We've improved your Nemours app experience! Here's what's new:
If you are having a scheduled video visit with us, you will now be required to go through our Get Ready flow to ensure we have all of the information we need for your visit. Be sure to arrive a few minutes early for your video appointments so that we can see you promptly!
Based on usability testing, we've updated our app menu with a handy search and a more intuitive structure.
We've improved the layouts of our Test Results, Communication Preferences, and Provider Information screens.

We've improved your Nemours app experience! Here's what's new:
Communication Preferences - We're working hard to give you more transparency and control over how we communicate with you. You now have access to a Communication Preferences section (under Settings) where you can see some of the communications we send you. We will be expanding this functionality going forward to give you more and more control.
Questionnaire Trends - There is a new section called Questionnaire Trends in your Health Records section. If applicable, you can use this to see trends in your responses to questionnaires. (This is most commonly used today in Orthopedics, where you may regularly complete a series of questionnaires called "PROMIS".)

Link Your Accounts - If your child is seen at another hospital, you may now be able to link your account so that you can view information from the other hospital directly within the Nemours app. This includes information like allergies, medications, messages, test results, and more. Use the "Link My Accounts" feature from the menu!

We've improved your Nemours app experience!
User Experience Improvements to Toolbar - For the first time since we launched the app, we've made some significant user experience changes based on user feedback and data analytics. This includes the following changes to the main toolbar that appears on the bottom of the screen on mobile devices and in the top right in web browsers:
Our new "Visits" button will easily lead you to information about upcoming visits, past visits, our urgent care video visit service, and the ability to schedule a visit.
Our new "Billing" button will give you quick access to your important account information.
We have renamed "Quick Links" to "Shortcuts" for more clarity.
We changed our "Family" button to just show the name of the current selected user or patient. You can use this button to change settings, go to an individual's dashboard, or change whose information you are viewing.
Our Visits section now has additional filters and the ability to use a grid view or a list view for your convenience.
We renamed our "My Nemours Story" feature to "Preparing Your Child." Use this feature to see stories that can help prepare your child for a visit to Nemours. Keep an eye out as we continue to grow our library of stories.

Two-Step Verification - The theft of health data is an ever-growing problem, and the security of your information is critical to us. Two-factor authentication is a great way to help further protect your data. We have added a new, optional two-step verification process. The next time you log into the Nemours app, you will be prompted to turn on this feature, and we encourage you to do so. You can also enable or disable this feature at any time through the Settings screen.
New Featured Videos - May is Mental Health Awareness month. Check out the Health Library section of the app, where we have some new Featured Videos from our KidsHealth® team about your child's mental well-being.

We've improved your Nemours app experience! In addition to our usual bug fixes and behind-the-scenes work, here's what's new:
We now have a Frequently Asked Questions section! Go to the Menu, and then to Help, and you'll see an option to look at our FAQs. We'll be adding many more over time, so if you run into trouble, it's one option for quickly finding some help.
Waitlist Misses - Some of you may have noticed that we occasionally offer patients earlier appointment slots if openings come up. These are first-come first-served, and patients are quick to pounce on them! Unfortunately, this means that sometimes you get notified, and by the time you check, there is nothing there, which is confusing. We've improved this functionality so that you'll be clearly informed when these opportunities were taken by another patient.
Improved Family Switcher - If you have more than one patient at Nemours, you may have used our Family Switcher (top right corner), which lets you easily switch between family members. We've improved this feature so that when switching family members, you now stay on the screen where you were previously. Hopefully this makes your lives a bit easier!

We've improved your Nemours app experience! In addition to our usual bug fixes and behind-the-scenes work, here's what's new:
Email "Deep Linking" - Emails from the Nemours app will now link you directly to the right place in the app. For example, if you get an email about test results for your son, the button in the email will take you straight to the test results for your son, instead of just to the home page.
Video Visit Motion Detection - It's important to do video visits from a safe place. Our providers can't see patients who are in a moving vehicle, even if they are passengers. The app will now detect if you are in a moving vehicle when you are trying to do a video visit.
New Surgical Infection Video - There's a new video in the app about surgical site infections. If your child has planned surgery, go visit the Health Library section of the app to learn more.
Message Center Warning - You will see a new language in our Message Center reminding you that messages to your care team are for non-urgent issues and have a 3-business day turnaround time. If you have an urgent issue, please call the office. If you have an emergency, call 911.
