We're excited to add some extra security to WorryTree so that your worried thoughts are even more secure - this is especially for you if other people in your household use your device. It does now mean that if you move out of WorryTree you'll need to put your PIN in again - in the next release coming very soon we'll be adding a toggle in Settings so you can turn this feature off if you don't find it helpful.

We've also had requests for more information about how WorryTree works when you first install our app, and so we've added a few new screens at the start to help explain what it's all about and how using WorryTree regularly will help you worry less and feel better!

Your data is now encrypted which means that everything you type into WorryTree is protected from anyone trying to hack into your device. This extra layer of security is in place whether you have set a PIN code for WorryTree or not. I'm so excited to introduce you to our latest release because it brings our biggest changes to WorryTree yet! Firstly, we've introduced the ability to download, save and share your worry data so that you can share your worries with your therapist before your next session if you want to. We've also added WorryTree Plus, bringing you extra content so that you can now address your uncertainties and give some thought to the different negative thinking styles and how they might be affecting you. WorryTree Plus users will also be able to edit their past worries and review what actually happened, as well as connect WorryTree to their own calendar (so you can schedule actions into your calendar) and set up optional push notifications if you need a reminder to check in with yourself and whether you're worrying (to help you establish the habit of catching your worries in the act). The basic worry recording process of WorryTree will always be free to use but we've added WorryTree Plus so that our regular users can get more support. We're not app developers, we're just ordinary people who worry a lot and wanted to create something that supports other people like us. WorryTree has therefore always been self-funded, but to enable us to continue to improve and add features and to keep it advertising-free we felt it was the right time to add a premium version. Wow!
I couldn’t sleep - stressing about worries. Found this. This is so simple and positive.

A lot of choices to personalize & simple explanations. I highly recommend the paid version. I went with the monthly. $2 a month doesn’t stress me. You can change it in the Apple ID subscriptions. (You can also cancel there - so don’t be afraid to try it.)

Part of the reason I paid is that I want to app to be supported for a long time. So if we pay, we get to have it longer.

I did make some suggestions already and their suggestion form suggests they are very open.
