wrong cameras for our router. They were a prime day deal, I don’t remember the 2.5 vs 5g description but either way, we bought the wrong thing. I apologize for the initial review but I will leave it here in case someone else has the same issue. Sorry again, upped the star count.

Just bought two of these cameras and neither will recognize my router password. I have had several different cameras like this for years and have tried with these, all of the tips and tricks I’ve done in the past. These still do not recognize my wifi router at all. Kind of useless without that!

I paid for this product. And I can’t use it without having an ad pop up first thing, filling the entire screen and preventing me from quickly going into the video when I need to see what’s happening? And having the X be tiny and having I look for it. And now, you have an ad that plays horribly loud music? And my volume wasn’t even up! It was at 35%. How DARE you play loud music on my phone, without permission or warning. Even when you’re already in the screen showing the camera video, STILL your insanely loud music plays.

At no point did I sign anything that says you can do this. Now I have to throw an entire product away, because I can’t use it, without using your awful spam bloatware. Oh, and its My phone. No one is using it. And no one gets in without a password. I don’t need to have to login every single time! This is a cheap camera. It’s not guarding gold.

I have this app for a birdhouse camera. It rarely connects and when it does it loses connection. I have a 5Ghz AP outside and the signal is strong outside. This entire week it won’t connect - right when the eggs are hatching and it makes me really mad I can get video of it. Also sometimes the light goes on by itself ruining the house wrens sleeping patterns. Overall I am disappointed. I can’t even watch the camera on my desktop. Only my iPhone.

They recommended I go to 2.4 on the AP but it already is 2.4 - but I appreciate the response. The other problem is that I need to reboot the camera about once a day or else it won’t let me in let alone view recorded video. I don’t believe that has anything to do with the MHz.

I bought five cameras for my two businesses and had them hooked up. Everything seem to work fine for the first few days! Then all of a sudden I couldn’t log into my account at all. Then a couple days later I could log into my account but there were no cameras shown to be connected in my account. And then a couple days after that everything seem to be working fine. Keeping in the same routine a couple days after that they were no cameras connected again and I couldn’t see anything!! It has done this three times so far. I’ve deleted the app and then I will reinstall it…. Right now it’s saying I don’t have an active account when in fact I verified it through my email again today!! Stay away from this camera/ app system! Either way I’ve tried contacting them and nothing in response!

I’ve had two of these cameras for a little over a year the only issue I had is one of the cameras power adapter burnt out and I have many adapters and after swapping things were great after the last update I did have issues where I have notifications but no video would record
So I had no preview but I emailed the company and with their great customer service they were able to get me up and running and have my notifications working perfectly again five stars for these guys

Why can the developers just leave this app alone? The update received today that was released 2 days ago now has serious login issues. I just want to view my cameras. I do not want advertising. I do not want complex logins thru Facebook or Apple. I just want to view my cameras. I think it’s time to get rid of this ridiculous app and get something that simply allows me to view my own cameras. Now after the last update the playback clock gets confused. If I watch a video captured say at 3:48 pm ET. It will display. If I try to look again at the same time it will only display 3:48 am ET. Restarting the app does not help. Overall best to find a better app to view your cameras. This app is more focused at showing ads than it does at showing your cameras.

These cameras started out great and the app was fairly simple to use. Over the years they have become more loyal and focused towards extra charges and corporate advertising. I understand this is fairly normal with most all companies and typically with fees your level of service increases. Not the case here. I have less functions available with my cameras through this app now then I did years ago when I first got it. Their privacy agreements change frequently and whether you pay for their online services or not you still have to sit through their partner advertisers before being able to access your cameras. Not fun when an urgent situation is unfolding and you can’t see because you have to first watch a pharmaceutical commercial.

I have been using this app for a few years now and I have never had any issues with it.
I would guess for those who have had or is having issues with connection problems than maybe the issue is not with this app but with their cameras or internet connection dropping on and off.
If others like myself are having no problems with this same app than logic would be that most issues that do arise is because of something else.

Range of sensitivity should be extended significantly and when I set rule setting intrusion area that I want to be secured often tends to be moved out from area I jus set for intrusion and push for notification keeps being turned off automatically? Need some sort of customer service number to be able to quick troubleshoot camera instead of left feeling like I’ve been robbed !! 😤, thinking of getting different cameras if promblem doesn’t quit ! Paid for some service that only mainly seemed to record me when i approach my house and when others come by it’s quitter than church mouse 🐁 on a Easter Sunday please fix

please fix the issue with the presets. i am having to continually redo the camera position presets on my cameras because this horrible app keeps changing the position. and it happens on all the cameras, not just one. i have to keep redoing the presets because they keep getting changed.
also, no ONE wants to pay for a monthly sub for security cameras, so why dont you give BACK the ability to capture video when the camera is set off and not and try and force customers into monthly sub just to have a feature we had to begin with. i will never pay the subscription, so you might as well give us back the video recording sans sub requirement.
