Too limited
This app lists all the Rx for a customer, but not much more.
No way to tell if an Rx is auto-refill. No way for customers to turn on auto-refill. Seems like only the pharmacy employees are authorized to that at checkout. How sad. Would make things easier for them if that feature could be controlled by the customer. Dr writes a new script for a maintenance Rx that was previously ON auto-refill, but it does carry over. Needs pharmacy employee intervention.
Relatively new to Osco. Have run in to numerous problems that were never an issue at my previous pharmacy. Insurance savings was reason for the switch. Not sure it’s worth the aggravation.
patient J,
Osco service
I usd to get my prescriptions filled at walgreen and even tho I got the exact same things every month (6 rx) they were ALWAYS out of something. They always got it in within 2-3 days but if you are taking pain meds Sven one day is too long to wait. The pharmacy was always very busy because it was understaffed and so the people behind they counter were usually cranky. No place to sit and wait. No customer service what so ever. After 6 months I switched to Osco and I feel like I have a personal pharmacist. They know my name and I know theirs. Sometimes they are short meds but not very often, and a pharmacist went to another Osco to pick up the difference. I can speak highly enough about the customer Osco provides. I recommend everyone to switch to Osco. They are just wonderful caring people who always have time. The lines are always short. Even the drive thru moves quickly. Osco has become my pharmacy family and everyone should switch. Walgreens has much to learn from then
Designbystacey,
No voice recognition and need RX number
I have always used Walgreens and had to switch to osco. Walgreens app and voice recognition are amazing and I am shocked in this day and age they do not have voice recognition when you call and that you can’t register for the app or refill a prescription with your rx number with you. I am away from home often and really needed a prescription filled and automated call nor app would allow me access to my prescription without a prescription number. This is very easy on Walgreens app. It recognizes my phone number and simply by answering my date of birth I can refill any prescription. Also when I call the main number at Jewel they literally give me a number that I have to WRITE DOWN and thenI have to hang up and dial a different number to get to the pharmacy. Why in the world can’t their be a button or automatic transfer to get to the pharmacy. So antiquated and frustrating. Please move into the 21st century.
Broschwa,
This app never works for me & is the bane of my existence
I would love to use this app as it seems very convenient! Every time I go to use it, I’m logged out even though I mark that I’d like to remain logged in. When I try to log in, it always says my password is incorrect even though I save my password every time in my phone notes and am certain it’s correct. When I click on “forgot password” and enter in my email address, it says I don’t have an account. UGH!!! Of course I have one! So then I go to “make new account” and wouldn’t you know it - I ALWAYS get an error message saying I already have an account and to click on forgot password if I’m having trouble logging in. Please help me! I’ve deleted and re-downloaded the app so many times. Would really love to use it moving forward!

Bugfest
I tried to set up a free home delivery today. It required my credit card even though the total price was $0. I tried to give them my credit card 3 times, but the app had “technical difficulties” every time I hit submit. While this may be their backend and not the app itself, it’s still a horrible experience. It doesn’t matter to the end user exactly where it failed. Also it would not allow me to scan my credit card, so 3 times I entered it by hand only to fail over and over. This app has a clunky and inconsistent interface and poor navigation. The pharmacy itself is good but the app leaves something to be desired.
Rodger584,
Adequate but poorly supported
This app supplies basic services to order and manage prescriptions, but has many flaws and is poorly supported.

The latest update broke the ability to access my account with the website and therefore requires that I use a mobile device or phone the pharmacist.

It is very difficult to correct or update the database which causes many additional problems. As it is also difficult to get support, the app has become a chore rather than a tool.
Kandy Kid Saturn,
Update please!
This app has so many issues it may as well of been me in high school.

Logging in fails 9/10 times.

The prescription management system is flawed. I cannot see my regular prescriptions that I need to fill, but I can see prescriptions for antibiotics I got for an ear infection 3 years ago. That’s super helpful.

When I want to put something on auto-refill it either doesn’t register it or just ignores the request.

It cannot find pharmacies that have been around for decades. I’m not sure which system they are using, but surely someone could benefit from a job of putting the stores in manually if it’s relying on GPS.

If you have kids and need to manage their prescriptions, forget about it. Switching between people makes the app crash.

I realize that Albertsons owns Jewel-Osco now, but guys, it’s 2022. Your stocks have been steadily increasing for over a year. Funnel some money into your IT department and hire a company to redo this app. This one appears to of been created by a high schooler with zero knowledge on how to create apps.
Tschabs21,
Glitches & most of the time useless
I think this is one of the worst apps that I've ever used. Rarely am I able to pull up my account as it sits at the sign in screen and refreshes while signing in, only to bring me back to the sign in page, again and again. Then there are the security issues. Three different times I have received an alert with Google that my account login and password information was found on the internet. So not only is it a poorly designed app, it has some serious security flaws, giving access to your medications for anyone to see.
Still one of the worst apps I have to use on a regular basis for medication.
Marleen85,
Not a good app
I’ve had this app for almost two years now and it’s ALWAYS been a struggle. It’s never worked properly. It crashes all the time. Doesn’t update prescription status sometimes. It’s “forgotten” my pharmacy a couple times and when I go to search for it, my pharmacy doesn’t exist. 🙄 I have to wait a day and come back to it until it finds it again. And now I can’t see the amount I owe at pick up. The information is there, but it gets cut off by the info box below it. Not convenient in the slightest. It actually makes me dread refilling my prescriptions knowing I will inevitably run into one problem or another.
eeksharks,
Worst pharmacy app in the business
I have literally nothing positive to say about this app. It’s a rarity that it works as intended. The majority of the time, it just cycles through trying to log in, pull up prescriptions, or submit refills, without actually doing what you’re trying to do. You can tell the app is an afterthought to the company, and complaints about it get generic “we’ll pass that along to our team” responses, with no real action ever taking place.

If you consider a dependable app to be an important element of your relationship with a pharmacy, go with CVS or another pharmacy. Skip Jewel-Osco. This thing is never going to function properly.
