Amazing staff
Lacks has amazing nurses and doctors who make you feel like they are truly there to help you and not just get you in and out… on to the next patient. They have really great communication letting you know how long each treatment will be that you’re coming in for. The only thing I would say is sometimes they are a bit slow on prepping meds. We made a point to make it to each appointment early so we didn’t have to wait for labs or wait for meds to get mixed but it still never failed. Time after time we’d end up waiting for meds and we always arrive as early as we could. Still really like the groups of doctors and nurses at this facility they really do work hard to make sure you have what you need and that you’re doing well through your infusion.

Great App for medical
The App is so much better than previous ones Trinity has used. This way I get to contact my doc directly rather than calling the office and trying to explain what I need to a nurse who has no idea who on earth I am or what’s going on with my health. I love that I can request med refills easily through the app. I get appointment reminders, I can make appointments, can see the test results and can even email billing when there’s been a mix up with BCBS. I’m telling you that this app saves me time on the phone and is absolutely the way to manage your health. When I caught Covid, the app allowed my doc to stay in contact with me while I was isolated and because all the docs you see regularly through Trinity/Mercy are listed, I was able to send my Neuro an email letting them know I had to cancel due to Covid…and given I had no voice at the time, the email ability alone was worth it’s weight in gold! If you’re a Trinity patient I highly recommend this app.
Derekhouse7,
Ok but some flaws
The app is very useful and has streamlined a number of functions that previously were difficult. However there are some flaws such as the inability to add a saved payment option on an iPhone XS because the save button is blocked by the nickname box. Also, using online check in doesn’t work (I checked in and the office didn't know that I had). Also there is no positive confirmation of check in nor a way to see that the check in had been seen. I would suggest having a status indicator that shows the user the steps of a check in, like check in submitted, check in confirmed, nurse received, nurse on the way, etc. that way if the front desk missed it you can see that and call in and not need to wait so long. I think it would also be helpful to have a broader set of subjects when communicating with the medical team. Such as adding prescription refill request, new prescription needed, etc. currently the only option is non-urgent medical question but I bet the docs would appreciate a little more bifurcation of issues.

Love the “MyChart” program
I wasn’t sure about the MyChart portal at first. I think everyone is exhausted with businesses and service providers of all kinds creating “self service” programs, advertised as time savers and convenience enhancers for the customer/patient/member/client, but unfortunately too many of those arrangements don’t really perform as advertised and the general public ends up feeling like, once again, their time and convenience is the last priority on anyone’s list.

In this case, however, my initial concerns and misgivings proved to be misplaced. The MyChart portal has proven to be a huge benefit for me in managing and tracking every element of my health care experience. Whether I’m scheduling an appointment, checking on various test results, or just trying to remember some detail of my health profile, I have found MyChart to be an invaluable tool and resource.

Thank you St Peters, for initiating this innovative and helpful program!
StarlettC,
Everything, everywhere, all the time!
It is very nice to have a complete record, that is easy to access by me and my providers and have it so available to update. I really enjoy being able to message my doctors and get meaningful, personalized responses so we are making good decisions about my health in between visits. Sometimes in lieu of a visit. I appreciate the reminders about visits, prescriptions and procedures scheduled. And the ability to do self check-in makes visits so much easier!

Making payments through the billing system is really a much less stressful process. The bill and insurance info are available, I get reminders and my credit card info is stored so I just hit a button or two and it is done! Only thing easier would be if I never had a bill!

Thanks for providing this tool. Don’t jet it get outdated or cumbersome.

My Chart
My Chart is an amazing system that allows greater communication between patient and providers. Not only that but for the first time ever the patient has access to their own health history and test results. The patient has the ability to easily view any and all medical summaries, observations and test results. In the past it was possible to ask for a certain percentage of your records to be printed and then given to the patient but this rarely included any and all documentation provided. My personal favorite about the system is the easier access to communication between my doctor and myself…and no more sitting on hold waiting to be connected. The only downside that I can think of are that electronics/internet systems possibly replacing human employment??? I love MyChart and think that whoever designed this system must be very intelligent.😁

Excellent App for my medical records
This app is an excellent, portable way to view my medical results upon completion of all testing results as well as share my results with my various doctors. I have been using this app for a few years and it has been a life saver! Additionally, when my mom fell I’ll last year with dementia and renal failure, I was able to have her testing results immediately available since I was her care manager. I was able to share results with multiple doctors who otherwise didn’t have her information. Same with me. I went to my primary care doctor yesterday who ordered additional testing. It all came though within hours on the same day- I already have a call into my doctors to review the results with me.
I can’t say enough about this app and medical resource!
Dawn Meri,
I find this app very easy to use and gives me a piece of mind.
I have had other doctors and other platforms in which I have tried to obtain access to my records and communication with doctors. What I have found is that those apps were too confusing and there was always a jungle gym to get through just a sign in. My chart, I have found to be very easy accessible very easy to navigate through.. and I absolutely love the fact that I don’t have to wait till my next doctors appointment to find out test results! They’re in the chart and beautiful as soon as the doctor gets them back. My chart definitely gets an A++ across-the-board
Maximus Titan,
Makes Medical Care easier
Medical care is my important to me, but it seems like every time I need to find something out. I have to go online and research myself however, with this app, I am able to connect with my doctor and get answers to medical questions without having to search the depths of online which has good information but also very bad information if you don’t know what you’re looking for. This app has made it much easier for me to connect with my doctor and get referrals set appointments and review past results of labs.
JarBear40,
Nice idea, poorly implemented
I love the idea of all your info with the convenience of an app. The problem is that you can’t get access to all your info and communication is very restricted and limited.

Example: I have an upcoming surgery and I can see the location and date but nothing about the check in time or even the scheduled time of the surgery. Also there is no one to send a message to in order to get this information. This is just an example. There are a lot of issues. Mostly due to limited availability or lack of support for the app.

Ultimately I have to find a phone number and wait forever to reach a person to get answers. The app. Is sort of useless unless your reordering your monthly meds. That is actually convenient. But you can also reorder or the pharmacy app too.
