Apalna,
The Best!
I have several apps for learning to read/write/speak Thai and I love that this one includes the vowels! AND I love how you can separate groups like just the short vowels or just the high consonants because that’s typically how they’re taught, in groups.
My only issue has been that it sometimes changes screens when I intended to tap on something. Then I have to start back at the top when I return to the screen I wanted.
Not sure if it’s a glitch, my phone or just me.
This app has been very helpful!
K-Gree,
Great FREE App. Missing a Quiz Mode!
This is NOT a stand alone app it you want to learn the Thai alphabet, the tone rules, etc. It IS however, a great app for drilling the characters, vowels, the basic numbers and their corresponding sound and Thai spelling.

I give this app 4 stars because besides the annoying adds, the occasional lag, and the unintentional shifting from one screen to the next when I intend to tap on a card to hear the sound... the only thing I think this FREE app is missing is the ability to choose and isolate cards I want to get more proficient at and MOST importantly it NEEDS a Quiz Mode!
YomogiBlue,
Transliteration
This is an elegant, well-organized app. I love it. For me, what would make it perfect is to have the transliteration written with IPA with tone marks. The high class consonants contain rising tones. It helps to see how they are written plus hear how they are pronounced. I would also like a feature that allows the user to sort according to need. For example, I’d love the option to sort by consonant class.
Upstakes,
Helpful
Voice seem to be well done. Display well done and efficiently informative ... but would like more functionality. Especially helpful would be a flash card function. Problem is you see the letter, you can’t help but see all information about that letter. Makes it difficult to memorize the letters when at slight glance, you see everything. Hence, really needs flash card functionality. If nothing else, flash cards with all consonants, vowels, numbers, everything jumbled in one deck would be especially helpful.
I make video games,
Indispensable :)
This app has become indispensable to be as an beginning adult student of Thai.

I’ve been using a great set of physical Thai script flash cards but I obviously don’t take those everywhere. Also, it’s much quicker to look something up in this app, being able to scan all the letters at once.

It may be missing a few things for more advanced students, for instance I don’t see the “transforms” of short vowels for when they’re followed by a final consonant... or the rules like รร -> ส, which the physical flash cards have - but it’s still great :)

Thanks for making this app :)

Consonants and Vowels
This is a very handy program. It works well. You can easily look up a vowel or a consonant and it verbally gives you the correct pronunciation when you tap on it. It's the only iPhone App I could find that helps me in this way with memorization, pronunciation and tone.
fRAWnco,
Amazed by first few minutes
I've only been testing it for a few minutes and I love it. I am sure I can learn the alphabet with this app. Thank you. Please keep it as it is.
Marky713,
Great app for beginning Thai learners
Thanks to those who take initiative and help non-native speakers learn the Thai alphabet. The UI is very helpful. I like having the ability to show/hide each letter's picture.
ImpossibleNickname42,
App content clear but room to improve
I notice the contrast in this app is low so it is not the easiest to see. Also would prefer to have a voice reading of these consonants and vowels to compare.
Mick Rom,
Needs to be updated
Love the app. Wish the sounds worked better and wish the app was updated for the new iPhones.
