Man the tail gun in this WWII action/arcade shooter! Use your phone's gyroscope or touchscreen to aim your guns, and touch either red button to open fire.
Guns! Rack your twin .50-cals to defend your bomber against the ever-growing waves of Axis fighters.
Planes! Me-109s, FW-190s, Bf-110s, Me-262s; whatever the Axis can throw at you.
Lives! You only get 5. Once 5 enemy fighters make it past your defenses, it's game over for you and your flight crew.

Always challenging and fun.
First review I write because this game is such a fun time waster. I’ve been playing campaign mode for about a week now and so far I’m at Wave 81 and I’m a General of The Army (*****) five star general. The game is challenging and even if you’re good you can still get swarmed. There is strategy involved as well as in what kinda power ups you should save up for and purchase (I always purchase at least two FLAK power ups to defeat the battle wave. Also you have to get good at leading the enemy with your bullets and once you get used to each planes idiosyncrasies and flight mechanics you can lead them and get critical hits each time. Do I still get times where I shoot zero planes down? Absolutely, but the fact that I lose yet still win and advance in the game makes it fun and challenging and a great recommendation for all WWII history buffs who want a lil action without too much bells and whistles.

I think it’s awesome
This is my 3rd time rating , lol, still a five star game. As far as my experience goes the repeated asking to rate only happens when you get a new device , or have to reset your device or uninstall and reinstall the game for some reason. Game is great don’t change a thing, I bought the no add version some 4 devices ago , I add it to each one and get my no add version each time no problem. I thought to ask for gun upgrades and then thought no, this game has a progression of difficulty that’s awesome and you would have to change that probably. So I thought how about a Tail Gun Charlie 2 ? What do you say mr. developer? This is still my go to time killer though, it should stay as is I think.

Top Of The Line!
Tail Gun Charlie is, by far, one of the highest quality, most realistic, shooter games that I have ever played! I have been playing shooter, games for years, and the realism, accuracy of point-and-shoot, and real life excitement that this game provides and generates is second to none! I highly recommend it, especially for enthusiasts of World War II shooter games! Give it a try, and you’ll be hooked!!

If you were a fan of the old Terminator, Beach Head midway shooter games, this is for you. I am so glad the programmers still take playability into consideration. Graphics are Excellent! The Air combat is slowed down to realism. I would rate this game 10 stars if they let me! I love this game! I would play it every day if I didn’t have to work for a living!

Love this game!
This game has so many levels and power ups. I’ve had it for over a year. One of the things I like, beside smooth game play is you can decide if to want to watch commercials to get more shields or not. Clear graphics and never lags. Also you don’t have to be on line to play. It’s a fun and challenging game!

Awesome Game!
Hands down the best shooting game out there. Realistic, fun, relatively usable for most age groups and I must say, quite realistic. Love the sound of the guns, strafing and empty casings hitting the floor. I’ve flown in some old bombers and although never wanted to be a tail gunner, this is the next best thing. God bless the troops that did this to protect freedom. Thank you for making a great game - tons of fun!!

Lots of potential
I think you’ve got the core of a really great game that just needs a story mode. It reminds me of “into the dead” app. It was fun enough, but I would only play it for short stints. Then they used it as the core of “into the dead 2”, which basically just wraps it in a story, and I couldn’t put it down. Play the two versions if you haven’t already and you’ll see exactly what I’m talking about.

This game has very few glitches and is so much fun to play. I wish they would increase the difficulty level by giving more planes to combat rather than suddenly make the same plane much harder to defeat. But overall, a fantastic game. I’d love to see more variety more situations different planes.

Awesome...Ambiance...Action
A terrific game with nostalgic ambiance and terrific, so far glitch free action. The only thing missing is (as far as I can tell) being able to inflict damage on the battleships below. Maybe a “power up” to drop a bomb or at least be able to see damage on ships? Great game!

“I’m Hooked!”
Decided to try this app after its advertisement swooped through while engaged in a similar app. Anytime something occupies me intensely and makes me totally oblivious to time, I can say I’m hooked. The only reason I want give it 5 stars yet is because that someone erodes the developer’s ability to strive to making a good app much better.
