leslielez90,
Ab Rehab is just the beginning….
I have always been thin, even with pregnancy I went up to 135lbs and everyone told me how great I looked. Little did they know the constant round ligament pain I had throughout my whole pregnancy. Fast forward to two months post partum, I couldn’t even put my pants on without holding on to a wall from the pelvic pain. My breastfeeding journey was very hard. I was barely catching any sleep and my mental health suffered tremendously. A friend recommended I follow Nancy Anderson on IG and purchase her Ab Rehab program and I wanted to do whatever it took to get control of the pelvic pain. When I signed up I came to find out that not only do they have trained professionals to help with the Ab Rehab and pelvic floor but also they have IBCLC lactation consultants, baby sleep training professionals and even mental health professionals. All at the tip of your finger, unlimited. I have made sure to use all these resources available through the app and have had a great result with every single Coach I have spoken to. My almost 5 month old baby only wakes up once a day. I am not feeling guilty about supplementing with formula. My mental health has improved as so has the dreaded mom guilt. And let’s just say, it’s possible to be sore from just breathing! This program has been my saving grace! 5 starts is not enough! If you are on the fence, trust me, you need this!

Invaluable
This is my second pregnancy/postpartum period. I had Diastasis and poor pelvic floor function after my first and went the traditional PT route and then later after my time ran out with the PT I joined a different DR program. I was able to mostly heal my DR but my pelvic floor function still wasn’t up to par. This time around my DR is more severe, I saw Nancy’s program recommended (with AMAZING before and after) so I figured I’d give it a shot. I absolutely love how individualized it is for being an online program. In many ways I feel it’s more customized to me than what I did previously with the PT. The app makes it easy to stay consistent with it and know what to do each day and the work along videos hold you accountable. Rehab workouts can be boring and tedious so having the video to follow along with keeps you engaged and preforming the moves as intended. I love the ask a coach option to when I’m needing more feedback. I’m only 4 weeks into the rehab but I can tell my core is getting stronger and able to withstand more pressure (ie. sneezing) without leaking. I’m definitely seeing results quicker this time around than I had with previous approaches. I still have work to do but am thankful for this app and the guidance of all the coaches
TopoChicoLover,
It’s work, but we’ll worth it!
This program is work but completely well worth it! I signed up for AbRehab but wasn’t aware of all the other benefits that were included. Like Mental health, sleep training (HUGE WIN), and live webinars such as Q&A’s with Nancy, running posture, conquering naps, it’s a plethora of great information. Not to mention the restorative work that you are doing to have your body functioning correctly again. The support and guidance you receive from coaches and their availability is more then what I ever experienced when I was seeing a PF specialist and paying loads of money - it was not sustainable or affordable. However, this program makes it affordable and sustainable, you have videos walking you though all the necessary exercises. You just find the day your on and press play and follow along. The app itself can initially be a little confusing /overwhelming at the start, but like any new thing, after a few days of using it you start being able to figure out where everything is at. And BREC team is there every step when you have questions in regards to navigating the app or your program. My only regret is not signing up sooner after being postpartum to finally sign up.
BBChesser,
Highly recommend
I have been an athlete my whole life and continued exercising throughout my entire pregnancy. I thought this meant I would have an easy recovery after birth but I was wrong. I struggled with prolapse and pelvic pain. I had a difficult time just standing up long enough to take a shower. My OB recommended pelvic floor pt but it was not covered by insurance and I therefore could only afford to do a couple of sessions. I stumbled upon the birth recovery center and figured it wouldn’t hurt to try it with the affordable price and ability to cancel at any time. The AB rehab program helped to heal my pelvic floor. I no longer have the pain and discomfort and I can stand for long periods of time and have even returned to workouts I was doing pre pregnancy. It wasn’t easy at first. I got frustrated early on in the program trying to get my body to do the exercises. But little by little my body got stronger and my brain and muscles were retrained to work they way they are suppose to. I am so unbelievably grateful that I found this app. I also utilized some of the sleep training and lactation consultants support when I needed it and found it to be super helpful as well. I would highly recommend this app to anyone post pregnancy.
Jd0687,
Wow, I’m learning so much!
First, the app is laid out well and easy to navigate. I like that once I click on my course it has the next lesson for me to select at the top, or I can choose to go to any lesson. I also like the videos are right there in the app, no other app has to open. I only had one issue using my camera to take a video for my breathing assessment; however, I was able to easily upload from using my camera directly. Secondly, this program is amazing. I’m only one week in and I’ve learned so much about my body. I’be never been pregnant, but I am an avid weightlifter, and dealing with increased urgency and bladder leakage. Also I have hip pain and this program is addressing it all for me! I’m so impressed I’m finally getting somewhere because other providers weren’t listening to my complaints.
WEEK 4: App is still amazing. Easy to use, love the follow along workouts. Don’t think they are going to be easy just because they are body weight or resistance bands only; you will get a great workout! Posture is improving, core is already so much stronger. Three different people on different occasions complimented my weight loss (psst, I haven’t lost any! Just standing up better!).
Scarlett.mama1,
Absolutely genius
I am currently just over 4 months postpartum after my first baby. I delivered vaginally, sustained a second degree tear, and have been suffering from pelvic pain daily since delivery. I am an ER nurse which is a very physical job and I have been extremely active all my life as well. I continued to run through pregnancy and when I couldn’t run anymore around 17 weeks pregnant due to intense sciatic pain, I began to do lap swimming which I did until a couple weeks before my due date. I was referred to pelvic floor PT by my OB and am not be cleared to work until after I’ve completed PT. However, I was told the soonest available appointments were months out and I knew I needed to start doing something about my pain. As of last week, I couldn’t even walk down my street without limping. I am currently on Day 7 of the Ab Rehab program and I was able to go out for a 2.5 mile walk yesterday with a lot less pain and discomfort. It has only been 7 days!! I feel improvement already and I am so amazed-this app and program are simply GENIUS. And I am SO THANKFUL for discovering this when I did! Highlyyy recommend!!
kaycompton,
Don’t walk- RUN!
I had severe pelvis separation after my 5th delivery, and had to go see a PT in person-my insurance covered this, but I had done Nancy’s 30 day Slim Down a few years back and actually loved it. So I wanted to give her ab rehab a try as well. Everything they’re teaching in this is exactly what I’m getting from in-person PT, that I had to wait for my insurance to cover🤯 in other words, Nancy is charging a banger deal for this monthly. I wish I knew what I know now when I first started having babies. I’m 27 and this program is beneficial for all ages and stages (pregnant, PP, or neither). You may feel uncomfortable in some of the things you have to do but it’s for YOU, so my advice going in is to find the uncomfort so you can be comfortable later. If you don’t know your body and how it works you might feel “silly” to do certain things here- but trust in these coaches and push through your feelings because it’s exactly what you’d get in person through any PT and it will only work if you’re fully committed to it working. It’s the work you put in with their guidance, just do it!
JennylynnPT,
Blown away…haven’t peed myself since I started!!!
I am a 41 y/o, 5.5 years postpartum c-section mom of 1 and a friend recommended the Ab Rehab program after she was experiencing amazing results. This program is like no other I’ve ever done (I’m very active and a DPT). I love how personalized it is to my specific needs goals. The access to coaching from truly knowledgeable and caring women is incredible. I am only 4 weeks in to the 12 week program and have already experienced drastic improvements…not just in appearance and how my clothes fit which is of course wonderful but also in more functional, life changing areas. I haven’t leaked urine even when sneezing, coughing, laughing or jumping on a trampoline with my son!!! My posture and breathing has improved. Decreased shoulder, low back and SI joint pain. I’ve even noticed a greater performance in other workouts. I am so excited to see what the next 8 weeks bring and have been shouting from the rooftops the impact this program has had. THANKS from the bottom of my heart (and pelvic floor😂) to Nancy Anderson and all the incredible staff/coaches!!!
Megcar8,
Such a process but so worth the commitment
I’ve never been pregnant (hope to start trying within the year) but I’ve suffered from horrible chronic low back pain and insanely stiff shoulders/neck (sometimes just turning my head would kink my neck). I’ve always been super disciplined with my workouts, movement, foam rolling and stretching and grew to believe I was just unlucky and would live with this pain forever. I don’t know what made me click on and explore this program but something got my attention and I decided to fully commit. I stopped my workouts and fully dove into Ab Rehab (with some added mobility work in phase 2). I just completed phase 2 (day 45) today as well as week 2 (day 14) of the slim down and I cried in the car earlier when I acknowledged that it’s my 5th day in a row without any low back or shoulder pain. It’s SO hard to stop your routine and commit to something new and (much) slower especially when you go a month not noticing much improvement but wowwww it is SOOO worth it and I’m excited to continue with the second half!!
MROOOOY,
They care about your $$
I signed up for the last month and my dad went into the hospital and then a nursing home which has been the most difficult thing I’ve ever had to navigate. I sent a message to customer support, Whitney, and asked that since I was unable to even start ab rehab and had a lot of unforeseen life difficulties if I could be afforded the next month (you can see that my activity has been sparse on the app). Furthermore, the ab rehab starts with a series of assessments which requires private time, not something you can do while kids are watching TV. They didn’t much seem to care and said I can sign up for the next month. So I canceled. Lesson here is: an advertisement from social media doesn’t care about you and your situation. They’re simply pocketing your $50 a month no matter what. I know it’s unrealistic to refund $ for anyone who doesn’t use your product because that’s on the client, but with this unique situation that I didn’t imagine when I signed up, I wish they could’ve taken a little more compassion. Last note: if I had used a personal trainer I would not evn think of asking for an extension of a membership or my $ back, but this is an app, a challenge as advertised. A 30 day challenge as advertised and I didn’t even get to start!
