TokyoCatch Claw Machine Hack 1.6.35 + Redeem Codes

Edit: Support did respond to my message through email, allowing me to actually claim my prize. They sounded sincere in their message and I dont blame them fully for what happened. As they stated below, they were overwhelmed and I don’t doubt it. Since their response, I have placed the order for my item. Once received, I will edit again about the quality :)

I played this throughout the Alpha and Beta stages and, during that time, everything was free. Of course you wouldn’t actually win anything, but it was still fun to just play. However, upon the actual release, it seemed as if support just went downhill. I, in particular, was going for a figurine after I’d spent about $10 on gems. The machine grabbed my prize and the way it landed it fell right out the front if the machine. I took screenshots and immediately sent an email to support, showing the exact time stamp when it happened, asking if I was still eligible to receive the prize or if I could have a refund and got absolutely nothing in return for WEEKS. Fast forward to a post I made on the forums STILL no one got back to me. That was back in December and I still haven't gotten any contact from support regarding anything related to the issue.

Tokyo Catch is probably the worst crane game app I have ever used and it is far worst that in-person cranes at arcades. I bought a bunch of gems to try and win a limited time Akuza figure because I really like Demon Slayer. After about 6 tries I maneuvered the box into a very good position and only needed one more play to win the box when there was a malfunction and I got kicked out of line!

Since I got the box into a good position there were a lot of people who got in line behind me to try to snipe my hard work. When the game malfunctioned and kicked me out of line, the next person in line won the figure on the next turn even though I had plenty of gems left and did not cancel my place in line. I was very frustrated and all that the Tokyo Catch team was willing to offer in return were the gems back for the plays I used on the figure, which is not sufficient because 1) by the time they gave me the gems back the figure was no longer in stock and 2) it would likely take me more time and gems to win the figure that I had already put so much work into winning. I didn’t want my money back (because I already spent more money than the figures were worth), I just wanted the prize I rightfully won if not for Tokyo Catch’s bad coding and malfunctions. Not even the share video function works on the app!

Long story short, this app and company are a big waste of time. Don’t bother downloading unless you want to be scammed out of your money.

(REMINDER TO ALWAYS RECORD YOUR GAMES) I found this app/game from its sister company. I was like hey that’s cool. I tried it and spent around $10 trying to figure out what was going on. Once I got the hang of it it was pretty fun and got a lot of cool stuff. The thing is, prices went up. Instead of $3 dollar plays it was now $6 plays. ($ to gems) so that was kind of annoying but I decided to just play a bit more sparingly. Suddenly there was an influx of what people are calling “Snipers” or people who wait for you to leave your game to finish off the prize. This is kind of mean but it’s part of the game, it makes sense. What doesn’t help is the janky app. You’ll sometimes be kicked out because of a failed timer and lose your prize. I’ve lost over probably $100 on mistakes from the app. Disputing is good when the app messes up but if you don’t have a recording, they’ll basically just say “Oopsie whoopsies! sorry you lost your money but we are not legally bounded to help you!” So it’s super infuriating, borderline theft. So my recommendation, don’t get this app. You’ll have to spend around $60 per prize if you are the first person to play the crane, but you cannot leave your game for ANYTHING. Someone will steal your prize. If you don’t want to spend $60+ Sadly, you’ll have to prey on other clueless players. Not cool though.

I truly enjoyed playing this game before they marked my account as suspicious and closed it. I reached out to them regarding the matter and they explained that they believed I had multiple accounts because I introduced the game to my mother and my brother and they began to play on their own with SEPARATE devices AND accounts. We also all used different payment methods as they said in the FAQ. I explained to them that I only had one account and that my mother and brother had their own but they ended up shutting down all of our accounts.

I spoke to support again and they reactivated my mothers account. I still wish I had my account because this is a very fun game but they did send out the prizes.

I’ve been playing on this app with my daughter for a couple years. We have stuck to three prong as it’s easier for us. We had been able to win a fair amount of prizes every month. That is until recently. 3 prong didn’t always have the best prizes like figurines. Those were usually in the harder two prongs. But for some reason recently they put a bunch of higher end prizes in the three prongs. We were initially excited about until it we realized we could never win any more. Now all the snipers and more advanced players are playing every few minutes and scooping up the three prong prizes.
Also we know that they way the algorithm works is the claw is set to not clasp tightly unless the amount of money the prize is worth has been covered by plays first. So with players having already won a crane 5 minutes before you know you’re not going to have a chance at winning that prize unless you invest more money and time. As players who have won about 10 prizes a month, we are averaging only one prize a month now. Not even enough to get them shipped for free. Super disappointing and not worth it to us anymore. Even when we do invest a bunch of money the clasps are not clasping tight enough. We might as well buy the items we want at this point.

Starting the game, I had 3 free plays from linking a Facebook account. With these free plays, I won a figure. I was so excited to ship the prize, but turns out you need to win a prize with gems (which cost irl money) or pay exactly 600 gems (12 dollars). So, I spent almost 30 dollars trying to win a prize. Long story short, I got nothing. I was sad to find out that the 3 tickets you get from linking your Facebook account used to be gems. Gems. Until they changed that and the price of the gems that used to be cheaper. I was dumb enough to not record my plays where the machine malfunctioned and lost even more money. I’ve pretty much given up because I feel awful. I ended up spending more money than the item is worth. You could buy it online for cheaper. Though I guess that’s the point of the game, to gamble with your money and have fun on machines to win prizes. The game is great if you’re willing to spend money to have fun. And I would like to add that support staff are really nice so you don’t have to worry when contacting them. To end this off, I just have no skill and terrible luck. The figure I won is just a lost cause now lol 🤷‍♀️

You will lose so many plays because the crane doesn’t respond, or because the crane moves while not showing any video. They will tell you it’s your internet connection, but I always wait until I see the bubble that says I have a good connection.
For $2 a play, even one malfunction is unacceptable.
Also, the customer service is terrible. When I complained that they didn’t send me the prizes that I actually won, just a different variety from the same crane, they had me jump through a lot of hoops, while giving meaningless platitudes. And finally a “I’ll check with our shipping department.” For the other prize, they told me to wait on the package whipped with Japan post in April. People move, so I have no expectation to ever see that.
Only after persistent emails, did they add one of the items to my cart with no further reply. So, maybe, if you are annoying enough, they will sometimes throw you a bone to try to appease you.
Don’t be me and try it, because the daily free plays, only to get addicted. You might not have a problem quitting, or you might spend hundreds of dollars trying to get that next dopamine rush. It’s not worth the risk; stick with free games.

As this is an online service, I understand technical errors like other reviewers stated would happen and TokyoCatch was previously great in refunding in-game currency for those errors.

NOT anymore. The service quality has declined terribly since the start of this year. You are forced to record all your plays, or else you won’t be refunded for glitches nor given wins you rightfully won. I had won a prize without triggering the win sensor and the employee quickly reset my prize along with weakening the claw to have no strength in picking up the prize. I requested customer service for the prize but was told that the plush was “stuck” (it was in no way stuck) and would not be offered the prize nor a refund because it was not stuck before. I was blamed for not video recording my screen, never heard a crane game service require that from its customers, and blamed for not throwing more money after the claws were weakened.

Verdict? Try TokyoCatch if you’re willing to be scammed by technical glitches and employees resetting or denying your prize when you’re close to winning/won.

Tokyo Catch makes it easy to submit support requests, which is good because the app is full of glitches. I have to report around 10% of my plays because the claw is unresponsive, and I file disputes on about 20% of my wins because they don’t register as wins. In addition, the three-prong claws regularly pop open early, dropping prizes and making the game one of pure chance/luck instead of skill — which is wild when they charge as much as they do per play. And if you report those claws, the response is basically “tough luck.” It’s a feature, not a bug. This happened to me again on November 23 — the claw clearly popped open early on what was otherwise a solid grab, and the reply from Fathara in customer support was, “We were unable to find any errors in the mentioned gameplay.” If the machine didn’t malfunction, that means it was literally impossible for me to win on that play. This makes me far less likely to spend money on this app in the future. I understand that the app needs to be profitable, but it also needs to be functional and at least somewhat fair.

I’ve tried a lot of different crane game apps and this one is definitely at the top. I really love their customer service and if something is clearly wrong with the mechanics of the game then they’ll refund you very quickly. I also like their selection of prizes and how they keep it to a slight minimum, because I don’t want to spend hours looking for a crane that I want to play. The prizes usually come in less than a month, which I’m totally fine with and I’ve never had any thing wrong with my orders. I really recommend this one a lot! Their free daily plays keep me logging in every day 😂 Keep doing what you’re doing Tokyo Catch!
