So Satisfying!!!
I’m not usually a fan of mobile games, and most idle games as well, but I DO love RPGs of all kinds on PC and console. If you game at all then you will be at least familiar with the “what do I actually WANT to play?!” Dilemma, where nothing hits right in that moment, for some reason… I dip in and out of it often. Btw, sorry for the lengthy setting of the scene. I felt like it makes how I feel about this game all the more meaningful.
Now to the meat and potatoes of this review… My husband is a huge fan of idle games and had a feeling FarmRPG was something that I would love if I just gave it a try. He gave me a thorough breakdown of the game and before I even downloaded it, it sounded like all of the things that I love about RPGs, tucked neatly into a mobile friendly form… It scratches the Loot itch, it scratches to Achievement itch, it scratches the Skill itch, it scratches to Quest itch, it scratches the Crafting itch, it scratches the Exploring itch, and finally it scratches the Community itch (without being annoying!)…. I think I might have even spaced on a few itches it scratches!! It literally scratches almost all of the non action oriented itches that I love about RPGs!!! Give this fantastic game a try. You will not regret it. Our whole family is obsessed with it now… You will love it too!

Mobile Game of the Year for me!
I’ve been playing FarmRPG every day since October 12th, even when I was in another country on vacation. The community in chat absolutely slaps, everyone is kind, fun, and genuinely interested in other folks’ progress and how much fun everyone’s having. The dev (firestream/fs) is constantly working on improving the game, and has JUST cleared up a major source of lag (that might have prevented players from fully enjoying the game). Honestly, a highlight of my day every time I come back to play. I choose to support the dev on Patreon, but it’s not because I feel like I need to buy in-game currency to progress. Plenty of the game’s quests reward Gold for turning in items, and there’s no ads in the game, which gives it a huge thumbs up in my book. I’ve wasted too much time in other idle/mobile games waiting for a 30 second timer just to keep playing. FRPG rocks, and it’s the greatest mobile game I’ve ever played. Keep up the great work, fs (and all the farmhands and mods)! The gameplay loop is satisfying and things are constantly being tweaked and added, which might not appeal to some players, but I think it keeps things fresh. Thanks a ton, folks.

Surprised at how much I'm enjoying myself.
The game is exactly what it says on the tin, which is pretty rare to see. Genuinely no advertisement or limitation to interrupt your experience. Every aspect of the game I've interacted with so far is thoughtful and well fleshed out. The little sprites for different items are very well made and the visuals that are present are nice to look at. For the game to be primarily text and still remain engaging with the ways you interact and balance doing different things is fairly impressive. My favorite thing about the game is I never need to worry about not knowing what, who, how, or when for long, because the game has a lovely system called the 'Library' which has all the information you could ever want about various aspects without it ever feeling difficult or overwhelming to locate the information you need. If I had to be a greedy little gobbler, the only thing I could possibly ask more of this experience is a few more music tracks, but I think I'm the only one asking for that. Absolutely worth a college try if you want something made with a little love.

I am very tough to please when it comes to games on my phone. Maybe I’m picky or maybe I was just waiting for the right one to come along.
Farm RPG is literally everything I want in a game. There are things to do while you’re away but there’s also sooooo much to do while you are in the game! Usually you have to wait for your energy to reload or something but in Farm RPG, they have a workshop where you can easily make your own energy drinks. The workshop has so many different things you can create. There’s also a farm to grow resources and have animals to give your resources when you feed them. There’s a few fishing spots to get other resources or catch fish to sell to make more silver.
And it’s awesome because if I miss a day, I don’t feel like I wasted my time and efforts. Everything stays the same (besides the farm seeds that turn into vegetables after a certain amount of time).
I thoroughly enjoy this game. I’ve been playing for about 5 months or more now and I’m still interested in it.

Literally the best
I’m an avid mobile gamer. I’ve always got a game I’m playing and frequently dive deep into them. I’m not exaggerating at all when I say this is the best mobile/cross platform game I’ve ever played. It’s perfect in its simplicity and extremely deep in its complexity. The currencies are so well balanced. The quests are appropriately challenging. The game is fun both for newbies and “T199s” and manages to stay fresh for all levels. The community is fantastic and the game enables their incredible generosity. People are genuinely supportive of other players and it Feels Good to play and help others out.
Did I mention that it’s totally ad free and the devs are insistent on making it possible to succeed without paying a penny? I’ve given them tons of money because of this but that has been my choice, not at all a requirement of the game.
I read a review like this before playing the game and thought it was overhyped but if anything I think it’s dramatically under hyped. It’s such a good game. Please go play it and see what I mean!

Game is Fantastic, Mod Team Needs Work
I’ve been playing this game for months and months now and I’m literally in love with it. Its probably one of the mobile games I’ve consistently played for several months now, and I have zero complaints about it.
Literally the only issue I’ve encountered is with the community and the mods. None of the mods seem to have a consistent stance on certain social issues, and frequently silence LGBT+ people who are simply trying to exist and play the game without being discriminated against. It makes me upset as someone who is part of that community, because homophobes and transphobes in particular seem to run kind of rampant while people in those communities are frequently chat banned for either defending themselves or their community or literally just making jokes about their genders of all things. At this point I’m likely going to avoid interacting in chats and I’m no longer going to be spending money on this game until something is done about these mods on a power trip, but I honestly don’t have high hopes considering this seems to have been a problem for quite a while. Its very disappointing that this game can’t be properly moderated, because again I adore this game and the creator is truly a dedicated guy for maintaining and updating this game.

Absolutely phenomenal
I have been hunting for so many years for a game exactly like this….I have a hard time staying with a game and couldn’t ever find one that wasn’t either full of ads/micro transactions or some other money paywall ect. This game has optional gold you may buy however IT IS NOT NEEDED…you gain gold from achievements and that’s very generous imo. Absolutely no ads..period I’m serious NO ADS AT ALL!! The gold allows for quality of life perks or to buy special items that you can find while playing the game that’s it no pay to win ect. I’ve actually stuck with this game for longer than a mo th and that is incredible! Did I mention this is all made and worked on by a single person who is fairly active with updates as well as being online chatting with the players ect…what other dev do ya know that actually listens to the players AND INTERACTS with them and takes suggestions ect…please do yourself a favor and at least try this wonderful gem of a game!

Great game with one thing missing
First off, this game is amazing! There are lots of different areas to visit, skill improvements and more, but there is one thing missing, accessibility. I am blind and use a screen reader called VoiceOver on my iPhone. I have played a games over the years, and stuck with a handful of them. I think many blind people would enjoy this game. There are very few mainstream games that are also accessible and that appeal to both blind and sighted players. In addition, I think this is one of the few farming games which are accessible. I have heard that the dev is working on accessibility improvements. I have been able to do most things in Farm RPG, but there are a few tasks that I have gotten stuck on, such as planting and harvesting crops. For the most part, I am able to do everything else in this game. It would be great if more blind people got this game and provided their feedback to the developer. For everyone else, definitely get this game if you like games you can play over time and don't have to be tied to.

Best Game Ever Made
Over the years I have clocked countless hours on several mobile games, one could even call me a mobile gamer. I’ve had obsessions with games in the past, Tiny Tower, Make More, Pocket Frogs, but none have come close to my obsession with FarmRPG. I downloaded the game during Thanksgiving Break because I thought it looked fun and similar to my favorite PC game Runescape. I have played this game every single day without fail since then, I live and breathe FarmRPG. Every aspect of the game is incredible and I have more hours on it per week than all my social medias combined. The community is extremely friendly and welcoming, which is very important to someone with anxiety like me. I have had nothing but positive experiences talking in chat and people have been so generous in the Giveaway channel. There are absolutely zero ads which amazes me, meaning I get sucked into playing for hours. It’s everything I want in an RPG and more. I love FarmRPG. FarmRPG is love. FarmRPG is life. Thank you.

Amazing game
I mean there’s not much to say about the game besides it’s great. I really enjoy every part of the game. I think the best part is the friendly community. Everyone is nice and caring about how the other or new players are doing. There are frequent updates and the developer actually listens to their community, which is far and few between in our day and age. The gameplay in general is very simplistic and easy to understand. It can be a bit confusing at the beginning, but once you play it for a bit you’ll get the hang of it. Also cool feature is there’s a stock market you can buy and sell meat on (okay maybe not an actual stock market but close enough). I’m really excited to see how this game will continue to grow.
A few suggestions/lose ideas. Maybe add like a common marketplace where people can buy and sell each other goods. And I’m not sure if this feature I'm asking for is an upgrade or not but if could be a way to see how much progress you have on certain tasks without opening them that would be great. And finally I’m begging you, and I think I speak for everyone when I say this, please NEVER add ads to this game or some kind of pay to win system.
