YunkyMike,
Missing ONE feature
This app is great, I used it a lot when I was learning all the different brass instruments (especially French horn) since it shows the notes on the staff. The only feature it’s missing is the ability to switch the staff in which it’s displayed. Currently working on college audition music for Trombone and it’s all in tenor clef, which isn’t an option. It would be cool to change the clef it displays. Sometimes French Horn is written in bass clef, Trombone in tenor clef, so on and so forth. Would be a cool feature. Everything else is great!
fionathefoxx,
This app is AMAZING for beginners!
I started playing French horn in middle school. Now I have been playing it for 3 years and have been successful! This app is definitely been a help throughout my journey as a musician. Being able to know what note and partial I was playing on was SO beneficial and created building blocks as a beginner. I still use it today when I practice new music, it’s always been a huge help!!

I recommend this app to beginners and anyone in general that is wanting to improve! It never lets you down ❤️❤️
Kiszka.Paczki,
Good app
I just started using this app today and I like it! It allows you to pick out the instrument you play and then when you play it it says what note it is. I wish it could recognize the note a bit faster because it takes a second and is kind of annoying when you want to play a little bit of faster music. But overall it is a great app for musicians!
AlphaCloud6,
Amazing app! +one idea
Honestly, I love this app, I am a clarinet player and seeing what the app looks like on the bar makes it so much easier when checking to see if I am playing the right notes. Personally if I had to suggest anything it would be to have a metronome built into the app so I dont have to keep switching apps. Other than that this is a great app and I would really recommend it

TL:DR good app, I would like a built in metronome to make it easier
SunEye26294,
Loved the app, but no longer works ☹️
When I say I loved this app I mean I LOVED THIS APP. I used it constantly to make sure I was singing on pitch, to test what high note I just hit, to test my range, etc etc. It made me a better and smarter singer. However, when I changed phones (Now an iPhone XR), it no longer lets me use it for voice (treble). Because the menu fits differently on this phone, it’s at the very bottom, beyond my reach. I can’t scroll down, it just selects whatever instrument on the side I hit. I’m disappointed because I miss using this app but because of one tech mishap it’s become completely useless to me. I’d gladly rate five stars if this was fixed but alas it is unusable.
dabpolicehater,
Great app, would prefer one addition
I play French horn and have been trying to find my range, this allowed me to see that I could play an a above the staff, however, it would not go past low f when I tried to play low notes, o have been able to play the c below that consistently, but it will not show. I just would like to see what I am playing on the bass clef.
Cbear*$$*,
Missing something…
The app is great but I play Cello, Clarinet, and piano and one day I when to tune my band piano and I came to realize that there where band and orchestra instruments but there was no piano and having my piano not tuned during class didn’t sound real good compared to everyone else. So I am suggesting that you add piano to the mix of instruments PLEASE!!!
Thank you
me is girl,
Worked fine
It’s nice… for most of the basic instruments, i play trumpet normally but I switched to mellophone and I cannot use this app any longer because there is no mellophone option. And I also wish that you could add stuff onto the key signature so you can exactly play what you need too instead of having to switch back and forth between sharp and flat keys. Overall, this app worked great until I got into harder pieces of music with different instruments that were not on the list. Great for beginners though.
PLUS ITS A FREE GAME!,
I don’t normally write reviews
No other app lets me put my baritone in treble clef 🎼 and this app actually does! I actually just started playing baritone and I was playing trumpet so the switch was weird for me because I kept playing too high. This app makes sure I don’t! It’s incredible! I love the wide range of instruments it lets you chose from! This app will help you! Totally recommend and totally worth it!
TACO BELL QUEEN 2.0,
AMAZING
I’m a 6th grade beginner brass player I play cornet and when my music director told us about this app it changed everything! I set this on my music stand every night when I’m practicing and it helps me learn my different notes and pitches on my cornet! I would recommend this app to anyone like even my bff who plays flute she even used this app so does her twin sister who plays clarinet!
