V 380 WiFi camera’s
I bought mine one year ago and seems to work well when connected to it trough your smart phone but it chases the wind a lot if you’re watching it or if you’re not watching on your smart phone it usually ends up facing the ground but I set mine in the direction I want to view & screwed it to not move which there supposed to be a control for but I also straight wired it to my router and it stays recording all day & night the only issue I have is that when you zoom in on something as far as it will allow you to it gets blurry but only at night time other than that if you’re not straight wired in or have it from moving it will kinda just do what ever it wants to & also when you zoom in and look you can still scroll around with the camera it’s self so for the money & a little modifies it not to bad at all the only thing is you have to buy the extra GB to save more on your device

Fantastic, quality product
I’ve had both V380 and then V380 pro for around a year and I can say I have been extremely satisfied with the app, no problems once set up properly! I can say at first I had a heck of a time getting everything set up correctly and running but once I did, it’s been awesome and the V380 app is even better than the original, as it allows me to check back throughout any 24 hour period of time on my SD card in the cam. I’d like to add that the camera I purchased to specifically work with the app is freaking AWESOME especially for the price!! Can’t be beat at all anywhere, HD video crystal clear with sound, intercom and 360* degrees of available viewing area at the touch of a control button, also I love the voice control now offered to control the viewing area it’s really cool to say left right up down etc and automatically the software recognizes my voice and executes the command. I’ve definitely been a happy customer and think the negative reviews are probably from incorrect setup or incompatible camera etc, give it a try and I think you will be as enthusiastic about it as me. Thanks to the developers! The only downside to me is the confusion about how to get the v-coins and cards for the cloud service of theirs...I’m using an sd card and happy with it, but would like to give it a try sometime and be able to check back further than 24-48 hours for constant recording and see what occurred

Good overall, could be better
The app is pretty decent and has a good amount of features. One thing that is missing is the ability to sound the siren while watching your video feed. The product literature mentions a siren feature, but it’s buried down in the apps menu system and it’s not usable.
The developer needs to add a simple “alarm” button to sound the alarm, like a panic button. If there’s a concern that the alarm would be set off accidentally too often, simply require the user to press it twice(use an “are you sure?” prompt after the 1st button press).
One bothersome aspect of the app is that constantly logs you out after a certain number of uses, requiring the user to have to reenter their credentials often. I realize this was probably considered a security feature but it logs you out way too frequently. If these two enhancements were made, which are easy development efforts, I would rate the app five stars.

Needs a lot of work
This product it generally not bad but it seems with every update something else breaks. There are a lot of good features however I should not have to feel forced into buying cloud services. I don’t know who the genius was that thought adding ads right at the start of the app was a good idea, but they should be fired! If I get an alert saying there is motion, I immediately click on the alert to see what is triggering the alert. I am frequently met with an ad that has no (X) to close the ad which requires me to open and close the app several times just to get an ad that will give me the (X). If someone was actually breaking in my home I’d likely be seeing them in person quicker then I’d see them on this app! These ads are an unnecessary addition and could cause potential safety risks. I also have multiple cameras and the last one on the list does not allow me to access the alerts because they are past the selectable area of the app. There are a lot of improvements that need to be made for this to be a good app!

Clock issues and location access?
First impression when setting up the app is not good because the app won’t stop pop ups if you don’t let the app access your location. That alone is weird.
The camera itself is ok but I’m not sure how it can hold up outdoors. There’s no way water won’t get into the Sd card slot and the usb power port. Maybe under cover it can handle outdoors?
One main problem is the time clock. It randomly switches time and date and there’s no guidance on a remedy. I have mine set to alert me only at certain times and when it thinks it’s a different time it’s not alerting me during the correct times. Take this aggravation away and I’d consider giving 4 stars. And if it could truly withstand the outdoors then I’d give 5 stars.

ok but not perfect
The v380 is a really good camera for the price, easy install and convenience but finding information about operating it is next to impossible. Simple things like if I take a snapshot, how do I access it? are not available. You have to try and fail to figure out most things. On line searches turn into repetition with no new information, a barrage of ads for other things or send you to another product. This part is horrible, but the basic camera operation seems fair for the price- don’t expect too much. tho!!
Add on - about two weeks after his review one camera started acting up, not reacting to motion nearby and the other just died. Both have been in operation less than 4 months.

Thousands of hours of footage almost require way to skim through it
A way to view all footage on 4 cams (tile view) in fast forward would really make this app complete. It’s way too tedious to look through a month worth of footage to look for anything out of the ordinary happening. You can view one cams data at a time at normal speed choosing from days on the calendar then 24 hour scroll bar with 10 min increments so the screen goes black when scrolling around which is really useless. It is extremely important to be able to have this efficiency when you need to be saving time and good coverage of all frames ensures that you don’t miss anything.

Only good for SLOWLY checking on pets. Terrible to monitor home.
The camera works. Kind of. I’ve had it for almost 2 years. It does have a speak feature which is great to talk to my dogs when I check on them and they are doing their “band practice.” It takes on average about 30 seconds to actually get the thing to connect. It’s not my internet or phone. This is the 4th phone I’ve had and I have a apple 12 pro Mac and the highest speed internet available in the market. So I know it is the camera and not my equipment. Then after it loads you normally only get about 5-10 seconds before it has to load again. Like I said this is great for checking on my dogs but that’s about it. If you want to use this to actually monitor your home I’d strongly advise against this cam. It’s a free app and you get what you pay for.

Besides all the bugs, such as crashing randomly, turning off even if it’s on the charger, everytime I get off the app for a minute, 60 seconds, I have to go thru this completely long sequence of resetting it with mode, making a new password which lets you make the same password over and over again, and keep getting a polite tip message everytime I click on something saying “go to systems and do (blah blah blah)” which their is no button on my phone or the app called systems so I don’t know. All I do know is its F annoying. It’s obvious this company is consuming their money instead of putting it back to their product. Thanks for wasting 30 minutes of my life and I’m only 26. Keep the money.

V380 camera
I’m very dissatisfied with it it’s really hard to get hooked up if I am lucky enough to get it hooked up it only videos for about two minutes and then it stops and I have to go through the whole process again even with a memory card in it that they say specifies exactly what I have to have in it I put that exact memory card in it and it still doesn’t work I pay for the subscription still doesn’t work and then when I go to cancel the subscription it’s impossible I do exactly what they say to cancel and you can’t find it anywhere to cancel it but yet they’re still able to charge my bank account even through PayPal I’ve gone through PayPal I’ve gone through my accounts everything so I had to report them I’m very dissatisfied and I never give a negative review this is the first ever. :((
