We've improved your Nemours app experience! Here's what's new:
If you are having a scheduled video visit with us, you will now be required to go through our Get Ready flow to ensure we have all of the information we need for your visit. Be sure to arrive a few minutes early for your video appointments so that we can see you promptly!
Based on usability testing, we've updated our app menu with a handy search and a more intuitive structure.
We've improved the layouts of our Test Results, Communication Preferences, and Provider Information screens.

Communication Preferences - We're working hard to give you more transparency and control over how we communicate with you. You now have access to a Communication Preferences section (under Settings) where you can see some of the communications we send you. We will be expanding this functionality going forward to give you more and more control.
Questionnaire Trends - There is a new section called Questionnaire Trends in your Health Records section. If applicable, you can use this to see trends in your responses to questionnaires. (This is most commonly used today in Orthopedics, where you may regularly complete a series of questionnaires called "PROMIS".)

Link Your Accounts - If your child is seen at another hospital, you may now be able to link your account so that you can view information from the other hospital directly within the Nemours app. This includes information like allergies, medications, messages, test results, and more. We've improved your Nemours app experience!
User Experience Improvements to Toolbar - For the first time since we launched the app, we've made some significant user experience changes based on user feedback and data analytics. This includes the following changes to the main toolbar that appears on the bottom of the screen on mobile devices and in the top right in web browsers:
Our new "Visits" button will easily lead you to information about upcoming visits, past visits, our urgent care video visit service, and the ability to schedule a visit.
Our new "Billing" button will give you quick access to your important account information.
We have renamed "Quick Links" to "Shortcuts" for more clarity.
We changed our "Family" button to just show the name of the current selected user or patient. You can use this button to change settings, go to an individual's dashboard, or change whose information you are viewing.
Our Visits section now has additional filters and the ability to use a grid view or a list view for your convenience.
We renamed our "My Nemours Story" feature to "Preparing Your Child." Use this feature to see stories that can help prepare your child for a visit to Nemours. Keep an eye out as we continue to grow our library of stories.

Two-Step Verification - The theft of health data is an ever-growing problem, and the security of your information is critical to us. Two-factor authentication is a great way to help further protect your data. We have added a new, optional two-step verification process. The next time you log into the Nemours app, you will be prompted to turn on this feature, and we encourage you to do so. You can also enable or disable this feature at any time through the Settings screen.
New Featured Videos - May is Mental Health Awareness month. Check out the Health Library section of the app, where we have some new Featured Videos from our KidsHealth® team about your child's mental well-being.

We now have a Frequently Asked Questions section! Go to the Menu, and then to Help, and you'll see an option to look at our FAQs. We'll be adding many more over time, so if you run into trouble, it's one option for quickly finding some help.

Waitlist Misses - Some of you may have noticed that we occasionally offer patients earlier appointment slots if openings come up. These are first-come first-served, and patients are quick to pounce on them! Unfortunately, this means that sometimes you get notified, and by the time you check, there is nothing there, which is confusing. We've improved this functionality so that you'll be clearly informed when these opportunities were taken by another patient.

Improved Family Switcher - If you have more than one patient at Nemours, you may have used our Family Switcher (top right corner), which lets you easily switch between family members. We've improved this feature so that when switching family members, you now stay on the screen where you were previously. Hopefully this makes your lives a bit easier!

We've improved your Nemours app experience! In addition to our usual bug fixes and behind-the-scenes work, here's what's new:

Email "Deep Linking" - Emails from the Nemours app will now link you directly to the right place in the app. For example, if you get an email about test results for your son, the button in the email will take you straight to the test results for your son, instead of just to the home page.
Video Visit Motion Detection - It's important to do video visits from a safe place. Our providers can't see patients who are in a moving vehicle, even if they are passengers. The app will now detect if you are in a moving vehicle when you are trying to do a video visit.
New Surgical Infection Video - There's a new video in the app about surgical site infections. If your child has planned surgery, go visit the Health Library section of the app to learn more.
Message Center Warning - You will see a new language in our Message Center reminding you that messages to your care team are for non-urgent issues and have a 3-business day turnaround time. If you have an urgent issue, please call the office. If you have an emergency, call 911.

Great Medical Care App
I love the Nemours app. It’s incredibly user friendly. Everything is formatted in a manner that is easy on the eye and it takes no time at all to navigate and find information regarding your specific needs. I like that it gives me reminders on my child’s upcoming appointments. There are also reminders for any outstanding questionnaires associated with upcoming visits. It’s easy to access an immunization schedule with accompanying record, in addition to test results and growth charts. Their messaging portal is amazing, it’s been great communicating with my child’s providers should I have any arising questions. There is also an education link to Kids Health, where you can learn a wealth of information about growth and development from infancy to teenage years with related topics of common ailments, development struggles, and diseases that children may experience to help you stay abreast on knowledge that you can use to care for your child. Highly recommend!

Love Nemours
Love this place. My kids have been to other pediatricians in the past and others have never noticed conditions my kids had. Dr. Miller at Nemours noticed my youngest back was not right during his 1st physical exam with her and referred us out to a Nemours orthopedic where they discovered scoliosis of my 5- now 7 year old. The scoliosis was bad enough he has to wear a brace. My middle son always had stomach issues that other pediatricians never addressed. Dr. Miller referred my middle son to a GI at Nemours where they did endoscopy and discovered acid reflux along with a rare condition called: CSID - where your body can’t break down sugars. Why didn’t other pediatricians notice these symptoms in my kids before and refer them out? Anyway, Iam just so so happy I found Nemours and Nemours has been able to help my kids... They have helped my kids so much and Iam very thankful . Staff is wonderful all the way around. Highly recommend Nemours

Best pediatrician, best app!
My first daughter is about to turn 1 next week and neumors has been with us every step of the way. The first year is full of appointments and this app makes it easy to keep them all organized, with notes & summaries from each visit under every appointment date and the ability to pay your bill within the app. The first year is also full of viruses & fevers (unfortunately). I was able to be connected to a nurse within 10 minutes of inquiry in the middle of the night multiple times. They really are the most knowledgeable and caring organization. This app is the most user friendly medical app I have ever used, would recommend to everyone :)

Excellent service!!! We arrived 945 and was greeted by a gentleman who took our insurance card and ID. Very nice and friendly ( sorry I didn’t get his name)And informed us that we have 15 mins till they open. As we we’re waiting he was processing our information. At 10 am we walked in sat for maybe a few minutes and called to the back. Samantha was one of our nurse and she was so gentle doing one of the test that had to be done. You can tell she loves her job! Ruth/Practitioner was excellent with my little one. Very pleasant and professional. EXCELLENT!!!! From the time we walked in till we left we were treated AMAZING!!

The app Nemours is the app MyChart too customized
The app MyChart allows us patients to Switch Organizations. This means if we or our spouse, parents, or children get their care, or testing, performed at other organizations then we can easily switch to those organizations and not have to download multiple versions of the same app. The app Nemours is the app MyChart highly customized and restricted in use. The app Nemours does not have or allow the Switch Organizations feature. The health system removed it as an option for patients to use.

Nemours also does not allow patients to use the app MyChart. Other health systems in the Delware Valley do allow patients to use the app MyChart or their copy of MyChart.

It did not have to be this way. Nemours has made healthcare more difficult and the government and insurance companies did not on this topic. By forbidding the use of the app MyChart Nemours forces patients to download the app Nemours AND the patient then must download the app MyChart for their care, or for others care that they are helpers for via Proxy.

Nemours has squandered the chance to show how healthcare is inclusive and instead they made healthcare look and be disconnected. It’s about the business and not the patients.

#1 choice for children’s health
My son was switched to Nemours after being told he had a cold and he’d get over it and as soon as his Dr seen him, she said he was having a full blown asthma attack! She taught me what to look for, what to listen to, and she got him admitted before we even stepped in the hospital doors! My daughter goes as well and they have been More then Wonderful with her health problems as well and have even seen us late night when something went wrong. I love this app because if I have a concern I can send pictures or messages immediately and be told wether its an emergency or if it can be handle at home.

The service here is getting worse and worse!
I have a sick child that I have made several attempts to find out what’s wrong with her. No one has reached out it’s been over a week. Today they told me go online do a video visit. We have been holding so long the laptop and mobile phones died! Now we go back for video visit screen says Mattilie Gednas is available and ready for the visit. We now back in the waiting room of the video visit and we have been here for over 30 mins. After 17 years with Nemours I think it’s time for both my children to part ways with Nemours! The never answer the phones, they never return calls, and the staff is always chitchatting while we wait long periods of time! This place is just about making money now! Quality care is no longer at the top of their priority list!

Nemours App
Very pleased with the online doctor video visit. Having that option during a busy time of year with the holidays is incredibly reassuring. Being able to also be home is another bonus. Both my husband and I are sick, so having a child who is sick makes it really nice to know we can hop online and speak face to face with a doctor who can see and observe our child. Please don’t ever get rid of this care option. It is a lifesaver for a parent like myself who gets panic stricken during times like this. Your services are very much appreciated by this family. Thank you!!

The app has been very helpful monitoring all my daughter’s care team and the notes they send to keep me updated with their observations. The Doctors have made sure that my insurance would cover the procedures they are requiring for my daughter’s care. They inform me if it will be covered and what my potential out of pocket cost may be. The app has listed all my child’s futuristic appointments and keeps me connected to the doctor that we will be meeting with her. It lists all the recommended events that will occur on the specified date.

You do get the appointment quickly
I thought this service was excellent at first. Saw a doc quickly, sign up was quick, and doc was nice. I paid before my son was ever seen. However, FIVE months later I got a bill for the exact amount I paid saying now payment had been made on account. I tried calling the billing office a couple times it was very limited hours and closed for lunch. I finally got someone on the phone and they were very short with me and then hung up on me. I called back and got another person who wanted to me email over a copy of my credit card statement as proof I paid and told me that this happens often when you pay through the app. I’m still working on getting it straight. Will never use this app again.
