Thanks for hanging with us on this update.

We fixed the bug causing the app to indicate that users had subscribed to our newsletter when they hadn't. This bug did not actually subscribe users to the newsletter, but incorrectly indicated that a subscription had occurred.

We also fixed a bug that was affecting the delayed wake function for users outside of the Pacific Standard Time Zone.

We also added a "like" button for liking us on Facebook. We have a really great community of users on Facebook that are chatting with us and each other about the apps. We are really excited about this. "Like" us on Facebook and help us figure out which apps to make next.

Meditation is life changing but needs a dark mode!
The actual meditation I’ve been using for 3 years and it works incredibly well. My only complain is in the new update they made the full app white and 99% of the time I use this app right before I go to sleep and the white background hurts my eyes. If it went back to blue or even better a black background it would be perfect! But I use this app every night and it works wonders!

Deep Sleep Works!!!
I have had insomnia for years and this app just plain works to get me to fall asleep. I have used it successfully for over 6 months now and I use it every single night. You can set the therapy session to repeat as many times as you'd like, I have it set to 3 times. Andrew Johnson's Scottish accented voice calmly quiets your mind and allows for a deeply relaxed state of mind and body during the introduction, then he goes into the therapy session of helping your mind fall asleep. I recently had a minor issue with the app and emailed their customer service and turns out all I had to do was reboot my iPhone and the app worked perfectly again. Mike from customer service simply could not have been more helpful. I was pleasantly surprised to even get a response let alone the personal help he gave me. I have 4 other Andrew Johnson apps for relaxation and meditation and all are excellent!

Don’t care for new update
I get it, they endure tons of criticism for not updating, and here I am complaining about it finally happening. I liked the old app. They’ve changed it now where it actually transitions tracks in between sections of the meditation and just the brief second or two of silence has jarred me awake. I used to be able to control background noise and vocal noise independent of each other and now that option seems to have disappeared. Lastly the old app also gave me the ability to blend audio with something playing out of Apple Music. I would often use this to put on white noise so that once the meditation ended white noise would keep playing and stop me from waking due to a sudden lack of audio. I’m going to try a few more times, but I might have to find something else.

2015 is when I first learned of Andrew Johnson. In deep sleep it says to listen to it every night once a night for at least three weeks; my husband and I have been listening to AJ since that first night in 2015. It’s rare that we go to bed without putting on AJ, we’ve listened so long we can both say the first few words by heart, but we don’t know the end because we are always asleep by then. AJ has literally extended our lives by creating a space for deep sleep. Mr. Johnson if you ever read this thank you very much from the Anderson’s in Chicago.

I should have rated this app long ago, and it should be more widely known. It really, really works, and I have recommended it to many who suffer from poor sleep/insomnia. The only thing is that the developer should make it so that the app does not automatically keep the screen in “on” or “lit” mode—one has to turn off the phone screen manually or else it stays lit, which seems counter-productive for this app in particular (as well as a battery drain).

The most recent update gets rid of key features and functionality is much different. The meditation is much shorter and cannot be customized to wake up at a certain time, like before. I had gotten used to the routine of this sleep meditation and then used it last night to find that the words in meditation itself was different or edited shorter, no option to choose a wake time just wakes you after the cycles... it’s all a nightmare update that takes away a lot of key features that separated this app from other apps. I will be moving to a different sleep app, especially when he does updated meditations for free on other meditation apps anyway..

Best Andrew Jackson app ever.
A lifelong insomniac, I used to take pride in my 3 to 5 hours of sleep a night. My Fitbit sleep evaluation made me realize how unhealthy my habit was. Even so, I hobbled along with the same amount of restless, light sleep. The first night I went to sleep with the app, my deep sleep measurement was off the charts. And it continues. I wake up with so much more energy and well being that the difference is night and day😊. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

This app changed my life.
I travel a lot; hotel rooms and jet lag make sleeping hard. I also get stressed and can’t sleep, or wake up in the middle of the night feeling restless. I’ve been using this app for 3 years now. At first I just loved his voices d found it calming. Now, after listening most nights for 3 years, I turn it on and my brain settles down to sleep. I hear those first three notes and I’m ready to sleep.

It works!
I always wake up early in the morning and then it’s hard for me to get back to sleep. This App really helps me get back to sleep.
One change I can suggest is that change the background of the interface from white to black so that in the middle of night when it is open it doesn’t brighten user’s eyes.

BEST SLEEP APP EVER!
Andrew Johnson is amazing, he works EVERY SINGLE NIGHT for me, and also has helped me learn to calm myself down for bed when I can’t use my phone. This app is honestly the best sleep app I have found, and I have tried numerous ones! I love the adjustable settings and his Scottish accent is so soothing. I have been using this app for three years and absolutely love it. TRUST ME DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH OTHER SLEEP APPS, go to bed TONIGHT WITH ANDREW JOHNSON! You won’t regret it! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
