Great app but one minor problem
Spelling Bee is a great app. When I first bought it, things were going great. However, when I was joining the 5th grade class it asked me to buy it. I don’t like that. You should just be able to go into every class freely. Also when you are getting into either the app or settings, it asks you for your password. Honestly, I don’t mind that problem that much, but it would be nice to have a change. Overall, this app is an AWESOME app, and I would recommend it to people who have an interest in spelling. This app is also great for Spelling Bee representatives. So overall, I think this app is great, however I would like to see this fixed.

Not for creating lists
I suppose if you are looking for pre selected lists this may be helpful. Or if the only words you need to study are basic K-2 already listed in app. This is the only way I can imagine the amount of positive reviews it has received.
Trying to study for your spelling list at school or creat your own is a disaster of time suckage. In theory, to add words specific to you or your child, add a picture, add a description and have a test plus games would be amazing! In reality you will add words, pictures and boards just to find that they disappear. I have spent hours trying to create lists only to have them revert back to empty or the default (bizarre) picture.
The app crashes every 15 min or so and locks up periodically. Trust me I have tried everything! Like I said, if it worked it would be great! Unfortunately the program is just not there. This goes for all Bitsboard apps, I have tried several in past years, upgraded to PRO several times to no avail.
Don’t do what my family did, we wasted many hours and money. Tried again this week (2/2/20) to set up a board, spent at least 2 hrs, only to have the board disappear then reappear with half the words and back to the “default” pictures. Also on several games the audio does not work.

Disappointed
At first, I thought this app would be a great way to study for my upcoming spelling bee. But unfortunately, when I tried to join a class, it charged me $5. I think that you should be able to join classes freely. When I got into the app, it only let me have one board to use. I would suggest including more free boards to use. It is an awesome idea, but it could be executed better. I do like the many different spelling games though. Another problem was the homophones. One of the words was “weight” and I was playing the spelling bee minigame. They play a recording of the word, so I didn’t know if it meant “wait” or “weight”. I typed “wait” and it counted it as wrong. There should be a sentence option where you can see the word in a sentence. Again, in the true or false minigame, it showed the word “wait”. I knew that it was the correct spelling of the word “wait”, so I pressed true. But I was told that I was incorrect. They meant “weight”. I do not think this word should be in the true or false game.

No sample
This app implies there is some measure of sample when it allows a download without purchase. This is the customary function of the Get button in the App Store. After downloading to the phone, nothing can be played without first paying $4.99. I would have happily paid that price for spelling software I was happy with but I will not being giving any money to a developer that won’t give me even a sample, especially after I downloaded the app under the impression there would be at least something to see how the game worked. Either use the Get button, give a sample and option to unlock the rest of he app or put the price up front before download with better examples and explanation of why the app is worth the money up front.
On top of that, I couldn’t even get a profile properly set up without internal error messages demanding a password. If I can’t even get a simple profile established in the settings, and I can’t see a sample, there isn’t a change I’ll waste $4.99 to try to go further with this app.

Freezes in Media Picker
Love that you can add your own spelling lists, but when I go to change default pictures given to my words, the "Media Picker" has started freezing on me. What should take a few minutes takes forever, and I have given up on changing the pictures.
Just for more fun, today I finally got the media picke web search to populate to choose a new picture for the word South. I clicked on a compass rose and when it expanded to full size, it was a marijuana leaf. It happened three times in a row with different pictures.
About a week ago, I put in a new list and let the app populate default pictures. As I clicked through to preview/change individual pictures, I found a picture of a man's mid-section with his hand down his pants. Um, might want to work on your default picture selections. I can't remember what the word was.

Amazing but flawed
I think that this app is amazing for people that need to study for tests or even the Spelling bee😊! I am very dissatisfied with the fact that you have to pay for the classes and thank god I don’t have automatic charging to my card. I would recommend this app to anyone, but I would love to see this problem fixed for I think that education is priceless and should be accessible to anyone

Please Fix This..
This spelling game is a really fun and helpful game. There are a lot of varieties of games all in one that will help your spelling. There are things such as spelling bee, word builder, word search, etc. There are minor issues in the game that cause me not to get 100%. One example is in the Spelling Bee. It says “wait” so I type in “wait”. It says it wrong so I check the answers and it’s “weight”. How am I suppose to know which one it is?! Also, it says “doesn’t”. “Oh, this is pretty easy.” So I type in “doesn’t” WRONG. How it is wrong?! Once again...I check the answers. Answer: “doesn’t” “Ok...I’ll just copy it down”. Hmm.. weird.. I type in “doesn’t” WRONG. “...” I honestly have NO clue what I did wrong. If I didn’t and it’s just the game, please fix this... Thank you for reading 🤝🙏

Good and bad
Okay, I like the game but when it says “wait” I get triggred. because it’s either “weight” or “wait”. I think you guys should make the classes for free first and far most because your app is free but not your classes. My national school spelling bee is happening and thanks a lot I got 54th place! Make the classes free just because they said “Buckeye” I saw in one of the classes and they assigned that class to be studied AND BEACUSE OF THAT STUPID MONEY(the ppl who made this gold diggers!) I GOT 54TH PLACE AND I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS GAME AND SPELLING BEES!

Good, but still needs improvement.
It’s a bit annoying that it forces us to enter a 3-digit child-lock passcode to get into anything (as though our child can’t read the spelling out of the numbers!). Also, when you enter your own spelling words in for your child to play the games, there are frequently lots of errors where the actual word they are testing on doesn’t match up with the word that the audio recording announces. For example, the audio will read the word “disappear”, but the actual word that they are testing on is “because” when you press the button to reveal the word. :(

Not great, but not too bad
I downloaded this app to study for my school spelling bee. I spent like 15 minutes putting my words into the create board thing, but then I thought I had lost them. I hadn’t tho so it’s not a big deal or anything. Also, sometimes you get audio and sometimes you just get a picture and I couldn’t find a way to change that on settings, which was annoying. They also auto search for images, so some have the word in them, for example cavil on mine, and others like gangrene or martyr have really disturbing images that are definitely not for kids.
