spacekasexx,
BIG fan!
I really love this app. I started following E + E on Instagram in my first trimester and found their content so helpful! I was hesitant to buy their PDF versions of the program because of the price point and the fact that the pregnancy workouts and postpartum guide were sold separately. As I came up on my second trimester, I found it harder to get effective workouts in that were accommodating to my changing body and found myself much less motivated. As soon as I saw that they launched an app I knew I had to try it, and I’m so happy I did! I’m currently completing the third trimester workout program and will switch to postpartum once baby comes. I really feel like I’m getting a great workout in while staying safe and not overdoing it. What I love about the app is that you can start exactly where you are (I started at 28 weeks) and not feel like you’re wasting money on workouts from earlier in your pregnancy that you missed and won’t do.

Like all new apps, there are definitely some minor glitches and room for improvement, but I think the app is 100% worth the money for a year subscription. I’m really grateful to have legit and safe content to help guide me through the rest of my pregnancy and postpartum! The women behind this app clearly know what they are doing in terms of fitness and healing!
TAW620,
You won’t regret it!
Started with E&E during my first pregnancy before there was an app. Downloaded the app and subscribed as soon as it was available last year. The app has made it so much easier to do the workouts. Love the new circuit format as well. It feels like I get more done in less time. It’s perfect for busy mommas. You can pause your workouts, if you have to come back later to finish they make it super easy to start back up where you left off. The app offers everything. Workouts for pregnancy, postpartum, c-sections, running, yoga, core & more! And they are always working on new things to add. The workouts are designed for each phase of motherhood to easily accommodate where you are at physically. I love that I can trust that I am not doing damage to my body because of Krystle and Amy’s educational backgrounds. These ladies truly put so much time, effort and research into everything they put out in order to help us mommas heal properly and to prevent damage to our bodies. I was able to have two unmedicated births so far and am planning on doing the same with my third. I fully attribute that to the E&E workouts I’ve done during and after pregnancy. It’s 100% worth the investment in yourself!

Strong as a Mother
I started following E & E pre pregnancy on Instagram. I then purchased my first guide in third trimester. Boy do I wish I had purchased the guide sooner. I struggled through pregnancy with SPD pain and sciatica. Expecting and Empowered kept me moving and continued to help support my postpartum recovery with the C-section guide. When I saw the app release I knew I had to have it. This app has it all and I love the addition of Elevated & Empowered. I have completed this and am currently working my way through the running and core classes. What I love is how simple the app is to use and how all inclusive it is. As more programs are added the users get direct access no additional fees. I love that I am ready to start at the first trimester guide and work my way through when the time comes. I feel confident in my postpartum journey and future pregnancies with Expecting and Empowered at my side. Even more so with the convenience of the app.
One thing that I would love to see available, ability to add what weight is being used for exercises. Especially if going back through a program again such as the Expecting & Empowered to compare.

A Game Changer!
I had utilized the paper guides with a previous pregnancy and was a bit hesitant to splurge on the app subscription as well. I am so grateful that I chose to invest in myself! The app is so user friendly and I definitely find myself working out more when I see that icon on my screen. The workouts are easy to follow with the ability to read through the descriptions, see a video of the exercise, and even see modifications if necessary with just one click. I love that it is programmed to know which exercises are safe and best for each week of pregnancy. I am feeling so strong and ready for delivery thanks to the pelvic floor exercises. The flexibility portions have helped address so many of the aches and pains I had noticed with previous pregnancies.
I also have really enjoyed the addition of the yoga classes. I am now well into my third trimester and feeling fantastic— much of which I attribute to feeling so strong and in control of my changing body. I am excited to continue throughout this pregnancy and I know the postpartum resources will be a fantastic asset as well!!

Can’t Get Enough!
I love all of the different workouts; strength, abs, and running, that can be found in the app!
During my first pregnancy and postpartum period I consistently exercised using the E+E hard copy guides and felt amazing and had a quick recovery!
I wasn’t able to be as active during my second pregnancy, thanks to morning sickness and horrible SPD pain, but I have been able to consistently stay active during this postpartum period and it has made a world of difference in me mentally and physically! I have not really ran since I graduated high school but wanted to get back in to running, at 6 months PP, so I started the E+E return to running program and after that have been using their other runs multiple times a week. Thanks to those programs I have been able to run a half marathon, a triathlon, and am currently training for a 10K this weekend. My goal for this next pregnancy is to consistently exercise and move my body using this app in hopes to have an easier and more smooth pregnancy!

More than just a workout app
I have really been enjoying these workouts in these last couple of months of pregnancy. Your app has helped me change my mindset from working out to be in shape and lose weight to working out to prepare myself for birth and after. It has helped me change my relationship to my body and I’ve never been more proud and had less hatred toward it ❤️The workouts are efficient and I love the circuit model so you know exactly how much time you need to fit in your workout! Also have been loving the addition of the yoga section. I feel confident and supported knowing there is a program to begin as soon as I have my baby in order to reconnect with breath, core and my body in a way that will not be harmful or too much too soon and is based on great education. The community that comes with the app is also next level. So supportive and non judgmental. Overall, this app brings so much more than just workouts!
LWeiler,
The workout programs all moms need
What is not to love about this company or app? The workout programs are tailored to the stage of pregnancy or postpartum you are in and are created by people who know what you should/ should not be doing. They are realistic in length and weekly time commitment. Most take me less than 30 minutes and still give me a significant calorie burn. I also love that they are making constant product improvements and adding new programs. You can do the workouts from home with minimal equipment. This company also truly stands behind empowering women- no obsessions with strict diets, before and afters, or bouncing back! The E&E app has helped me find a balance in moving my body consistently but not obsessing over working out. My second postpartum experience has been so much better while using their app even though I had a harder birth. No hip pain, no leaking, none of my complaints from the first time. I am one strong mama thanks to E&E!!

Wanted to love it, but…
I really wanted to love this app and was excited to try it out, especially for the postpartum content. I’ve followed E+E on IG for a while and really trust their content and their expertise. However, the parts of the app I’ve tried so far just haven’t worked well for me. The workouts aren’t guided videos (by this I mean that there’s no audio on top of the moves) so, as someone newer to this sort of working out, I needed to stop at the beginning of each new move to read the instructions on how to do the exercise, which took a lot of time and disrupted my flow. There are also a lot of complaints in the community section of the app about glitches, poor sound quality on the core videos and guided runs, etc. For what the app costs I’d expect a higher quality; I think I’ll be switching to the Peleton app, which also has postpartum content and is cheaper. I know this app is brand new and I think there are just some improvements that need to be made, so I’m hoping maybe in a few months it will feel more worth my while, but for now I’m not planning to pay for more than a first month. Disappointed.
ChelssB,
Just keeps getting better and better
I found expecting and empowered right at the end of my first pregnancy, so I used their guide throughout my entire second pregnancy. Night and day difference between my delivery and pregnancy. I used their postpartum guide as well and it was great, but this app has just taken it to the next level. I have used the app throughout my third pregnancy and now I am in the middle of my third postpartum journey. I was hesitant to get it since I already had the guides, but I’m so glad I did. I love that the workouts are always under half an hour now… soooo much easier to work into the day! And the results are real, I had a three finger+ separation of my abs and after only three weeks of using the program I barely have a two finger separation of my abs. Side note - their labor and delivery course is awesome too. So check out their website too.

Safe & Effective
I started with the original E&E postpartum guide when my first son was 18 months old. I have never felt so strong and the workouts completely cured my incontinence. With the app, I have completed the running program and loved the way it gradually reintroduced running in a way that was safe. During my second pregnancy, I completed the pregnancy guide and prenatal yoga and loved how tailored they were to the different stages of pregnancy. I felt completely confident that each workout was safe and preparing my body for labor and delivery. After delivering I noticed that my pelvic floor was much stronger than after my first pregnancy and that my recovery was faster. I am currently 3 weeks into the postpartum guide again. The exercises in these first few weeks are exactly what I need to help my body heal. Thank you for an amazing product and super helpful IG content too!
