One of my father’s stories was my favorite: “Once upon a time there lived a merchant with his wife. The family was happy and had never known grief. However, their maid, Julianne, was jealous of the little family's happiness and secretly dreamed of taking the place of a beloved wife. She learned of unholy powers hidden deep within the manor that could be summoned by a ritual … although there was a cost. She cursed the merchant's wife, unleashed deadly powers. The merchant vows to devote the rest of his life to finding a way to release his beloved wife from her cursed world.”
Years have passed. My father dies, but he leaves me a message: “Your favorite fairy tale was the true story of our family. I tried to free your mother's spirit, but I failed. I beg you to finish what I could not. The solution is waiting in our old family home.”
As a son, I must “write” the happy ending for my family’s story.

I’m in love with this game
Wow this game is incredible, this might be the first game I fall in love with haha. It’s such a good game from the graphics and the music, to the story that brings this game to life!! In fact the story in the game is so good it sounds like it could be a real story. I will most definitely say this is the best game I’ve ever downloaded and the puzzles are actual puzzles I love how it doesn’t have those candy crush puzzles to solve a mystery.
My only problem is that I have to pay to unlock the whole game it’s a little sad cause I was hooked when I started playing, other than that this game is perfect I would most definitely recommend it!! Oh and one more thing I like this game because it has paranormal things in the game which is also part of the story I mean how much better could this game get it mixes mystery’s and paranormal stuff in the game I want to continue playing but I can’t pay for it...

I believe this game has potential,however it closes out almost every time I change locations. I am able to get back into the game by restarting but it is super annoying. I would like to buy the entire game, but will wait for an update first. Please fix the stability.
UPDATE 2: After updating I played the game through with only 1 crash (when entering the grotto area at the end of the game). Thank you to developers for the quick response to this. Overall a good game. I have also updated my rating to 5. Keep up the good work and we will support your company. I am anxious for your next release.
UPDATE: I am playing on the ipadPro latest edition 12.9 display, 256gb. I bought the game hoping it would improve, however the problems remained. I finally made it “almost” to the end, but the game froze after crossing the beams to open the portal, and I was unable to finish.

Impressed
Just wanted to take a minute and say this is a very good game. I literally have purchased every game in this genre and was quite upset when I learned that Big Fish wasn’t doing these types of games anymore. However it’s a relief to see that we haven’t been abandoned, and that there are still other people who will continue making these games. This game has a really nice quality about it. Great music, great graphics. Thank you for making this game. I read that it took you guys 3 1/2 yrs. to make this game and it shows. Nice job. I have played your other games as well and I thought you guys weren’t making games anymore I’m really glad I was wrong. If you keep making them I will be a loyal customer and buy them. Again thank you for making this game it’s definitely encouraging.. look forward to what your going to do next.

Stormhill Mystery
This was a well done game. Very creative and great storyline for a HOP/Puzzle type game. There weren’t any HOP’s but puzzles and searching for inventory items to complete tasks were appropriate and fun. Nothing too tough but still made me think. I wish it would have been a little longer game play as I found it shorter than most BigFish Games. But it was a couple dollars cheaper too. All said I have no regrets and am happy I purchased it

I really enjoyed this game! It’s hard to find games like this without there being multiple hidden object scenes in them of this quality. I love finding and using objects throughout a game, the adventure and good story with some puzzles added. You’ve released 2 games like this so far and I check regularly in hopes of a 3rd. Fantastic job! Players of this genre are all very desperate for more games of this quality. I hope we see one very soon!

Like a Good Show! Sooo good!
I got sucked in! Loved every bit. The challenges actually stumped me quite a bit and were fun to figure out. Graphics storyline music etc. all good! I even played the Bonus story, which turned out to be super cool!!! It was intriguing and entertaining to see how the 2 stories aligned! I wish it would have gone on and on forever even though it was actually a satisfyingly lengthy game for me!

It’s okay.
The game is interesting and the puzzles are kind of challenging sometimes, but I don’t think it’s worth it to purchase the extra gameplay. The amount of free play is about equal to the time it takes to finish the rest of the game. For $5, I was expecting a little more than that. This only entertained me for a couple hours. I guess I would have preferred something that took at least long enough to leave and come back to later instead of something I could finish all in one sitting. Maybe that’s just me though.

It can be challenging to find a good game in this genre, but this developer did a good job imo. Voiced characters go a long way, the story is par for the course but fine, the puzzles can be a bit trite but range from simple to challenging. Big Fish would ask $6+ for something similar and it would 1 of hundreds they make constantly imo. I also really like that you can play a bit and then decide about paying to play the whole game.

This is my first game like this. I am giving this 5 stars because I am very happy with my experience so far. I was confused at first because it was labeled as free. I played for a bit, then it sent me back to the beginning. My wife told me this is normal because it lets you see the game before you buy it. I assumed it was free for the whole game. But hey, what is free in life anymore? I will have to play more games to see if this is the norm.

This game is going to be on my mind for a long time. The imagery is everything I’ve wanted, and I was sad when it ended. I want to live at Stormhill! The art, music, activities, and ambience are so soothing and spookily enchanting! Maybe someday you can design a holographic Stormhill experience when augmented reality becomes more accessible :)
