Potential, not executed
Tried the rover kit with my kids on my phone but the instructions aren’t very good and there’s only a pause button, no rewind. No audio either. As an adult it was complicated to figure out what to do with the folding of the base. Kids and I both got frustrated and everyone walked away without getting anywhere. Returning it to the library.

What a piece of crap
This is, without a doubt, one of the worst apps I have ever used. My son has a rover that he cannot build because the app refuses to download its own instructions. No instructions are supplied with the rover itself (as someone else said, how cheap do you have to be to not supply a pdf or printed instructions, and because of LittleBits mind-bending decision to gate every subsequent step in the app behind the use of instructions, we can’t do anything. We are now on our SEVENTEETH “download error” from your servers on your app with your directions, complete with reset of the percentages downloaded for no clearly identifiable reason. I will never buy a product from LittleBits again. My son would better off playing with sticks and rocks than your broken junk.

App does not work
Our daughter was excited to start building with the electronic music inventor kit. Her excitement disappeared after the app would not work on any of the 4 devices we tried. After downloading the app, it appears you have to download each set of instructions separately. After about ten tries across both iOS and google devices, I finally got a message that it had downloaded, but the actual instructions were nowhere to be found. Worse, the kit does not come with even basic instructions, and the Little bits website has no information that could help. Little bits: please get this fixed so that the kit can be used, or put the instructions on your website.

Purchase this about A year ago. The app was bad and the instructions were not download so we could not do any of the activities and we had to find the instructions for the guitar online. A year later and the app is working great so far. Able to play games at use instructions! Vary happy now! The games a pretty good and fun! The app has also been helpful because it told us things we didn’t know the guitar could do

App will not download kit instructions
This app will not fully download individual kit instructions within the app. This makes the kit, space rover, unusable as this is the ONLY avenue to access instructions. We have had little to no issues with the other littleBits apps in the past, but this experience is extremely frustrating as it renders the kit useless. At least some past kits include instruction booklets so the kit is able to be used when the apps are not working. Please fix this issue soon, littleBits, as it is frustrating that my children have not been able to use the app & kit since receiving the kit for Christmas over a week ago.

App is useless, doesn’t work.
We got a Keytar for our son for Christmas. The app would not install on a spare tablet we have for the kids’ use. It took forever to load on my iPhone 8! We opened the app to do the first lesson only to find that we had to download each lesson separately. Ok. Lesson one will not download. After multiple retries, it now starts at about 50%, loads another 5% and errors out. Subsequent attempts start at 50% again. How hard could it have been to supply a set of print instructions or a PDF??

Just unlock everything
Can you please just unlock everything? Your products are supposed to allow my kids to create, SO LET THEM. They have completed the Droid and Avengers kits, so they want to be able to do what they want here, and not be forced to relearn the boring parts that they have already done two other times.

I really liked putting together my robot. It was hard to follow along with what they were doing. I got the mars rover, it should be branded at 10+, not 8+. Overall a great app and a great idea, just change a few things

App is useless
The lesson won’t download. Takes forever and said complete / 100 percent but then defaulted to 70 percent. Option is to try again, which starts at 70 percent. After 5-7 percent, it defaults back to the try again option at 70 percent. Endless cycle. A simple set of instructions would’ve been easy enough. Now this toy is useless to my 9 year old. Will have to return it.

Awesome app and toy!
I’ve seen a lot of bad reviews but there is absolutely no problem. The app works fine you just download the instructions 1 time and the toy is super great!
