This update should make the app feel much faster, especially on older devices. We've spent the past month going through the code and making it as performant as possible and are excited about the results!

Great for beginners!
I recently got into gardening and was struggling to find a one-stop for gardening knowledge. When I came across this app it was great. There are many vegetables with guides that allow you all the knowledge required to help you start growing your own produce. On top of this, you are able to enter your location to see when you should plant things in your area. Once you have figured out what you want to plant and when you can plant it, the note/log feature is handy to keep track of when your plant has sprouted, when you have watered last, and much more. The one thing I wish was more detailed are the specific seed types that you are planting, but I know this can be hard to implement as there are so many different kinds out there and such. I have given five stars because the family behind this app has gone above and beyond and I am excited to see what they will add to the app in the future.

Overall Great, sometimes glitchy
I downloaded this app to keep myself more organized on all the gardening tasks, journaling and note taking. Overall, this is a fantastic resource with tons of info, planting guides, and a calendar. I love that I can add images for my plants and keep detailed notes for each variety. I do have a rather large garden, so I have MANY types of plants and several varieties of each type. Sometimes when adding events to the plant log, the app will freeze or glitch so horribly I have to close and reopen. I have noticed this occurs most often with logging events for multiple plants. This isn’t a deal breaker for me though, because honestly it’s still easier than handwriting or trying to put everything into Excel correctly. I contacted technical support with a different question and received an answer within an hour of my inquiry, which speaks volumes about their customer service. I will continue to use this app, and encourage everyone to give it a try because it has definitely made my gardening more organized.

My go to gardening app
I am relatively new to gardening and have not had as much of a success with many plants other then peppers. I discovered this app through a gardening Facebook group and it has changed my life. For me the hardest part is predicting when to start my plants and this gives the window you should plant for your zone and it takes out the guesswork. You can also create your own garden and add life events to the plant and it gives you your first estimated harvest which is so awesome. I am discovering new things everyday because of this app and all the amazing information it has. The best part about it is that it is free to use. I did see the garden plus part will become a paid feature in the future but I am completely okay and willing to pay for it in exchange for the information it provides. Please use this app it will change your life!

I love this app. I am new to gardening and this makes things so easy and completely takes out the guess work. It calculates when the last frost date is for your location and gives you a planting window and also a harvest window. It tells you what bugs to expect for what plants and how to get rid of them. It also tells you what plants are friends. All this info on this app and the app is FREE 99!! …for now. But honestly I’m willing to pay with everything that it has now and what they’re planning to add with the upgrade. They’ll be multiple other features that I can’t think of right now but what I’m excited about is the watering schedule. Like are you kidding me? I won’t have to keep up with watering/fertilizing for every single plant and the app will do it for me??? Take my money, they can’t update it fast enough

So far I love the app!!! Even tho I haven’t gotten my garden up yet! I can’t wait to start using!!! I was looking for a expansive yet simple app for when I plant my seeds that will help me keep track of them & I found this app!!! Only thing I have a problem with is it popped up for me to rate the app & when I went to click to rate it didn’t open the App Store or nothing... Even when I went to the side bar menu to click ‘Please help us with a review’ it wouldn’t open 🤷🏻♂️ not sure if that’s a bug in the app or just on the website... Anyway thank you for an awesome app.
One thing can you addd the ability to plot & lay out a garden by size & then able to select what you want growing there... so we could see what we got where 🤷🏻♂️ I saw another app that had that but would be nice if it was in this app but made better😊

Glitches and More Variety Please
I started using this app a couple of months ago and do enjoy how I can keep everything organized. I do wish there was a wider expanse of plants and flowers too - like Calendula. And I wish it would allow you to add the subgroups of the plants since the existing ones are so limited.
My biggest issue is changing the plant picture. I click on the three dots to change my cover picture of the plant and it doesn’t change it. It does add it to its photos list and then I need to hit the change picture again option for it to finally reflect it. I am currently trying to change the cover picture of some new plants I added to my garden and it won’t save the picture at all. I’ve tried different pictures, different plants, and it won’t reflect the saved image nor will it even save it. Super frustrating. Help!

Informative!
I haven’t had a chance to really go through the app but the biggest advantage that I noticed is how they categorized the plants with their health benefits. That is very helpful for someone (like me) that wants to grow food that can assist with certain health issues. I don’t remember if you have a preferred neighbor/grows good with section in the plants information for people that use raised beds or if this is for separate potting only, but either way that information would be very helpful to know as well. I really like when you input the information for the seed that it gives you an estimated date for sprouting and for harvest. That is helpful and was wondering if you can have it link with the calendar to help keep track with the sprouting/harvesting. So far it’s very informative.

GREATEST TOOL FOR YOUR GARDEN!
I love this app! It is very helpful, especially for beginner gardeners. I am able to not only keep track of when I planted certain crops/plants, but I can keep track of when I should plant certain plants, their progress, how often I fertilize, how often I water, when they’ve sprouted and when they should sprout, when they should be ready to harvest, and so on! I love being able to open the app and see what plants are great for companion planting and which pests to look out for per plant! The plant list range could be more diverse but there is the opportunity to add custom plants manually if they’re not already listed, so that’s a huge plus! Overall I think this app is an essential tool to have for all your gardening!

I absolutely love this app. It’s helped me so much with staying organized and understanding what I want to grow. My favorite feature is seeing what goes well together and what does not. I’m excited to see the garden + feature as well when it’s released! A beginner gardener would not feel overwhelmed using this.

Disappointing
Very basic app I used for a couple years. It did the very basic I needed—kept up with my plant date, basic plant notes and allowed me to add photos and locations in my yard. It rarely has the variety I plant, the correct time to harvest, and often crashed when I went searching for other info so I didn’t use it beyond basic record keeping. So imagine my huge surprise when I opened the app today for the first time in awhile to archive some of last years plants and add some things I just started for spring and nothing would happen BECAUSE NOW YOU HAVE TO UPGRADE AND PAY! That’s a huge nope. This app was never worth paying for. I very much appreciated it free. I actually tried to make purchases to their linked store a couple times, but that was a hot mess. Absolutely will not pay for this. Sorry. Will look elsewhere, and someone out there will fill the basic need we have.
