Getting back into the swing of things
I been a weekend golfer for a lot of years play when I can ,been to few tournaments to watch an listen an see if there anything I can do with my equipment to improve my game all I have come to is practice practice practice if you want to be good practice at the driving range of course but sometimes I go to a open field walk off 150 yards put a stick to aim at see how close I can get to the pin don’t have the fancy putter to much I been using my dad’s putter for all of these years I bought the Taylor made sims 2 set new it has it moments but if I could dialed it in I would be as good as I can be but it all get back to practice I love this game dosnt matter if you are young or old it never gets old new equipment always a plus but I am old school taught but overall I love it this app is taking me to the next level to be better than I was before

Taylormade fixed an error
Taylormade fixed a mistake I called out, the sasquatch headcover went out to the public first instead of the subscription followers. I pointed this out, they reached out to me about the Sasquatch headcover and made it right. A lot of companies don't read these review or care enough to fix mistakes, but TM did, and I appreciate them for doing so

Poor documentation, vanishing round, unknown support
I can’t find documentation on how to do obvious things, like when golf tracking and you hit one into the water…which buttons to press to accurately record things and how to go back and edit a hole (forgot to record strokes at correct locations…which will mess up stats like club distances if not corrected). When editing a round it wasn’t clear how to exit out and get back to main part of app so I closed the app. Now that round no longer exists (deleted), don’t know how to get it back (and can’t just add round manually, assuming that’s a thing, because I don’t know the score because it was deleted). Also it is not at all clear how to contact support (maybe there is no support for this paid subscription?!).

Used to be such a great app
I’m a huge TM fan, have recommended this app to so many people, but recently it has failed me.
No longer am I able to “finish” my round on my Apple Watch and have it save to the TM app. It just sits there and spins forever and then times out.
Then when I go to start a new round next time I play, it asks if I want to “resume round” or “cancel round” and the only thing that I can do is cancel and then I lose all the cool stats from the previous round.
I’m a numbers nerd. I crave the data that this app used to accurately give me and allow me to compile. But at this point I’ll be actively looking for a replacement app that can accurately and reliably do this for me. Not really sure what I’m paying $13 a month for if this feature isn’t going to work.
I’ve tried deleting the app and reinstalling. I’ve updated software on my iPhone and Apple Watch (both are the brand new 2023 versions of the phone and watch). Just so frustrating for a guy like myself that plays golf 2-3 times per week and wants to see that data

Simply, nothing works
I had so much hope from this app. I wanted to like it but nothing works. I’ve sent 4 videos to a swing coach and each given feedback saying the swing was cut off. After the first one going down the line i figured i would simple just back up. So i submitted the second further away and it was the same thing. I know for a fact you could see the full swing. Still trusting in Taylormade i sent a face on video and got the same response. Got the same feedback. So i backed up again and used the same angle. Same feedback. That’s just the swing coach. The drill videos i was interested don’t load; not on Wi-Fi, not on 5G. This app has been an overall disappointment.

I need to pay for a membership in order to purchase certain products??
I was frustrated to discover that in order to purchase the new “pizza box” inspired putter head cover I would be required to pay a monthly fee for the upgraded Taylormade + account. The only reason I subscribed in the first place was to purchase the head cover for my new Spider GT putter, so this was disappointing to say the least.
I gave 2 stars instead of 1 because I still enjoy Taylormade’s products and brand in general, and I’m sure this app has a bunch of useful features. However, requiring a customer to pay for a monthly membership in order to simply be eligible to purchase a product seems unreasonable.
I already spend hundreds, if not thousands, of dollars on Taylormade products every year, so buying this membership did not seem reasonable to me.
Still love Taylormade, I just hope they release this putter head cover, and other limited edition products, to all customers in the near future.

Quite pleased
I’ve had this app for about 6 months now or so and my game has evolved to new heights. My swing coach helped me from not breaking 100 to now shooting in the high 80s. I’ve been very surprised and happy with what I’ve got so far. With the added drills, exercises, and mental tips there’s so much to offer. The oncourse app could use some U/I updates and the reason I will give 4 starts but that’s not to say I’d say it’s worth the scratch. I’d say give it a month or two and see if you like it. Nothing beats a real swing coach though.

This app is just missing a few vital components to be “Amazing/5 stars”…!
I love all the features like the daily short clips on swing techniques/products, personalization, & of course the coaching app if you have the “legend subscription ”.
I HATE the “on course” app…. It is so hard to navigate, there is no live location, just very complicated. I feel as if you have to have Arcoss Caddy to get the full experience.

So much potential, BUT…
The app looks great and appears to provide a wealth of resources. The unfortunate part is that the app is extremely buggy. Constant errors popping up while trying to do the initial setup. After 30 mins of closing and reopening, I as finally able to get in. Once I got in, and tried to setup my club bag, more errors occurred, as the app had trouble with pulling up brand names. If the bugs can be worked out, I’d truly use this app, and potentially upgrade from the free version.

Solid App
Overall a pretty solid app. Awesome video content and technology at work to help improve your game. Also fun to enter in to win tour used equipment and get access to some exclusive drops.
The only reason this has 4 stars is because when you are watching video, the orientation stays vertical. I want to be able to rotate my phone and watch the videos full screen. Should be an easy fix!
