The Quest Classic - Attack from Asteroids is an expansion to The Quest Classic, a beautifully hand-drawn, immersive and enchanting world full of exciting challenges. After enabling the expansion, you can continue to play The Quest Classic with your existing character(s) to explore new areas and quests. However, if you don't have The Quest Classic, you can also play the expansion as a standalone game.
You're on Captain Hanty's ship when suddenly the stars blow up around you. You sense a summons and feel great pain as you are sucked through the Abyss into another place and time. You have been called to the Asteroids once again. The Elemental Lord awaits you...
You thought you killed Hemma but you only sent him to the Astral Plain -- he's back and has assembled a horror show of creatures who have captured the Asteroid Mage. It's your mission to save her, but -- you know the drill -- it's not going to be easy. There are monsters who love to hate you and puzzles and traps. It's all in a day's work.
To access the new areas (not applicable if you are playing the expansion standalone), go to Mithria harbor and talk to captain Hanty, then select "Attack" as your travel destination. It is recommended to reach at least level 58 before trying to take on the challenges of this new expansion. Please note that after you have traveled to your destination, you'll have no way back for a while (except if you have Marked a spot), so it is also recommended that you keep a save in Mithria.
The game uses File Sharing in iTunes. You can save and restore your save game files (named "TheQuestSaveX.pdb", where X can be 0 to 20) using iTunes (go to the Apps/File Sharing section when your device is plugged in)

Huge and creative expansion!
This is one of the best Quest expansions yet - the developers get more and more creative with the dungeons, puzzles, story lines, etc. A must-buy for fans of the Quest series and for old-school RPG fans in general!

Plays like a first person version of "final fantasy" Easily the most customizable and largest games on iPhone with the most replay value. Buy the quest gold for the best value then you can add all the quests as expansions to it. This allows you to use the same hero or villain you create throughout the whole quest universe. Get the mark and recall spell and instantly teleport back and forth between new worlds.

Another great expansion to this great questing game.
Tons of equipment to enchant, lots of great puzzles and side-quests, and a super well written and interwoven storyline.
Well worth the price of admission.
After a lot more game play, thought I would come back and add a few more comments.
The Quest UI is well know to us old timers, but when played on the iPad this game takes on a much more user friendly taste with the large x2 buttons et al. In short, this game is best played on the iPad ... IMHO
For you newbies that have never played a turn based dungeon quest, you should give this one a whirl as a stand alone game. I bet you come back here to buy the Gold Quest package. Hours and hours of questing fun.
Since this is for higher level characters so might first shy away. But don't go. This game comes with pregenerated high level characters that are very survivable in the tough Asteroid world. In this high level game you will get to see skills and abilities that take a VERY long time to acquire playing the game from the first episode. But as they say, sometimes the journey is more important than the destination.
If anything, this game played as stand alone gives you an excellent flavor of EVERYTHING this great quest series has to offer making you want to grab that first episode and start from scratch. Search the App Store with "The Quest" ... tons and tons of dungeon quests will result.
I play a lot of dungeon quests games ... a lot ... this series is the best by far. Worth every penny and then some.
