Long time player
I have been playing Toreba off and on for quite some time, and the service has only improved. I love the addition of the having assistance available after a certain point (gone are the days of frustration from being so close but the plastic corner is stuck below the bars and you are forced to abandon a prize you’ve been after for the last hour). The TP prices include shipping, and now that assistance is in place to cap expenditure, I feel it’s much more reasonable even when I make mistakes. Customer service is also kind, so even when something goes awry out of my control, help is available. Toreba has also been good about trying new styles for games, and it’s always fun to play a novel setup. Not everything is perfect, but this is for sure the best crane game on the market. Be patient, watch other people play for the prize you want from start to finish, and you’ll get it in no time.

Black Screen 98% of the time.
I have had this downloaded for over 6 months and played daily and loved it even though the good merchandise is always TP only or someone is playing the machine that appears to have unlimited funds so they play till they win and make it pointless to even try after they win. As of the last 3 weeks every time I reserve a machine it loads the play screen and stays black, if for some miracle it loads the camera properly after you start a game it won’t change camera views or doesn’t show the crane movements making it a complete waste of time since you can’t see what’s going on at all. Needless to say I have not won a single item off of this game but still kept playing because it was at least fun, with that being said it is not even remotely fun anymore with never being able to see anything going on in the game. I’m willing to give the developers more time to correct the problems without using lame excuses like your internet must be bad since it shows people playing the games just fine and only acts up when remote control access settings are put into action. If you can’t create a game that functions well everywhere in the world for all players maybe take it out of the American servers and only offer it in Japan. I hope you fix these issues as I will continue to check in for a few more weeks and if no changes occur then I will keep this as 1 star rating and regrettably delete the application from all my devices in favor of something that actually works.

This is the best app ever! The free trials sometimes work sometimes don't. (I've downloaded the app with different apple IDs and device). If you're not familiar with these Japanese UFU/Crane game you would think it's a scam. But NO this is exactly how they work in real life, except for the little delay because of the internet connection. (Oh come on you're controlling a claw machine from the other side of the world...) I've played with these machines in Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan. The claws are meant to be like that. Most of the time you can't just place the claw right on top of the prize. It won't work. The point is to find the best angle/strategy to get the prize. This is SO fun. If you don't know how it works, try watching people play and you'll get that eventually. It's a bit expensive because you can hardly win in 1 play but I think it's worth it. The prizes are all in good quality, authentic and in good packaging, unlike those useless junk toys and plushes we get from the claw machines in laundromats/ toys r us... I've won 32 prizes total the past 2 months. (Yes I have spent a lot of money so if you don't want to spend any this is not the game for you). They give you free shipping once per 7 days no matter how many prizes you have won that week. Give this app a chance!

Beware the “add-on” prizes
This game used to have free shipping every week, which is great because I barely ever win. But now they’ve added a TON of new prizes and labeled them “add-on” which you actually have to pay the shipping for… I wish I would have known that before I won one of those prizes. I paid the $20 shipping for the dumb thing but never again; I won it with tickets so by the old system it would have been free :/
Now whenever I play I have to dodge those prizes which is SO MANY and the selection is pretty crap now.
The machines are winnable, I’ve won about 10 times so far. You have to stalk the machines and find ones that are not impossible though. Japanese style claw machines DO NOT pick up the prize, you have to move them little by little (some will pick up but it’s rare). Over time you learn what prizes have good positioning, what type of claw is the best, and what style of machine is more winnable over others. It does take a bit of effort and winning doesn’t happen often (at least for me) but it’s not impossible.
Anyway, I give it 2 stars because even though I like the game, the new shipping guidelines are just plain greedy. Why did they feel like they needed to milk more money out of people when the machines are so hard to win anyway? They’ve been giving out a lot more “free tickets” lately but that doesn’t really make up for the new shoddy selection of prizes that qualify for free shipping.
Now whenever I play I have to dodge those prizes which is SO MANY and the selection is pretty crap now.

Was good, over time quality has gone down
When Toreba started it was great, it didn’t feel too easy but didn’t feel like it was a waste of money. Now? A total waste, and is coming from someone whose invested some time into this and won a handful of items. Nobody should spend anymore money on this. The claws are looser than they’ve ever been, rods are now ever so slightly too high to where it’s completely stopping people from something that should have been a win and the products get stuck in a weird spot! When they notice machines become too easy they remove it and leave the ones with looser hooks up! it is absolutely ridiculous how many machines can’t nudge a product even the slightest bit, and to top it all off the assist thing is a joke; in addition they never respond until weeks after the fact when there’s a product that’s actually stuck in a dead zone. There needs to be something that tells you before which you have to use TP for and which you can use! they used to respond to issues in a reasonable amount of time for me. Now I’m lucky if they ever respond at all! I’ve always had my doubts but more and more it feels like a scam and people should just avoid. This is coming from someone whose had a handful of wins from this game, it’s just not worth it, especially not anymore.

There’s luck based and skill based machines on here but the majority is skilled. I’ve been playing Toreba for many years and won many cute prizes throughout my time playing! They give free daily play tickets and if you spend an amount on TP (in game currency) you also get bonus tickets. If you’re new to Toreba make sure to practice and watch other players or win replays on how people win prizes. The best thing about it is the free shipping also which is every 2 weeks after you shipped your previous prizes. When you win a prize you can have it sitting in your cart for 2 weeks before it expires. I usually play within the time frame and see if i could win anything else so i can ship it with my other prize for free. I have spent money on the app as well but never for shipping which is great. All in all i love playing on Toreba! I do miss the old playing machines though and some old prizes they used to have.

I’ve been playing Toreba off and on since the pandemic started and back in 2020, it was great. I won a TON of prizes, the shipping was free, and free plays were given out frequently enough that most of my wins were on free play tickets.
I checked back in recently and to be honest, I barely recognize Toreba anymore. The prize selection used to be the main draw for me but now most of the licensed prizes are gone and have been replaced with either cheap, generic brand toys or the same Sanrio plush I’ve seen on the app since 2021. The few licensed plush they have left looks more like they’re trying to clean out inventory and the selection is completely barren. Free play tickets don’t seem to be given out unless you buy Points first, and you can’t even use them on half the machines. The machines themselves have only gotten more and more unfair over time and playing them feels more like a money sink than a skill-based UFO Catcher game.
Unless Toreba makes some sweeping changes, I can’t see myself ever returning to them like I used to. I used to absolutely love this game and it brought me so much happiness through the pandemic, but now it’s just a shadow of what it used to be.

I have been playing Toreba and another claw app for years. I have completely stopped playing the other and exclusively play Toreba now. Some may say that the games are rigged or too hard and that may be true to an extent but if you no what you’re doing you can win some great prizes spending very little. You get several free tickets every day (you don’t get that from other claw apps)as well. Other claw games have terrible customer service, bootleg prizes, lag and connectivity issues causing your prizes to get stolen by “snipers”. That doesn’t happen with Toreba. I’ve never been booted from a game. Rarely experience lag, prizes are top notch, arrive quickly and the one prize I did get that was damaged they immediately reshipped out with an apology. Toreba is leaps and bounds ahead of other online claw games and it will continue to be my favorite 😻

Years ago when this game came out (as others have said) it was great. It has slowly dropped heavily in quality over the years. Awful prize selection/quality, and they’ve made most of the machines nearly impossible, even if you dumped 30+ tries into something.
Recently they ran a huge campaign and app overhaul, promising their players they can come back, because the machines were easier, and the prizes were better again! This lasted a whole 3-4 months, and Toreba is right back where it has been, awful prizes, impossible games. Its really frustrating for them to even be incorporating a monthly membership model, and to presumably garner a certain amount of members, then turn their back on their monthly paying players by making their membership mostly useless, with the inability to win anything, let alone with only 10,000tp.
It’s really disappointing to have gotten excited about the game again, just for it to turn into garbage like it was.
They have the capability to do better, they just don’t.
Toreba, make easier mashies. If it looks like I wouldn’t even be able to take the toy with my hand and shove it through the opening, let alone using a claw with .005 PSI grabbing power, then it’s too difficult. When I go into a machine it’s like you literally just don’t even want us to play it.
