YI 360-VR Camera Hack 2.3.3 + Redeem Codes

Unfortunately the live preview functionality for photos and video is not working with my iPhone 8+. I get a generic error of "Acquiring preview failed". I can at least fetch already taken photos and video, but this means I can't use my phone as remote or for changing settings. I have upgraded to latest 1.1.53 firmware and tried with both 2.4 and 5 Ghz wifi.

The app was working fine (cellular service has to be turned off to see video) until I updated to the latest OS, 13.2.3, and here I am at a job site unable to connect the camera to the app. I have restarted the app, restarted the camera, restarted my phone, forgotten the Yi network and reconnected, and the app still does not see the camera! There hasn’t been in update to this app in over a year and the app support website isn’t in English. 🤬 I use this camera for work and have owned it only 10 months. Fix this please!

The company no longer supports the app or the product and no longer sells any 360 degree camera. The app used to be pretty good, but now is almost useless. You can still view 360 photos by connecting the camera to the phone, but sharing to Facebook is now broken so there is no way to get your photos onto social media. Does anyone know of any software that can read the format and stitch the photos together if I transfer the files from the memory card?

For the longest time, I was going to give up on the app. But it connected one time when I didn’t have cell reception. Turns out you need to turn off cell service and connect via Wifi in order to get it to get a live preview. Yi needs to fix this, but for the time being, this is how I got the 360 yo connect to my phone.

Preview pops up a message, app can no longer be used that way but can be used for viewing local stored content. PLEASE MAKE THIS APP WORK WITH THE CAMERA AGAIN!

I have the same “acquiring preview failed” problem on iphoneX. It works ok on my iphone 7. Both have the same ios and app version. This bug makes the camera very hard to use. The only way to record is by using the analog buttons of the camera. There is no way to check what you will record in real time nor to take a picture remotely.

This app has been abandoned and it is very sad. Unable to connect to live stream, unable to change settings or download already taken pictures. Was only been able to download and upgrade camera firmware with the app. To the developer! Make the iOS app open source so the community can fix it and keep maintaining it!

Don’t buy!! Not working with iOS 13. Customer service claims it works but check the online reviews for yourself. App and firmware have not been updated for over a year.

Had the iPhone Se and upgraded to the X and this won’t allow me a preview or to control camera on either phone but will work on a 6+ fine. What’s going on? Never upgraded software firmware or app. Wasted my money

Followed the instructions to the letter but it refuses to livestream to FB page. Displays ‘live video about to start’ but just spins. Won’t let me back out of app, have to force close.
