Thrive: Mental Wellbeing is an evidence-based app to prevent and manage stress, anxiety, and related conditions. Developed in the UK by specialists with many years of clinical experience, the app uses easy to learn clinically proven techniques to help you live a happier, more relaxed, stress-free life.







The app helps you monitor your mood and teaches you relaxation techniques such as meditation and deep muscle relaxation that with practice have shown to help people cope better with stressful situations. It also has a 'thought trainer' programme based on cognitive behavioural therapy to help you manage those negative thoughts. With no rules to use the app, you are free to jump in for 3 minutes to relax before a stressful situation or use more regularly to improve resilience and keep stress under control.





How do we know it works?







We have thousands of users worldwide. We are not trying to reinvent the wheel - we use techniques that have been practised in hospitals and clinics for years, but in a fun, game-based format. We have a research programme in partnership with the University of Roehampton focused on continuously improving engagement and efficacy.

Using our Mood Meter you have a confidential platform to track your mood, the emotions you feel, and the situation you were in. We then help you to reframe this, thinking positively about a certain aspect of the situation and reminding you what you did on a specific day to make you feel good. By remembering what we can change rather than what we can not, we can help ourselves to control our emotional state and live happier lives!

Thrive is free for our users but it is provided alongside other services beyond the app itself. Thank you all very much for all your suggestions and feedback. in this release, we bring you a new daily checkup feature. We have made it much simpler and easier for you to do a daily check-in with yourself, record your mood and track your goals. You can do it more than once per day as well as it will be available in the Assessments tab.

The Mood Meter with all its components is still available to you when you want to create a more detailed journal entry as part of the CBT programme.

Breathing easier
I appreciate this app so much. I’ve always had anxiety when my daily responsibilities have overwhelmed me. But the breathing exercises and ‘retraining my brain’ with positive thoughts has been life changing. Thank you for making this!!!

Excellent calming -- but much more
This Thrive app does a great job helping me to calm my mind, from the moment I open it when I listen to the music, to the time I'm practicing one of their meditation sessions. I've tried other apps and websites that claim to lower stress, but, to me, who has practiced mindful meditation for several decades, the others are overly focused on calming the mind. That's fine, but limited. Thrive is bolstered by clinically proven methods to target the cause of the monkey mind and other sources of stress, not just the symptoms.

Awesome app!
This app does everything it promises. I have used each of the options and my favorites are the deep breathing and deep muscle. I find that when I am stressed or anxious the app quickly helps me to relax and focus. I have recommended the app to my colleagues who have also found it helpful.

Better Sleep
Most nights I use the breathing portion of this app to help me get to sleep. It is terrific and I am off like a light. I also use it when I am in stressful situations, like the doctors, and it helps calm me down.
