The Bored Inkling,
Great Pixel Art App!
I don’t believe I would’ve expected there to be a good free pixel art app, but I was pleasantly surprised when I found this. Dottable is that app. In fact, I enjoyed this app so much, I recommended it to my friend, as we make little sprites for games we’ll eventually make. But that’s off topic.
The reason I enjoy dottable is the fact that it’s easy to use, and the canvas size can be adjusted up to 120 pixels. Every other free pixel art app has limited size. I once encountered an app that had a max canvas of 7 pixels. SEVEN PIXELS. I also like that the color selection is simple enough where it’s easy but nice.
Again, it deserves five stars, but there are slight errors. I would like it if you can rename arts, and I would also suggest that this app never used ads. Oh, and please add a line tool. Thanks for reading this.

Pretty Good, but Room for Improvement
I was in need of a pixel art app, and found this. I haven’t really looked at other apps that much so I might be a bit critical, but the fact that so much is limited is kinda annoying. It’s especially annoying with the whole pay-to-get-more thing (premium) which I find to be pretty useless. Either give us more options and make the app paid, or just not even bother. That’s just an opinion though. The fact is, it’s pretty mediocre. There are limited tools which can be confusing, colors which, while they may not appear to be so limited, are very hard to select on a mobile device (which is the intention), and limited spaces for art pieces which is pretty ridiculous (especially since it’s not a lot at all). Lastly, the ads. They’re the most annoying thing. Forget saving just in case every time you leave. Every time you save and you have connection, an ad plays and it usually doesn’t even fit that well on phones.

All in all, I think it’s ok at what it’s doing, but could be improved heavily. Like I said though; I haven’t seen too many other pixel-art apps so I’m not sure where it lands in the whole spectrum.

Absolute Garbage
I’m rating this 5 stars so you can see my review. This app barely gives you decent canvas sizes and the pen function is awful, if you swipe fast, the dots spread out and the only way to stop it is to draw very slowly. The app doesn’t even give you customizable colors, or even palates! The other reviews you see are fake, I guarantee! Nobody could possibly think this app is as awesome as the revues say it is. Devs, either make the app DECENT, or get rid of it. Nobody wants a storage wasting, stupid, useless app.
iHaveNoShelter,
i got scammed
i bought the no ads upgrade that was supposed to give me at most to 75 layers and it kind of didn’t work. there was a button to buy the upgrade. when i pressed the button, there was an option to reload it once i bought it. when i bought it, the option was greyed out and i couldn’t press it. i got out of the app and back in and the button had completely disappeared. there weren’t any ads, but i still couldn’t add any more layers. long story short, i got scammed. if only i had used a different app.
i put my trust into this app and it betrayed me. feeling sad, i just faced the fact i wasn’t getting that 2 dollars back. hey, it was only two dollars, what else was i going to do with it? the app still works, i have no ads, so i guess it didn’t affect me too much. i just wish this app would have been more honest with me.
in conclusion, the app is good for basic animation, which is what i was using it for. i suggest to not buy the “no ads” upgrade, its 2 dollars (which is too much for an upgrade like that), and half-way a scam. i still use this app for pixel art, for that’s where it excels.
DatGayBoiHaiden,
Very nice app.
I’ve drawn a few things on this, and they’ve all ended up nicely, and this app is honestly aesthetic or whatever, right? The one thing I have with it is apparently if you don’t save your work or something before exiting the app completely, if deletes what you were working on. I was drawing a little demogorgon thing, (it’s some monster from a show called “Stranger Things”, that I highly recommend because it’s beautiful,) I spent a while on it, and left for a while to take a break. When I got back to continue it, it just wasn’t there and that’s not quite peachy. But I honestly love this app.
Girl with the goods,
suggestion
This game is perfect! But has two problems! One! You should have a library! So you can look at your art! Because the grid gets in the way and it’s annoying! Two! You should make it where you can adjust the frame in the middle of making it! So you won’t delete your progress if you make a mistake on the sizing! And you should be able to adjust the frame to be profile or square! Or rectangle shape! Thanks for reading this! Love your game!
blake toney,
Great game but one thing
I wish you were able to post to Minecraft so you can make blocks or at least you could draw 3-D and I’m still giving it a five how about the game it is so fun I’ve already made texture packs or what would be one this was the only one I could get because I have to sign in to get an app and since I’m able to put my fingerprint I was able to do it so thank you so much for A great game
Cartooning Cat,
Animations Amazing!
Drew a simple Spider-Man mask and it was very convenient. Choose how many squares are in the picture. The more detailed you want it, the more squares you use. I’ve gotten multiple apps like this and they all were ripoffs. This is perfect. Defiantly recommend getting it! I’d first start off by trying it out because it can be a little complicated at first, but when you figure out the ropes, it’s not that hard.
fuffyloupe,
Overall great app!
Honestly I expected this to be bad and non user friendly, as most other free pixel art a-ps are, but I was pleasantly surprised! You can animate, draw, and it’s quite user friendly! A tiny bit confusing, but nothing a little bit of exploring the interface won’t fix.

I 100% recommend this to somebody who wants to start pixel art, or is just looking for a free app!

Amazing App for Creativity
I LOVE this this app it works so well for making art! The only thing I would want in it is a bigger grid to make things. I’ve tried to make art but even the biggest grid couldn’t fit it all making it not work as an animation. Other than that it’s a Amazing app and I would highly recommend trying it out!
