Kingdom Two Crowns is a side-scrolling micro strategy game with a minimalist feel wrapped in a beautiful, modern pixel art aesthetic. Play the role of a monarch atop their steed and recruit loyal subjects, build your kingdom and protect it from the greedy creatures looking to steal your coins and crown.

In the brand-new campaign mode, monarchs must now work to build a kingdom that stands over time until finding a way to defeat the Greed for good. Explore the environments to discover new mounts and secrets hidden across the vast land.

But you don’t have to rule alone! Introducing cooperative play to Kingdom Two Crowns, monarchs can now choose between a solo experience or seek the assistance of a friend, working together locally in classic split screen while sitting next to your fellow monarch, or even across from them on opposite sides of the device in the custom mobile feature of tabletop coop.

In addition to the traditional medieval setting, Kingdom Two Crowns+ on Arcade also includes:

• Dead Lands: Enter the dark lands of Kingdom. Play as unique monarchs, including the Shardbinder Miriam, with powerful traits from the gothic horror action-RPG Bloodstained. Ride the gigantic beetle steed to lay out traps, the eerie undead mount that summons barriers impeding the progress of the Greed, and from Bloodstained the mythic demon horse “Gamigin” with its powerful charge attack. Building your Kingdom has never been spookier!

• Shogun: Journey to lands inspired by the architecture and culture of feudal Japan. Play as the mighty Shogun or Onna-bugeisha, enlist the support of the ninja, lead your soldiers to battle atop the mythological Kirin, and form new strategies as you brave the Greed hiding in the thick bamboo forests.

• Norse Lands: Set in a domain inspired by Norse Viking culture 1000 C.E, the Norse Lands DLC is a full new campaign that expands the world of Kingdom Two Crowns with a unique setting to build, defend, explore, and conquer. In Norse Lands, players can look forward to unleashing abilities drawn upon from Norse gods, commanding mighty units, building Viking-inspired armaments, solving challenging puzzles, and facing a new enemy Greed.

A challenge awaits all who seek it here, whether you are a first or long-time ruler. So be brave, great monarchs, for in the end Two Crowns shall reign stronger than one!

Great but sometimes ridiculously hard

I LOVE this game. Been playing for months and up to the fifth island (I actually have no idea if that's far or not). The art, sound (except the sound of the griffin eating a worm - that just grates on me for some reason), and music are just beautiful! Gameplay has a lot of great strategy on multiple levels, and there's A LOT to discover and figure out (this is not a game for people with no patience or ability to think 😝). I do have a couple complaints though. For one, it would have been really nice to learn about the gem storage early on - I lost probably at least 3/4 of my gems to the Greed before finding that, and since once they're gone you can't get them back, that means I can't unlock all of the features that require gems - that's just lame. Second, there are times when the Greed launch an all out attack that's basically a no win situation (unless you're armed to the teeth with everything you can get in the game, but these attacks don't necessarily come once you're successful and wealthy, so usually you're not prepared enough) - again, lame. What's the point of that? Just to randomly frustrate the player? Yes you can often (though not always) recover eventually, but it takes quite a bit of time, not to mention being sent back to the first island. I've come close to quitting because of those attacks. Change these two issues, and this is a definite 5 star game.

Good game, Ok execution

When immediately started playing this game, i couldn’t put my phone down. The game itself is great and iv’e been playing everyday since release, but once you start to understand the game, it gets repetitive and i am slowly spending less and less time on it. The lack of things to do than just use coins makes the player lose significance, almost like you're spectating the game itself. Overall, if you want long- term players, you HAVE to maintain consistency. I will be waiting for an update soon.

One of the best mobile games

I recently bought the game on steam and absolutely fell in love with it, especially the art. Though it is hard to get started i spent some time watching tutorials and looking at the wiki for help. A more thorough tutorial would be much appreciated but still not too bad of a first encounter. I’ve seen many people complaining about the stamina feature but I really don’t think it’s too much of a deal. Personally I like it because, though it’s annoying, it makes you think when venturing near the portals. I love the fact that it’s come to Apple Arcade though and I haven’t encountered any bugs so far. I have a couple suggestions as well. Maybe add upgrades for items like your coin bag and maybe add ports or something so every time you visit an island your ship doesn’t break. The game is extremely fun but needs more end-game stuff to increase playability once you’ve gotten everything. Overall a super fun game and I really enjoy playing!

Good, but

Why does the horse have a stamina mechanic? It adds nothing to the game and subtracts fun. This game requires constant map traversal, why make that tedious? Just make the enemies slightly faster than the mount if that’s the reason for the stamina mechanic. Additionally, when I ring the bell to load people onto the boat, can that just load a default number of people from across the map? As it stands, you have to get lucky with workers just so happening to walk by the boat. Thirdly, if I’ve cleared the greed from an island, don’t make me go back and have to reactivate those shrines if I die. It’s a waste of my time. Finally, I have no idea what some of the things in the game do. There seems to be no difference between most of the mounts. I have no idea what the special dude buildings do. One of them makes a bakery and I have no idea what that does. Maybe a text glossary?

All that said, I’ve played this game for like 4 hours a day since release. It’s fun as heck, but the above complaints really make it a lot less fun than it could be.

AMAZING!

I play this just about every day!! Feel like it’s been weeks but who knows 😂 The music and the ambience of the game is very relaxing. I like to casually play and this keeps my mind going without the whole competitive gaming. It’s a breathe of fresh air. I used to be a big gamer but as I’ve gotten older I can’t play games like COD or Overwatch. They are to fast paced for me. This has gotten me back into playing. I’m usually on the go quite a bit so I love that it’s mobile! On that note I would love to see an update if possible or I have suggestions

1)Someway to either resell or demolish to gain back partial or all coins spent. Really if it’s possible say I click a bow and I meant for a builder somehow subtract that bow and gain back the 2 coins spent or at least 1.

2)Possibly a menu showing you what each item and person are used for. Showing what each of those monster things are that attack your village.

3)Something when you travel to click on a destination to see whats there already. Like if you have portals or a big village or undiscovered.

Just a few things. I will keep playing this and don’t foresee me stopping in the future. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes those society building games but with a retro style to it. 👍😎😎🔥🔥🔥

Time Killer

This game is super addicting. It’s kind of repetitive, but not really in a bad way.

Thing that need fixed: Freezing when the character is running on the screen when the game is loading. If you tap, the character changes, but then it just freezes up & have to restart.

Suggestion: Have a way to see horse stamina; have a way to see how many of each type of citizen you have. I got stuck with a billion bowmen & farmers bc I kept loading them up bc I didn’t realize if you did that, the new recruits would never get to the hammers to become builders…I guess that’s also a learning moment, but it would be nice to have a stat list of citizens anyway.

Awesome! ...BUT

This is by far one of the better mobile games. It's very tedious the mounts are all virtually the same. The stamina mechanic ands nothing to the game. The amount of coins you can hold never increases as you grow, especially on the larger islands where you have lots of income and too little time to move bank and forth to the banker during the day. This game needs another element. Something to captivate the player. Also there needs to be more information on things like the shrines and mounts I.e what they do what stats they have. Controls info would be nice as well. I'm saying this as someone who likes the mobile game. Needs to updated to attract new players.

P.s an online multiplayer for mobile would be refreshing.

Favorite mobile game of the year.

Kingdom: Two Crowns is the best way to spend your time, whether you’re constantly pulling up the wiki to find out what things do or finding out the hard way. Every aspect of the game adds something. I’ve seen two reviews complaining about mount stamina- that’s the whole point of choosing different mounts. See?Almost everything in the game has a purpose and you will spend the rest of your days playing this game because the DLC is just as addicting. I love everything about this game. Apple Arcade is worth it just for this.

Amazing!

Not knowing everything at first could be a good thing. Figuring out how to grow with time and a lot of errors it’s worth, you just need time and star all over again to learn how to master it. You’ll not be penniless and the enemies will lower for you to rebuild your empire. Try to build the beacon so you won’t be investing all your gold rebuilding the ship each time you travel from one isle to another. Learn about the perks of each mount and remember that the special characters you rescue also have perks. Totally amazed by this game. Totally recommended.

Can’t stop playing

I was looking for a new strategy game to play and this hit the spot. Don’t be fooled - yes it is minimalist with only a few simple controls - but it has a huge depth of strategy. The progression mechanics are also unique in that they give you reasons to return to previous islands and repair your empire.

As a side plus there is a great soundtrack and sound effects. I almost never leave the sound on while gaming but this is an exception!
