Amazing insights into my baby’s development, giving me Peace of Mind
The Pathfinder Health app has been my constant companion throughout the first year of my daughter’s life, teaching me about things I never knew were clinically important. It’s fun to know that Milestones like banging 2 objects together and picking up a cheerio just as important as baby’s first steps. It also give tips and hints on how I can help my daughter achieve her next milestone. Sharing these insights with my pediatrician has been icing on the cake. I’d highly recommend this app for any parent seeking to better understand their child’s development, has a concern or simply wants to see their child thrive. Five stars all the way!!

Mediocre
As someone who has worked with young children for most of my life/career, this seems like a very vague assessment. Toddlers have emotions, which ARE normal and this assessment doesn’t take that into consideration. If you are selecting “not at all” for certain questions regarding behavior then I would be more concerned than if you selected “sometimes.” No reaction, is more concerning than an appropriate reaction based on age, emotion, situation. I also understand this is a starting point for parents to get their questions and concerns flagged to address with their pediatrician, so I do see value there. I am hopeful this app reaches those parents that are less knowledgeable on child development. I can tell this app is being promoted by paid influencers on social media who are not qualified to promote this. I am not impressed so far, but I am willing to give it more time and hopefully you will revise some of these issues.

There are several of these apps available today, that can help digitally record your child’s development.
I think where Pathfinder is really setting a new direction is in the aggregation of data on a linear and real-time basis. The end result is that you’re getting a very through cross section of a child’s behavioral development incorporating multiple data points form multiple perspectives. Versus getting feedback from a pediatrician or some other medical professional at a single point in time.
The key to effectively using this app is getting all stakeholders (doctors, teachers, babysitters, etc.) in your child’s sphere of influence to adopt this app as an additional method to record key behavioral milestones in your childs development. Aggregating this data will absolutely help parents and doctors to identify child development challenges, and potentially introduce effective interventions on a much earlier timeline.
But as I said, key is getting stakeholders other than parents to adopt the use of this app as well.

Great tool for parents of young kids
This is a beautifully designed app, and I find it very useful to track milestones for my young children. I’ve replaced the traditional baby book with this app.
It helps me to take the worry out of if my children are learning and growing on schedule. If something is identified on this app that seems off in my child’s development, I’d feel comfortable taking my concerns to my pediatrician and discussing further. It’s a great way to identify potential issues.
I also have found all the articles and activities on the app very valuable. This is a great tool for parents.

Fantastic app for tracking my toddler’s milestones
I’ve been using Pathfinder almost since my toddler was born over two years ago. Pathfinder has helped me keep track of her developmental milestones and has also alerted me when she has been either ahead of or behind a typical schedule for child development. You can tell that the Pathfinder team applies rigorous scientific and medical standards to their product. I highly recommend this app to any new parent!

Super useful
I love this new version. The old version felt like an app from 2000s. It looks better now and it’s so much more useful too. I love the articles already categorized by age group. Then there are so many awesome activities and it tells me how often do it and how long it can take. Like I can totally do a few activities with my son while I’m waiting to get the oil change.

Highly Recommended Child Development App!
This app is a great tool that allows you to track your child’s developmental progress and interact with physicians who supply you with advice based on your child’s specific needs and situation. It gives you great peace of mind all from the comforts of your own home which is a big deal during these times. Highly Recommended!!

Get rid of the dancing baby screen
I decided to try this app when it was promoted by an influencer. It looked interesting. In reality, it’s very annoying. The dancing baby on the loading screen shows up what feels like every other click. I can’t even check off the milestones down the list without the dancing baby loading screen showing up between each one. Eventually, it just got stuck on the dancing baby screen. The graphics are nice, but in my opinion there are better, more user-friendly apps out there.

I started using the app to keep track of my son’s developments a couple months ago. It is very user friendly and informative. It comes with screenings for different ages and lots of useful guidances/ tips for parents. Highly recommended! Especially for the first-time parents.
