Description

Postknight reimagines the best parts of role-playing games into bite-sized bits within an exciting delivery adventure.

* Winner of IMGA SEA 2017 - Grand Prix *

The story follows the adventures of a Postknight — a knight who is tasked with difficult or dangerous deliveries — in the grand kingdom of Kurestal. Through deliveries, the postknight will meet other characters with different backgrounds while venturing across the kingdom of Kurestal and beyond.

Designed to be an enjoyable RPG for those on-the-go, Postknight is optimized for mobile devices: from content to controls, for hardcore and casual players, to time spent in and out of the game. Instead of spending long hours to experience the highlights of an RPG adventure, Postknight delivers it in small yet exciting pieces.

• Adorn Your Rewards
Your hard-earned armour and weapons don’t just improve your battle stats, they also look great on the postknight. Be great and glamorous in battle!

• Brilliant Blends
Mix your trusty potion up the way you want it to be: higher healing power, lower cooldown, or with more effective buffs?

• Better, Faster, Stronger
Every delivery run increases the postknight’s experience, along with strength, agility, intelligence and vitality. Allocate the traits that matter to you the most.

• Select Strategic Skills
Equip the postknight with skills and amoury perks that best suit your battle strategies!

• Exciting Expedition
Embark on a light-hearted adventure to various interesting towns and cities and meet its diverse inhabitants. While you’re at it, collect quirky loot and fantastic gear too!

• Bite-sized But Breathtaking
Postknight promises no draggy battles, but ensure that they will be equally exciting - especially when it comes to boss battles!

• Destiny & Dates
Throughout a postknight’s journey, there will be new faces that will become lasting relationships. Of course, every relationship needs effort, be it in the form of gifts, or just dropping by for a daily visit.

• Time Waits For No One, But…
Time continues to tick for the postknight even when you are not playing: deliveries will be sent out and rewards will await you when you return!

Girls you have ties with will wonder where you have gone too, so dropping by for a visit every now and then will keep their hearts at ease.

!!! IMPORTANT !!!
Supported devices are iPhone 5, iPad Mini 2 and iPad 3 or newer versions of these devices. iPad 2, iPad Mini, iPhone 4s and iPod Touch 5 are not supported.

Dude007:),
Honestly, The BEST game ever!!!
This game is so amazing!!! I just can’t even put into words how much I like it. It entertains me for hours and hours! The simple design and mechanics make it so fun, and I absolutely love the way the game looks! The animations are so smooth and fun to watch, and the wide variety of tasks are super fun!!! Every character in the game is so cute and lovable, and each has a unique personality, which is very rare for games. I can clearly tell that the devs put in so much effort to make this game, and honestly, I haven’t played any other games for quite a while!!! I love how there is so much to do, and so much detail in the levels!!! Ever since I got it, I’ve been doing so much from drawing my own postknight characters, to pretending that I am one!!! I really love this game and can’t wait to play some more! In fact, I think that’s what I’m going to do right now!!! Thank you so much for making this game, Kurechii (is that how you spell it?) and if you’ve made it to the end of this review, I definitely suggest that you download this game!!! It really is the best. game. ever!
chsufivkak,
Not great.
This game is good for the first few hours which I guess is all I wanted it for was something that I could do for a couple hours and not be bored. You level up pretty quickly in the beginning. Two delivery rounds and you’re already the next level. But you get to the second delivery post and the pirate guy is horribly hard to beat. You have to grind and grind and grind and then you’re level 37 or higher and you get to the THIRD delivery post and going through delivery rounds only gives you experience worth a hair??? And the enemies deal CRAZY damage??? I’m not even to the boss and I’m already having to grind JUST to get through ONE delivery round. AND I have to grind at the PREVIOUS delivery post just to gain a decent amount of experience to level up. If I try to grind at the third delivery post then I end up with a health bar so low that I have to wait and wait and wait for my health to get back up to full just to get back to a delivery round. This game was literally only fun for the first delivery post. After that it no longer felt fun it just felt like a chore. This game makes you become involved with it in the beginning and then makes you think it’s worth grinding for the second post and then the third post is even worse but you keep trying and then eventually the work is more than the reward that you get for trying and it’s no longer fun. Uh, BYE!
Awes0mEvan,
Could use improvement, still want the sequel
I don’t regret getting the game. It was really fun for the first half of gameplay. It had a charm like few others. It was great interacting with characters and upgrading all the equipment. Recently, however, I’ve been paying closer attention to it’s gameplay. I’ve eventually come to the conclusion that the game used to be quite fun, but I now consider it to simply be a chore for me. For a while it was nice being able to visit the NPCs and gift them things to raise their friendship, but now it’s just become “say hello to them, give them something, come back in 12 hours.” The personalities don’t really stand out in a way like Animal Crossing executes it. The combat isn’t particularly great either: there are three buttons that do the same thing, and all that really matters while you are fighting is a weak sense of timing.
Regardless, the game was really fun for the first half. Can’t wait for the sequel. I would recommend some things: make it less dependent on visiting the NPCs, add more strategies to combat, and PLEASE make it so that we don’t have to visit different villages to upgrade our potions with different ingredients. Thanks for reading my giant text dump.
TL,DR: Fun in early game, disappointing late game. If you want a chill game, play this.
Spiritpotato,
A Sad Standard for the Mobile Market
As with the majority of mobile games these days, it’s set up to fool you into thinking it’s a fun game. It does this by having about an hours worth of decent content, where progress is made at a good rate and difficulty scales well. But then, as you get farther in, the inevitable happens - they spike up the difficulty with stronger and more irritating enemies in an effort to force you into buying the premium currency so you can get the good gear. And after grinding what is essentially the same, reskinned level over and over for a while, you come to realize that those first couple few minutes of content were actually all there is to the game. It makes it seem like there’s more to it with new gear and rank ups and moves, but of course, it’s just the same level over and over with harder and harder enemies.

In the end, what did it for me was the enemies known as “Mykes.” They stun you every time you use your attack ability, which is all but required to make it through levels. So the only way to beat them if you can’t one hit K.O. them is to just sit their while you auto attack until you kill it, or, as is more likely, they kill you.

It’s a bad game, disguised as a decent one. The mobile market in a nutshell.
Blueberry Jammin,
GET THIS GAME
After playing the game for a while, I’ve noticed several things.
One: the game is challenging in a way that makes every delivered item and passed quest feel like an accomplishment.
Two: the animations are simple and adorable, giving the entire game a unique, calming, and pleasant charm that’s very nice to look at and gives the game a personality of its own
Three: the combat mechanics - all of them- are simple but effective. You always know what’s going on and how to counter it. If you don’t, you’ll figure it out eventually.
Four: looking through the reviews, the developers are extremely active in helping and updating their game, which I can respect. They care about the community and player base of their game and take the time to respond to most reviews - calmly -even with some bogus reviews people are leaving
Five: you can tell that overall lots of work and effort was put into this game to refine the mechanics and make everything work. And everything works pretty darn well
Six: I’m pretty sure there are micro transactions, but they’re so not in your face I forgot that they were there until I was thinking of what to write here. With all these other companies shoving micro transactions into your face constantly, this is a nice change

So if you don’t have this game, get it
And thanks to the developers for creating a free, easily accessible, really fun game that pulls no punches when it comes to anything.
Keep up the awesome work!
Stl statkiller,
Great game!
Overall the gameplay is smooth and I enjoy it. It's very simplistic but addicting. However as others have noted, there is quite a bit of frequent crashing, making grinding near impossible. If you have relationship status up to the point where the person will show up during battle, you may as well kiss your progress in that mission goodbye, as the game will crash 100% of the time. As well as this, the boss of the fourth area is impossible to grind as whenever the mission is completed the game crashed. Another issue/bug that I've run into is Asteria's gifts don't work.

This game is a five star game, however, the constant crashing and bugs bring it down to three stars. Until there are fixes to these bugs, I can't say I'll be playing this lovely game.

EDIT: Well, the problems have been fixed for a while, the game runs smooth as ever, I’m definitely recommending it to everyone who’s on the fence about getting it!
Eightbitgoddess,
Postal Adventure!
I have played this game now for a few months and I enjoy it pretty well. I like the graphics, cute characters, and cute and sometimes funny enemy creatures. I think it’s a neat concept of being a knighted postal worker who has to kill their way to a delivery point. I like that all of the towns are very different with their own cast of characters and pretty girls to woo. You can also level up your knight rank by completing a few quick side delivery quests you get from the talking mailbox. You also have the opportunity to adopt adorable pets! My one complaint is I really wanted a bird in Griffondell, I mean, it just makes sense! But that’s beside the point.

Levels are not just about “level up and you can beat it.” There is a bit of strategy and good use of the combination of sword and shield spells and figuring out which works best when and where.

My few minor gripes with the game, which are not star deduction worthy, are that there is no character customization outside of different armors, there are no classes to speak of, and the variety of side quest deliveries will eventually begin to repeat themselves.

Overall, it’s a fun game with a good concept that is executed nicely. I like that the levels are quick, so you don’t have to devote a huge chunk of time if you don’t have it, but pack in a lot of action regardless. Definitely download worthy for hours of fun.
KawaiiKitten666,
Love it :)
This game is one of the best mobile games I’ve ever played. Each delivery is short, but pack in a lot of content so you don’t have to sit down to play a level; you can play it on the go! In the busy modern world, the short little deliveries are a lot more convenient than a long, drawn out battle. I also love the concept of a Postknight, which fits this dangerous world. The only minor gripe I have is that changing between sets of armor can sometimes be a pain. I feel like there should be a button that lets you equip a whole set at once, so you don’t have to waste time switching each individual piece of armor. Thankfully, this has nothing to do with the actual game itself, and a lot to do with my laziness, so it’s not a real problem for anyone :) Other than that, this is a wonderful, bite-sized adventure waiting in your pocket, ready for you to enjoy at any time.
A pOtAtO kgn,
Great Game
This is a great game. I definitely recommend the download. There’s so much to do so you never get bored, and the art style is to die for! I love how you can get pets and build relationships with the townsfolk, it gives you a reason to keep coming back. A lot of people complain about how hard it gets if you go a lot further, but you just have to gain a few levels and you can keep going. That’s kind of a problem, though. Once you reach the max level, it’s a lot harder to persevere in the game. I’m on the last town, and the only way for me to get stronger is to upgrade armor, but everything in the last town is really expensive, and I can’t get the materials without completing stages, which I can’t do unless I’m strong, which I can’t be because I can’t get the materials. See how it’s a never ending cycle? I honestly don’t get how to complete the game at this point. Nonetheless, it’s a great game if you can get around that.
Alex2710,
Keeping Simple. Make sit a joy to play.
I see a lot of reviews talking about how this game is all pay to play.

But to be honest, it’s really not, it reminds me a lot of the mystery dungeon games where you have to do quests to level up and get stronger and increase your rank.

The game is simple in terms of gameplay but it’s also a lot of fun, you can level up and unlock new dash skills as well as shield skills to suit your play style.

There is tons of items to collect and trade for better weapons and gear, all of which can be done without spending any money. I have been playing this game for over 2 years now and have not once spent any money on it. It feels satisfying to level up your character watch them grow and earn enough gold to spend at the shop and get that shiny new sword you had your eye on.

Like most Mobile games, you can opt to spend some money to make grinding easier, so you don’t have to sit and play the game and just get the good stuff right away, but then what’s the point? You haven’t earned anything or grew as a player.

Spending is completely optional. The game is rather short, and if you find that the latter enemies are giving you trouble, it’s probably because your moving to quickly and not increasing your rank and completing missions.
