ErgZone is an app made for athletes using Concept2 indoor equipment: Rower, BikeErg, and SkiErg.

Why ErgZone?

We have created this app so athletes can focus on their workout instead of spending time manually configuring the PM5 monitor, making calculations for heart rate and interval pace, scrolling through the PM5 monitor memory to take photos and manually input the information at Concept2 LogBook.

- Based on benchmark times, we estimate the duration of each workout
- No more setting up intervals manually on the PM5 monitor: when connected, just press “connect to PM5” and the app will do it for you. Then, all you have to do is start moving.
- Easy comparison between intervals by displaying a list of intervals with live stats: time, meters, pace, spm/rpm, calories, watts, SPI, heart rate percentage and zone.
- Calculation of suggested pace per interval: based on benchmarks (1k, 2k, 5k for Rower and SkiErg, 2k, 4k, 10k for BikeEg), each interval will display the suggested pace (when provided on the workout details)
- Live signals when split time or rpm/spm or pace are under or above suggested.
- Automatically uploads the results to Concept2 LogBook.

• Heart Rate & Power Graph: See all intervals/splits in the same graph containing all HR & Power zones after you finish a session.,
• New Metrics & Remember Preferences: New metrics: Drive Length, Max Power, Average Force, Peak Force, Recovery Ratio, w/kg, FTP%, SPI%, Force Curve (only available for RowErg/SkiErg with PM5 v2 or higher), Projected Time. The app will also automatically remember which metrics you used on the last workout so you don't need to tap the columns multiple times.
• Time Cap & AMRAP: Use the Time Cap feature to automatically stop a workout when the time ends. Use AMRAP for mixed workouts.
• Power Intensity, FTP, or SPI: Configure the intensity of your workouts with percentages instead of splits. • ReRow, ReSKi, ReRide: Redo a training session with goals based on previous performances with ErgZone+.
• Create & Join Communities: Create your own community and be the captain. Share workouts with friends, cheer their achievements and enable leaderboards for some fun competition. Join other existing communities and unlock their content.
• Apple Health Integration: Automatically save your workouts to Apple Health to track your activities. Heart Rate data is also saved when a heart rate monitor is connected to the PM5.
• Web Admin Dashboard: Manage your workouts and training schedule in a computer with the Admin Dashboard. You can also see your live workouts in the browser and display it in a big screen.

Great app (plz read suggestion)
This app is really good for creating and tracking my rowing sessions. The only improvement I’d like to see is when you create a new workout and hit the x to close, that you have a confirmation pop up letting you know you would lose unsaved changes. This happens a lot where I set a long distance, and when I add splits, the save button is far down and out of sight, so I click the x and lose it, then have to remake it. Also, if unique names for workouts could be required, that might be helpful. It’s probably very uncommon, but I was showing someone how to use the app and duplicated a workout I just finished, then accidentally deleted the wrong one bc they had the same name, etc.

The best app for the Concept2 Ergs
ErgZone is the best app that gives comprehensive understandable, reliable and customizable options to help you perform at your best. Not only on the indoor rowing for workouts, classes and private instruction, but for racing and community -- it just can't be beat. The developers are very responsive to feedback and are constantly making improvements to meet the need of the rowing community. The premium features are well worth the extra costs. Essential app for my Concept2!
While Concept2’s app is better than nothing, it doesn’t list my split times in real time. ErgZone takes care of this important need and does so much more. 10k rows are my bread and butter, and ErgZone allows me to see my split history (500m or whatever you want) while I row. The ease of entering custom workouts is another huge plus. Heart rate tracking is excellent, to say nothing of a BUNCH of helpful data I can see in real time. It pairs easily with my PM5 and I’ve never experienced a crash. I don’t know what I would do without it!

Pretty much THE app if you use C2 equipment
I’ve been using this app since beta. Bottom line, if you use C2 equipment for your training, this is the erg software you need. You can easily & quickly program intervals that would take forever doing manually on the monitor. And you can base your training pace around your 2k splits, and rate targets — all the work is done for you. Plus, you get real time feedback on each interval as it happens, something you cannot do with the C2 monitor itself. Thank you to the devs for making this app!

So helpful (but have a request!)
This makes it so easy for me to hit my workouts without painstakingly entering intervals directly into the monitor.

A feature that’s really needed though - I really need the app to make a noise at the end of intervals when it’s time to rest and again when it’s time to begin the next interval. I’m often selling my soul during a tough interval, so, I’m not staring at the clock and I’ve missed my rests before.

Best app for Concept2 fitness equipment
I’ve have had the pleasure of using this app since early 2019 and it is a game changer. Being able to program complex workouts in the app and push to the PM5 monitor is so easy. Heart-rate zone training is also easily visualized. As a bonus it Integrates with your Concert2 logbook for automatic workout uploads after each session. Concept2 WOD for the RowErg, SkiErg, and BikeErg are published and in the app each morning along with select free or subscription programs.

If you use Concept2 machines, you need this app
I discovered ErgZone back in the spring through a rowing competition, and the app blew me away. You can load pre-programmed workouts into any concept2 erg with split goals, custom intervals, pace goals, And notes. After you complete any workout, it is automatically uploaded to your online logbook. If you are subscribed to certain online coaching platforms, you will have access to their workouts in ErgZone, preloaded and ready to go.

Love this app!
I row or ski on C2 machines almost daily. This app is leaps and bounds over the one I used previously. The interface is sleeker, I get a full image of my session (no more stitching to share) and it programs the PM5 for you. If you work with certain groups, then your programming is already pre-loaded which is even better. The devs are incredibly responsive and always looking to address issues and make the product better. I’d happily pay for this app if it weren’t free.

My Favorite rowing app
I have been using ergzone since it was in beta and it has revolutionized my erging. All my workouts from my coaches are pre-loaded, all my workouts automatically upload to concept2 logbook, all my split goals and spm guides are built in, it really is the perfect app for erging.

I also have a lot of experience programming in workouts and it is very easy to use!

ErgZone for the win!
I’ve been using ErgZone since it’s inception. It is an amazing app with more dynamic data than any app in is category. I say category because there are none in it’s class! If you are a beginner on the ergs or a high level competitor, this is the app for you!
And yes it loads all workout instantly to Concept 2 website!
