I love the app. One thing I wish for though is an authentic look to the AI. If I am learning Japanese then the AI should look Japanese. Otherwise it’s a great app! Thanks!

Seems great if it worked
I just installed it today to start learning Dutch and was really looking forward to this approach/visuals rather than the original Mondly app. I have completed the safari or Animal experience multiple times now but am stuck there. As soon as I finish saying elephant, she says for advanced speakers now we can have a conversation, I press continue and she just stands there. I’ve pressed on her, tried talking to her, and I’ve looked around. There’s nothing for me to do. I don’t know what else I’m supposed to do or where I’m supposed to go, so I quit to go back to the main screen and go back in and I have to do it all over again. Again, I’ve done this multiple times now and nothings changing, so would love to know how I am supposed to fully complete the first lesson with the animals to move forward in the learnings.

I want to like this app.
This is a great idea and would be fantastic - if it worked. Tried it for about an hour today. Keeps getting caught in a loop or something when you try to speak it it, and then this little text bubble opens up (with dots in it) and it never recovers - and the character stands there looks at her nails like you’re an idiot. I have yet to finish lesson one. The furthest I’ve gotten is where she tells you she’s going to have a conversation in Spanish with you - but never does - she just kinda stands there. The site also says there’s an iPad version but when I try to install that, it says I don’t have the equipment I need. Really do wish this would work.

Examples. The “instructor” says “in Italian to say cat you say cat.”Actually, you say gatto…
“repeat after me” *immediately after* “I didn’t get that” Of course not. You didn’t give me a chance to say anything…You should be away for this to work on a horizontal screen. My device holder does not go vertical. Pretty simple, I would think.

App is complicated
I don’t know how to get things working each time I want to start up where I left off. The reminder options don’t tell me what the scrolling numbers are. Better explanation needed

It freezes, goes slowly. It is hard to place the virtual teacher so she look natural in he space, and her voice in Spanish is strangle different from that in English.

Thai characters are broken
This app is such a cool idea, but Thai shows up as a bunch of squares with question marks in them. If you fix this, I'd really enjoy using the app.

Omg this app is frustrating.. it has me literally yelling at my phone because it can’t hear me although I’m speaking extremely loud, sad because it seems like it would be a great way to learn and a lot of fun...
